So this was my first time at a Pho restaurant. I guess I need to try another place to compare it because I was not a fan. It was very plain. The gyoza was okay, nothing to brag about. I got the Pho Chicken, my husband got the Pho Haven, and my son got Pho Shrimp. They all had the same flavor: plain. It just wasn't what I expected. Our waitress was nice, but she didn't speak English well. I tried to ask questions and she had a blank stare. The place is nice and clean though. We stopped in to order take away. There is a big touch screen right by the front door. We got 2 orders of pot stickers and 2 2 different phos. Perhaps I'm just a pho rookie but I didn't realize that with the pho with ribeye the meat is raw and when the broth is added that cooks the very thinly sliced beef. As this was taken home the broth cooled obviously but still did cook the ribeye. Just something I'd wish I knew as if I could do it over I'd have gotten the brisket one like my son did as the brisket is already cooked. Again - the ribeye did cook once the broth was added I just think it took slightly longer as the broth cooked slightly on the drive home. read more

The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, chic with a Vietnamese flair. I've never been to a pho spot that allows you to customize your soup. Spicy or regular broth? (I like spicy, but beware!) Shrimp, chicken, meatballs or beef? Spring rolls or crispy dumplings? If I have one critique, it was that I had hoped for banh mi, but it isn't on the menu. Pho Haven is conveniently located not far from the intersection of Getwell with Goodman Rd. The dining area is spacious enough that tables don't feel too crowded together, even at a busy time. I visited with a group of five (including one child). We were welcomed, and well served throughout the visit. I ordered a Pho Dumpling and added meatballs. It was an excellent dish. I love me some pho and I've been trying many of the places in memphis and the surrounding areas that serve it. I finally got to try this spot out (via Uber Eats), and it did not disappoint. They have lots of options and you can customize it to your liking (spicy vs non spicy broth, etc). The food arrived and the broth was still piping hot. It was also pretty flavorful. I ordered extra noodles and there were plenty. I also ordered their house made chili oil and it was a delicious addition to my bowl. Not too spicy, good amount of heat. There was plenty of meat as well. I'm so glad they are so close, because I'm certain I'll be visiting or ordering from them again real soon. read more

I love pho and this new restaurant did not disappoint. The whole place is impressive. Very clean and modern looking. They actually bring you a tablet and you order directly with the kitchen. Food arrived almost immediately, hot and fresh. Even with that modernization, there is a fairly large contingent of staff taking care of customers. One thing that was different was they chop the jalapenos, most places slice. A small convenience but very nice. I will definitely be back. read more

Very expensive! Clean and new business. Very fresh and good food. Fast food dining with the cost and price tag of an upscale restaurant. The server was nice, but service was minimal. The silverware is stored in a drawer on the table. The water was brought out, but not poured. The dishes were not cleared. The food is very expensive considering the local pho you can get for 1/2 as much in Memphis. The lunch plates are as expensive as dinner. I spent $45 on lunch with tip just one person. I would spend about $25 in Memphis for the same items and more service. Not good value for your money and service. Very little meat in the pho combination. The Vietnamese coffee was full of ice. I finished it in three sips. Again, good food but way too expensive considering. Hope management will consider a lunch menu at a more reasonable price. read more

So this was my first visit and I will say I was very impressed. The young lady that waited on me was extremely attentive very sweet and the food literally hit my table 7 minutes or less. I ordered the Pho Haven Soup, Thai green tea, Boba drink, and the spring rolls with peanut sauce. The spring rolls were my favorite and that peanut butter sauce really complimented it. I liked The portion size was decent for the price of $18, but the broth wasn't that flavorful, but after adding the cilantro (and a side of chili seasoning which wasn't a lot for .75 extra), and a copious amount of Sriracha enhanced it. It very clean, modern, and beautifully designed with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The drinks are delicious and thoughtfully made, complementing the meal perfectly. And the pho? Outstanding. The broth tastes incredibly fresh and homemade, the noodles are cooked just right, and the toppings are fresh, crisp and flavorful. Everything feels high quality and made with care. This is my new standard for what pho should taste like. My compliments, to the chef. I travel internationally a lot, and would pit this pho up against any establishment I've been to. It's more than just another Vietnamese restaurant in Memphis, you can tell there was thought and passion that went into the menu, the space, just everything. The staff is lovely, their isn't one thing on the menu I've tried that hasn't met the mark of 'simply amazing', and Memphis is lucky to have such a fantastic restaurant. Better bubble tea. First I have to compliment the staff they are so friendly and helpful it made the first experience a pleasure. Now let me get to the food the spring rolls were amazing and if you're like me I am all about the peanut sauce so ask for extra because it's delicious! I had the Pho Tai Nam it was very good and the brisket mmmmmm melt in your mouth it was great. I also had the Vietnamese coffee a little different than traditional but very good and definitely just as strong. I hope as they continue their journey they will grow the menu to include vermicelli read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would . I was excited about the grand opening . I arrived and was not greeted nor told how to go about dining in . After about 10 mins of standing being completely disregarded I finally set down, hoping that maybe they were just busy. As my family and I set for about 20 mins or so still no one came to greet us or even tell us about how to order or even bring water. After noticing that a few tables had ordering tablets on them , I grabbed a tablet from the table next to us . 20 mins had past and still no one came to our table to greet us or give water . I eventually asked the slim guy behind the counter for water . Which he was also visibly avoiding us . After ordering on the tablet it took another 30 mins before we got our food . The food itself was ok . There was nothing special about it . The noodles were clumped together, the broth was greasy and unflavorful . In fact my wife threw up once we got home from it being too greasy . Safe to say we won't be back . Honestly did not feel welcome to begin with . read more

Among our party of 6 we got spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken pho, pho nam (brisket) and ribeye pho. Plus one Thai tea. If I knew more about pho I could be more specific...but for this review I'll just overuse the word delicious. Service was quick and attentive, portions were plentiful. This is my first review ever for any establishment and I hope it's my last. I don't mean to shed a negative light on this place but I will share my experience today. As a first timer, you walk in somewhere and assume there's a host/hostess. This place is different. You seat yourself and somebody comes to you. That's fine. We sit and maybe 15 minutes pass nobody tends to us. After waiting I flag one of the waitresses down asking how to order. She says "We should've gave you a tablet." Okay. No problem. We get the tablet and place the order. It's a new concept compared to other places where you just look down at a menu with descriptions of what you're ordering. Cool. I place my order I got 2 bowls of pho and an order of spring rolls. Maybe 5-10 minutes pass we get the food. I take a bite out of the spring roll and assumed it was just shrimp but there was another strip of meat. I only take one small bite keep in mind and ask a waitress what type of meat there is and she told me it was pork. Because of my religious beliefs, pork is forbidden under my dietary restrictions so I place another order after the waitress explained that I should've clicked the picture to look at the description. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but regardless nobody explained that. I eat the pho. It's alright compared to other places. I finish and click to call somebody over to pay. I ask the waitress if she could deduct the first order of spring rolls because I just took a small bite and sent it back. She walks off and comes back with a google translation that says "whatever I order I have to pay for." After reading that, I gave her an explanation telling her it's not about paying an extra $6, it's about the principle of just adhering to the standard at any restaurant. If I would've went to any franchise, no questions asked they just send it back and remove it from the total. I got an order of 2 spring rolls, took a small bite of one and gave it back to her. She comes back and magically the first order disappears from the tablet screen total. My order was just under $50 and I gave her a $20 tip because it's really not her fault. She probably just told me what the management told her. And I'm not here to exclusively play the race card but a white couple sat down, got a tablet immediately, and got their food within minutes. It's laughable. This review is for the management. Maybe others come in after me and they have excellent service but here in America, there is standard. You use that standard to keep first timers coming back. Place is clean tho... I'll give them that. read more
