Located at a small strip semi mall, parking was east but when this little strip gets busy get ready to search for parking on the street. We were seated immediately and order was take ( paper and digital menus available). Shared a large bowl of steak and brisket pho and an order of shrimp fresh spring rolls. Pho was good with just enough meet and pho noodles for 2. If you have a large appetite then this might be good for 1 lol. Spring rolls were on the smaller side in comparison to other places but tasting really FRESH like if it were made when ordered. After a long afternoon spent at Ikea shopping and getting ideas for new furniture, my family was worn out and just looking for a place that would have hot soup on the menu since the weather was rainy and chilly. Pho Hot is my go to "local-ish" hassle free pho spot. It has a free parking lot in the front, little to no wait (don't get me wrong, it's busy! They just have have quick turnover and lots of to-go orders), and decent pricing. Their broth is very clean tasting and they have plenty of meat in the pho. Joe is awesome. He was so impressed when he saw my little one eating her dinner with chopsticks. She is seven years old and she loves the challenge. She was able to easily feed herself her entrée. When her hand got tired, she switched it up and used a spoon. The employees were so impressed by her meal choice. She loved showing them how she was able to use her chopsticks. She even impressed her father. This was a very first visit here. They made an extremely pair of nervous customers feel right at home. There were so many things that we wanted to order. I ended up getting the number 10 regular which is the thinly sliced brisket in beef noodle soup. The meat was plentiful. So much so that I ran out of noodles before I ran out of meat. Most times it is the other way around. The broth I cannot say it was as hard as some that I've had but it definitely was very good. They are fried egg rolls are perfectly crispy, not overdone, but I felt like they fish sauce dipping sauce could have used a little bit more punch. I'm not sure if a dollop of sweet chili sauce in it would've helped or what. But still, they were very good. Summer sausage spring rolls were yummy. There wasn't very much noodle in them. That I could appreciate. It was wrapped in the rice paper wrapper with lots of lettuce, and the summer sausage. I believe there were some Julianne carrot in there. No matter. It was tasty. And it was a great appetizer to start off our meal. The dipping sauce was fabulous. In fact, it was so good we had to ask for more. There are a number of other dishes that I would like to try here in the future. And speaking of the future, they let us know that we could always come in and order a bowl of fa, but ask them to customize it for us. They could add different cuts of meat. They could add Combinations of meat that I were not listed on the menu. They told us that pretty much any combination of things as possible and that we just had to ask. That was encouraging. Did I mention the service? Their service is actually pretty awesome. Just a turn around to look behind me and someone rushed up to ask if I needed anything. That is really not common in an Asian restaurant. So, that was another thing that made me feel good about my choosing to eat here. The restroom was very clean and very well kept. I did not hesitate to take my daughter to the restroom, and to wash her hands after our meal. She even commented on how nice it smelled. I can really appreciate a place like this, that not only takes care of their customers very well, but their restrooms and other facilities as well. They are open until 8 o'clock although they accept orders until 10 o'clock if I am not mistaken. I also believe that I read that they are closed on Sundays. In order to be able to use a credit card or debit card for purchase, you must spend a minimum of $10. All of these things I read on the little partitions in between their tables. I know it doesn't look the best to have tables set up like that but I really can't appreciate those partitions as flu season is definitely in full swing and a lot of children are out sniffling, sneezing, coughing wheezing, and just not being more careful. Back to Joe, he is super friendly. We were talking about other pho restaurants, and how a lot of them seem to have closed and just cannot make it through the pandemic. He was so glad to hear that my family and I wanted to come back here to try more items. It was a really nice night tonight. And beef noodle soup was a great idea too! We were in the mood for a lunchtime bahn mi and had already been to most of the Vietnamese places near us in Studio City, NoHo, Burbank, etc. So we Yelped and decided to check out this authentic looking place in a strip mall next to a gun shop and barber. The place was pretty busy when we arrived at 1pm on a Friday, but they sat us quickly. As we walked to our seats I saw almost everyone had bowls of pho and not bahn mi's or rice plates. Uh-oh. We decided to still order the bahn mi. Luckily we did because it was a new bahn mi experience for us. We're devoted Lees Sandwiches fans and we've tried many other banh mi's from Arizona to Vegas to SF. The difference in Pho Hot's bahn mi was the toasted French roll. It was warm and fresh. The pork was just cooked and hibernated nicely in bun with the sauce, carrots, cucumbers and jalapenos. It was a comforting sandwich. It wasn't the best bahn mi we've ever had though. The pork could have been more flavorful and the carrots and cucumbers could have been pickled longer. Nevertheless, it was worth driving an additional 10 minutes for us to try something different. Pho Hot was great! I have never had pho anywhere else besides Mama Hongs in Burbank so this is a new experience for me. Pho Hot is inside a plaza with maybe six other stores. The parking lot is a little small, but there is ample amount of parking... if you get there before 12. Once it hits 12 o'clock people just started flooding into the restaurant. There's plexiglass between the tables to offer comfort & space I suppose. The waiter was prompt, friendly, accommodating, they listen to you. The food came out quickly & it was very fresh. I feel like we got what we paid for. They weren't rushing us out of there or trying to get us to order more. I would definitely come here again & I think next time I'll bring my mom. read more

The restaurant's located in a plaza with adjacent parking. I went on a weekday afternoon, and it wasn't too busy and I was able to get a spot easily. I enjoyed my order! When I opened the takeout container, it smelled real good. The beef was tender, and I appreciated their generosity with the greens and for providing fish sauce and utensils in the bag. The con for me was that the bún/noodles could've been a bit more soft, but that's just my preference. Also, the chả giò/egg rolls weren't as flavorful as I thought they'd be (so I should've tried dipping them in the sauces; a task for next time...). Another gem here in Glendale for authentic Pho. We started off with an appetizer and then the Pho. Everything tasted really good, but I would say that if you are sensitive to specific cow parts, then you should ask for soup only and not the meat or put it on the side or ask what it includes. Trust me and ask, but only if you are picky, I'm good with everything, but some people can't handle it. Aside from this, everything tastes fresh and delicious.
