Food and service were amazing. I got the #3, and a water, my total was around $14 not including the tip I left. Constant checking up of the table, and had everything I needed. Not my first visit here either. read more

Terrible food Dirty place according to the coworker that picked Up the food. Working for the largest construction company in the whole RGV I always get to order food on Fridays and never again. read more

Back again to have my favorite beef barbecue plate and egg rolls. My parents used to take me here as a child so the flavor brings me back to great memories. I'm here today with my boyfriend for his late birthday lunch! I have been raving about this barbecue for so long and I'm excited to have him try it! read more

Pho Le Lei is so good! I've had the chicken curry which may be the best I've ever had. I also had the Vietnamese fried shrimp. It has sweet potato and very lightly fried. Everything has been delicious. read more

Sorry, but the food was not good and the service was lacking. Would not recommend. I wish them well but will not eat there again.

Many things happened since my last review. One was moving to the valley a few years ago and dining at Pho Le Lai on multiple occasions since it was close to us. I've noticed negative things I experienced changed. The pho is good, not homemade, but decent. :) the rice plate gotten better! Bbq pork is flavorful and juicy! The nuoc mam is very good. LOVE the egg rolls and my son loves it! I usually order 2 orders of egg rolls for him so my husband and I can have some too. Overall I'm glad we have a Vietnamese restaurant less than 3 mins away! read more

Very cozy atmosphere, and our server was incredibly friendly & assured our meals and service were great. The pad thai is the perfect amount of spicy and sweet. The plate could feed 2 btw--I could not finish it, but it was delicious. The beef pho was great as well! read more

Pho Le Lai - Chicken pad Thai - Vietnamese Near Me - Mission, Texas

The interior was pleasant, waitress was delightful, Vietnamese eggrolls were delicious, the noodle dish E ordered was flavorful and my pho broth and vegetable toppings were just fine. What wasn't fine was the taste and texture of the seafood in my seafood pho. When the waitress asked how we liked our meal I mentioned that the seafood did not taste fresh. She suggested that maybe I just don't like squid. I assured her that I'm fine with squid when it is fresh and prepared correctly, but this tasted freezer-burned and the texture was off. She left to talk to a manager. Instead of addressing the problem the manager sent the waitress back with a plate upon which there was a selection of thawed seafood to show me that their seafood is indeed fresh. I'm not sure how thawed seafood indicates freshness. All it proved to me was that I'd rather give my business to a place that acknowledges a problem and takes action. read more

Alright, so after several times coming back here, I have to change the rating that I gave them. First of, the price is still higher than I'd normally pay for Vietnamese food. The food still takes a lil while to come out. However, they are irresistible. I came to that conclusion tonight after fueling myself with more than enough booze, not enough decent food the last few days. I was in desperate need to carb up or at least eat some decent food. My appetite has been gone the same time I realized I like booze more than food at this point. So if I was gonna force feed myself, I need to find at least something I love. So pho it is! Pho Le Lai to be exact! It was way out of my way, but I didn't mind. That's when I really realized I'm in love with Pho Le Lai.... Secondly, the service there is always on point. One of the servers almost always remembers what I want, since I get the same thing every time. They are always friendly, upbeat, extremely prompt. The kind of attitude that you can only find at Starbucks where the baristas have inhaled and drunk too much coffee that they're always in good mood and hyper. It's extremely rare to get this good of customer service at an Asian restaurant, especially Vietnamese. On the other hand, the cook and possibly also the owner, is not that friendly at all. Good thing I never had to deal with him. Only seen his borderline straight/grumpy face whenever he goes to the front to get a drink. Last but not least, the very few food items I have tried here have been very good. They definitely don't skim on the vegetable, which I reallyyyy appreciate. The restaurant is small, but very nice and clean. This really is as good as it can get down here in the valley. Until next time Pho Le Lai! read more

Pho Le Lai - Trying something different this time. Bun Bo hue/spicy beef noodle soup. Not bad, but not great either. - Vietnamese Near Me - Mission, Texas

Not that great! Was excited to try the pho based on reviews. It had a funky smell and taste to it.

Totally addicted to this place!! They go heavy on the noodles in the beef broth, so make sure and say light noodles. Also, ask for fresh jalapeños to add to the amazing broth!! read more

I love this place. Food is really good. Nothing fancy but always friendly. Quick. Clean.

Honestly no redeeming quality in this visit. Called ahead of time for a to go order, excited to get the delicious spring rolls and peanut sauce mentioned on Yelp. Nope. Peanut sauce discontinued and they have fish sauce with the spring rolls now... what?! They told me it would take 15-20 minutes for my to go order of chicken pad thai. It took them 35 minutes. Seriously??? I was late for my meeting and they didn't even offer a free water or anything for my excessive wait. I was hoping the wait would at least be worth it but that was the weirdest and worst chicken pad thai EVER! It was like spicy red chili based or something instead of peanut sauce based. Not tasty at all and so spicy. It was so bad I threw most of it away, and that never happens. I would never eat here again! read more

I'm not a huge Pho fan, but we are on a low carb program right now, the wife was next door getting her nails done and I was hungry so I stopped in. I wanted to eat in my truck so asked for the food to go. A bit of a challenge for Pho. But, they packaged everything up perfectly. I got a combo without noodles (I know, it's strange, but - low carb) and without tripe. The broth was good as was the rest of the ingredients. I slowly added items to the broth and ate away. I could only finish half the container. They did a great job. I will be back before we leave n February. read more

Yummy pho in the Valley. Spring rolls are good too. Great waitstaff and received food rather quickly. Fresh condiments of basil, bean sprouts and cilantro to flavor it up. Nice, clean establishment that's worth a stop if craving pho and wanting a healthy meal. read more

For a Vietnamese owned Pho restaurant this is a poor attempt to try and fool people on how Pho really taste. Given the fact that I am Vietnamese and have had plenty of Pho throughout my life and ate at tons of Pho restaurants in the middle of no where, I understand not to judge Pho restaurants based on my nationality and how Pho should actually taste, and especially in places with 1% Vietnamese population, this is by far the worst Pho restaurant in Beef Pho SoupsTexas. The broth was bland, tasted like water, the steak, flank brisket and meatballs tasted old. Owner couldn't even leave the Hoison & Siracha sauce on the table, had to pay extra for a tiny size togo sauce cup. Really? Unacceptable for a young vietnamese owned "Pho Restaurant". Ya'll could've at least bought the instant Pho packets and used it as the base for the broth, it would've tasted better. Gotta hand it to you though, you totally fooled the 4-5 star reviews on Yelp. Just my opinion, hope this helps the owner makensome changes. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about the food here. I've had most of the pho here and vermicelli bowls(bun) loved them all and they are pretty consistent with quality. Vietnamese egg rolls are soooooo good. Best in Mission Tx in my opinion. read more

Good straight up Pho with all the trimmings. Very popular place so at times it takes a while but worth the wait.

I love all of their food, but the spicy pad tai and curry fried rice are phenomenal. I love that you can request no MSG or cilantro. Everything is always great. We get takeout and it's always still hot. Have never been disappointed. read more

Great restaurant, good service and excellent pho. Their pad Thai is excellent and definitely more than enough for leftovers.

Craving Pho?! This is the place to be, as their Pho is delicious and served hot!! First time here (11/15/19) and we enjoyed the food, as well as the friendly service from our waitress. We will be back soon to try other dishes from the menu, as well as more Pho!! read more

I've been going here for a while now everything is extremely good and the staff is extra friendly

Yeah I know, ANOTHER 5 star review, but hear me out...this place deserves it so bad. The valley is usually hot all year round, but for Pho Le Lai, everyday is pho day! The Asian cuisine in the RGV is average, but here the pho is the best in the valley! I just can't get enough of this place. I usually get the chicken pho when coming here and it's always hot and delicious! The chicken is so hearty and the soup is extremely flavorful. Their specialty is pho and it's fantastic but, to be really honest..the best thing in their menu is the Pork Shu Mai. The pork is absolutely incredible and whoever folded the shu mai has the hands of an angel. I haven't been here in almost two years, but I still remember how legendary it was. Even though I can't have it now, all I can do is recommend it to you guys! Try to come here early for the shu mai, they run out so fast. Believe me though when I say it's magical and hope you get to try it when coming here. Overall, Pho Le Lai is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the valley. The cost is relatively cheap and if you are at all sick or just hungry, come here when you can. You won't be disappointed! read more

AMAZING service, great food, and 10/10 atmosphere; soo peaceful. definitely recommend, was overall a great experience

The pho is delicious, and I will definitely be going back. The portions are generous. I stopped here with my mother, and we both order pho. We loved it so much we called my dad to drive over and join us for lunch. The side of bean sprouts, jalapeno, cilantro, and other vegetables were so fresh and crisp. The hot oil was great as well. The waiter was plenty knowledgeable about the menu and helped us order. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the restroom wasn't very clean overall, very excited to bring my husband here soon! read more

Great little restaurant. We order takeout often! Staff is very nice and accommodating

The food here was awesome! It was our first time dining in, the restaurant was empty when we went and the service was kind of slow, which I really didn't mind because our food was fresh. Our server was great and offered us some tips on the items we ordered that made the food taste so good! It's a little pricey but for the portions and quality it's definitely worth it! I've also tried their crispy chicken to go and it's also amazing. We will be coming back for sure. read more

The Beef Pho, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and fried rice are amazing. So is the slow-drip iced coffee. Best place in the valley for authentic Vietnamese food! They're menu has a great selection so if you're not in the mood for a hot bowl of Pho, there's other dishes to choose from. Service is great too, whether you're dining in or carrying out. I've also had my food delivered through the Favor app if you're not up for making the drive. All around 5 stars!! read more

This is a good place to get a good pho soup. Their service is great and love their pho and wings!

I love this place! The food! The Customer service. I eat here everytime I visit the valley!

Egg rolls were delicious and served lots of lettuce to accompany. I ordered the pho brisket. It was a different pho experience. Immediately I noticed the noodles were not the usual sticky noodles, they were also pretty thin compared to other places. The taste of the broth was also very different from what I'm use to. I want to say it was a bit sweet. Overall it's not my favorite pho place but very good service and good size portions. read more

We found this restaurant using Yelp. While it had mixed reviews most were good reviews. This was our first visit to a Vietnamese restaurant since since We visited the one in Visalia. The food here exceeded all our expectations. The Pho was prepared exactly as it should have been. The service was excellent. The food arrived quickly and was steaming hot. We will definitely be back. 20 Jan 2016 - We have been back to this restaurant at least 3 times since the original posting. Every time service and the quality of the food continues to be excellent. read more
