I had read many positive reviews about Pho Lime. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience when my husband and I went. To start with, if took our sever about 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink order. The restaurant was very busy. Once our order was taken it took a long time for our order to come out. Our sever brought over the wrong food to our table three times. The kitchen was very disorganized. It took over 30 minutes for all of our food to get out to our table. Then I noticed one of the most unsanitary things I've ever witnessed at a restaurant. A plastic cup fell and made a noise that prompted me to turn my head. I noticed an employee pick up the cup, rinse it off in the sink, and use it to prepare a drink. I paid attention to this, to the detriment of the friends I was with. Sure enough that cup that fell on the floor was served to our table. I told the server what I had saw and he remade the drink for us. We ordered the crab ragoon as an appetizer that came with iced tea as part of a combo. These were big and stuffed full. The cream cheese was still melty when I bit into it. We ordered the eye round steak pho and bun cha gio salad. The pho tasted good on a cold day, even if it did not contain a lot of meat. The salad was solid, but nothing special. The meat and shrimp in the salad was good. This restaurant has decent food but the disorganization, poor service, and unsanitary conditions, I will not be returning to Pho Lime.

Solid choice for Vietnamese in the area. Be aware that this spot can get very busy very fast, so be prepared to wait a little if you're going with a party larger than 2 at peak dinner hours. There's not to much in terms of immediate competition in the area as the strongest alternatives are really closer to the Palatine and Hoffman Estates areas. There are other Asian restaurants in Elmhurst, but your options are limited if you're looking for pho specifically. Service is friendly but can be a little spotty, and prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you're getting -- particularly as part of a combo. Food is solid here, as I mentioned before -- you won't really find a better Vietnamese option in this immediate area, though the food flavor and texture was only alright for me -- similar to what you find in most suburban Vietnamese options. That is, the pho has an okay, but not super strong flavor -- you get plenty of noodles and vegetables, but meat quality is okay and not served raw. The bun is similarly reasonable -- with an okay marination and grilled flavor on items like the pork and shrimp. Noodles are fairly soft and the fish sauce isn't overly strong. Vegetables are fairly fresh, but the flavor combination is just alright. The crab rangoon here is filled generously and deep fried, good if you enjoy the filling and crunchy skin. Overall, this fulfills the general need for Vietnamese food if you're in the Elmhurst area with large portions and fairly good prices. If you're looking for a more refined flavor and texture, you're better off looking at spots closer to the city.

I love myself a good Vietnamese restaurant that offers the traditional cousins but also gives some flexibility in their menu. You can order by QR codes on the table or ask for a traditional menu. Don't skip on the appetizers like the spring rolls or chicken satay. The chicken was tender on the inside but nice and crispy on the outside and there was a nice nutty sauce to dip it in. You can build your own pho bowl or choose from one of the present options. I ordered the "dirty pho" which was spicy but had all the ingredients that typically come with the house special bowls you see at other places. The quantity of food in this bowl was quite a lot. There was only one size so it's nice to see them give a lot for the money and still taste good. Service is friendly here and the space feels very new and clean. This is a place you'll want to come back to on a repeat basis.

So fire!!!! I was looking for a new Viet spot to try with my friend that wasn't super far. So glad I found this place cause I can see myself coming back. The restaurant is very clean inside and the staff is kind. It looks pretty modern inside too. The menu has tons of options with pictures. I ended up getting a Thai ice tea to drink and the bun bo hue as my entree. Portion sizes are huge so expect leftovers. Comes with all the usual fixings on the side. When they packed my food to go, I really appreciated that they separated the noodles from the broth to prevent the noodles from getting too soggy. It's a little detail that didn't go unnoticed.

Outstanding Vitenamese restaurant in Elmhurst, which is generally not known for having great ethnic restaurants. Everything is flavorful and portions are good. Service is friendly. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

Great food great place although it's not in a busy place. Food is great and, love the tom yum soup so I had to try the noodles in tom yum soup flavor. Love how clean it is inside. But its a must try!

Inside is very clean and chill. They play calm chill coffee shop style music. Everything is color coordinated and cute with the green light shades and seating. The food is delicious. Im so happy to have a pho place so close to home. Highly recommend stopping in. The small was very filling. The service was nice, friendly and prompt. I will definitely be in again and you should stop in if you haven't yet.

When coming to Pho Lime, I initially thought it was a smaller more lowkey spot. I thought the prices seemed a little on the higher side. When the bowl came out I said woah now, because that bowl was THICK! The pho was very average, nothing exciting. The spring rolls were heavy on bun noodles, and also very average. Let me talk about that Bun Bo Hue though. Pho Lime has taken my personal #1 spot between all Vietnamese restaurants, and even some households, for that Bun Bo Hue. You can taste the lemon grass, you can taste the mam ruoc, but most importantly the flavor was blended together seamlessly. This bowl alone earned the five star review, and will be the reason I come back.

A friend and I were in the area and craving Vietnamese food. She looked up nearby restaurants and came across Pho Lime. Located on a strip with a boba shop, dental office, and a few other establishments, Pho Lime can come across as unassuming. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised to the inside very clean and spacious. We were seated and given a pitcher of ice water right away. I ordered the vegetable and tofu spring rolls as my appetizer. They came out freshly made and were quite good. My only "complaint" that the ratio of noodles to tofu was 3:1. For my entree, I ordered the seafood pho made with chili garlic broth. This dish was the winner for me and the reason why I want to come back again! It was super flavorful, filled with noodles, shrimp, squid, (imitation, which I personally do not mind) crab meat, mussels, and fish balls. The chili garlic broth was absolutely delicious! I like the variety of food Pho Lime offers. You can choose from the popular pho options or opt for a "create your own pho" by choosing the proteins, noodles, and broths. My friend ordered the fried house egg rolls and the vegetable pho. She said they were both very tasty. I would also like to note that the bathrooms are very clean and that service is quick yet still very attentive! Such a hidden gem in a quiet strip!

I really like this place! I discovered it after changing jobs and went with a coworker for lunch. I ordered the Eye Round Steak with Tom Yum broth and it was amazing. Super flavorful and delicious. I've also tried the clear broth before and that was really good too. The only downside is that they're closed on Wednesdays, and sometimes when I call, no one answers maybe I just call at the wrong times! Either way, definitely worth it.

The broth flavor was excellent. The pho was amazing. The service was quick and the food was perfect temperature. The ambiance was chill with nice music. I had the garlic chilli shrimp dumplings and brisket pho... Everything was excellent. I would definitely return. Parking plentiful.

P4. eye round steak & brisket absolutely amazing! The broth is so delicious l initially forgot about adding the Sriracha and hoisin sauce.

The eye round and brisket is absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh . I forgot to add the Sriracha and hoisin sauce because the broth was that delicious. It was a GrubHub order the broth was still hot by the time it made it to my home.

My hubby and I ordered two orders of Vietnamese eggrolls, fried tofu in garlic soup, 1 pho and 1 other soup. It was delicious and my hubby is a pretty tough critic but he had 4 different plates of food in front of him that he was enjoying so much he couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. I enjoyed the service because they actually gave us a pitcher of water which I think is smart because we can just help ourselves whenever we want instead of waiting for a server to refill our cups. We enjoyed dining into tonight everything was amazing and very clean! Thank you!

You place your order on the tablet, there is just one guy working in there who makes the food and places it on the counter. The decor is simple and just right. The food is the best food ever! I had the rice paper wrap with tofu in it. I could only eat half as I was so full. The seasoning on the fries is so good.. and the cucumber salad was top notch. Even the drinks in the cooker area were very interesting that I had never seen before. It's very clear that this is a very well thought out restaurant. The only feedback I would give is to add a couple of options for vegan gluten free in the menu. My wrap had to be customized and communicating with the chef was a bit of a challenge due to language.

Zenwich - Tasty Food, Lacking Warmth…read more My family and I recently visited Zenwich and tried a little bit of everything--two sandwiches and two rice bowls. Let's start with the good: the sandwiches were delicious, with standout bread that really elevated the meal. While I wouldn't go out of my way to make a special trip just for them, they were definitely enjoyable and well-executed. The rice bowls earned a solid 7.5 from my husband and son. Flavorful and filling, but maybe missing that little extra something to make them truly memorable. Where Zenwich unfortunately fell flat was the customer service. We visited around 5 PM on a Friday and there was only one person working. Not only were we not greeted when we walked in, but we stood at the counter for several minutes without even being acknowledged. I even saw another customer politely thank the staff member after asking for a napkin, and he didn't so much as look up in response. It left the whole experience feeling impersonal. If the service matched the quality of the food, this would've easily been a four-star visit. With just a bit more effort in the hospitality department, Zenwich could really shine.
