SERVICE: not bad but when we asked to substitute tofu soup for salad the waiter said "impossible, it's $8 and a large portion". We understood that it was another menu item so we asked can you just bring us a smaller portion he said, No! So, he brought out the Katsu Chicken and Rice without salad. PORTIONS: good size portion for your money FOOD: it was ok, seafood noodle bowl had artificial seafood. I would have preferred real seafood but that's my preference. Luckily my credit card notified me days later of the $18 tip that they decided to give themselves. Luckily my bank is handling it all and disputing the transaction. I got the bun thit nuong(noodle salad bowl with pork and shrimp. I didnt expect much being from California and vietnamese I had my fair share of good vietnamese food but it was surprisingly really good and a healthy portion too l. I usually feel hungry after ordering this item but I felt satisfied but it wasn't too much or too heavy. Fast service ,clean . Especially for 1 in the am after getting off work late. Came in 4/3/18 @ approximately 740pm. 2 staff members barely cared to greet us as we seated ourselves however, they did manage to ask us if we were two to eat there . After waiting for 5 minutes with no menues yet or even been askes what we would like to drink a couple walk in with a newborn in a car seat, they sat down and immediatly both staff members greated them as one of the two came over to their table with two menues immediately. Best Pho in Tacoma! I love the ambience, the staff is amazingly welcoming and waiting time is so short. Me and my mom have been going here quite a few times already. I've been to a lot of Pho cafes around our area but nothing comes close to this Pho cafe. I always order their Chicken Pho or Pho Ga and their Green Tea Bubble Tea which is also delicious. Just putting this out there and general knowledge I feel that everyone should know. Best Chicken Pho and Pork Chops in the Tacoma Area for a Pho restaurant. Their chicken pho isn't made with beef broth like every other place in Tacoma. Overall I've eaten at a good 10+ restaurants that serve pho and Pho Ever is the way to go. The pork chops aren't the traditional lemon grass ones, but more of a sweet onion. It's the biggest in Tacoma and the best in my opinion. Service is great. Really clean establishment. Other Pho bowls are alright and are in good portions, fried Rice is alright. Banh Mi is a bit greasy, but still taste good, American appetizers are a bit overly salted and mostly batter, and bubble tea taste like nothing. read more

For me it was 11pm and I was hungry after shift so I headed in for a nice big bowl of Pho. The wait staff was really friendly and I was able to score a tofu sprig roll which they make to order! Yes the staff isnt the that attentive but the pho thats served probably outshines that. Soup base has the perfect amount of saltiness and the noodles are perfectly blanched. The special spicy pho is so good! When I lived in north tacoma I would drive the 15 minutes to get pho here. The price is slightly higher than some other local places, but that spicy pho is so incredible. Also you can order a side of kimchi for super cheap and it's an incredibly generous amount. There was a child in the dining room!! front is just as bad the waitresses arguing didn't get a menu until 20 minutes after i sat down. Didn't get water. I love this place! I could probably eat here everyday! I am a meat eater - but in moderation. I love tofu & their tofu pho can come fresh or cooked & they even will do it in beef or vegetable broth! This is my favorite pho place around here! The fact that they're open until 4am most nights is a huge bonus too. The soups are all amazing with lots of meat. The spring rolls are so fresh and loaded with carrots and cucumber which is a nice change of pace from the ordinary shrimp, lettuce, noodle spring rolls. The egg rolls are good too. Of course, I always get a bubble tea to finish the meal, which are amazing too. Besides all the food, the place is always clean, the staff always super attentive and nice. First off let me say that I've been coming to this place since they've opened back in 2012. Yesterday evening I went there to have dinner and I had experienced the worst customer service I've ever experience there. A lady went up to go pay for her meal and asked her why the so-called manager not even the owner she's the manager overcharged her the manager then told her that this is her restaurant and she can run it anyway she wants to and for her to get out and she's kicking her out. Another man went up with his wife to try to talk to the manager and just advise her that she's being very unprofessional and very rude to the customer. The manager then told the man that it was not his business and he could leave if he didn't like it this is her restaurant and she runs it anyway she wants to. I then proceeded to get up from my table without even eating my food and advised her that due to her being unprofessional I also will be leaving and will pay for my food but I would like to speak with the manager, or the owner because I know she was not the owner of the restaurant I've been coming here for so long. She then proceeded to call the police on me and say that I refuse to pay for my meal when I had $100 bill in my hand That she saw. I then told her I would be happy to pay her soon as I got the owners information so I could speak with them about all of this she then refused again so I paid for my meal went outside remembered that I forgot my keys at my table went back in and she was talking about me in to all of the other customers who are in the restaurant. I will never get my business here again and I suggest everybody else to stay away from this racist restaurant read more

Pho was delicious, particularly the beef broth. The bean sprouts and basils were a bit sad looking-wilted and sparse. Bubble shake was ok, I ordered the thai tea shake. I had better around town. The servers were very nice, but during lunch it got so busy they had a hard time keeping up with orders. I plan on visiting again to see if I get a different experience. First thing I noticed was the new menu since the last time I came here over a year ago. The food was terrible. My friend ordered yakisoba (noodle dish like chow mein) and the server brought her plate out that had stir fried pork and veggies and NO NOODLES! Then we bring it to her attention and she said the cook forgot and then she brings out a plate of cold noodles and expects my friend to mix it in with the rest of her food, which is already cold. My other friend ordered 2 gyoza appetizers and short ribs. The short ribs looked like they had sliced in half leaving the meat super thin. I ordered 2 items just to be sure I had something to eat in case I didn't like their chinese food. I ordered almond chicken and specifically asked how it was prepared to make sure it was what I wanted. She assured me it was deep fried with gravy and topped with almonds. My plate arrives and it looks like sweet and sour chicken with pineapple chunks and bell peppers. Well, they had one more shot to please me- chicken wings and fries. I figured it was simple enough to not mess up. Chicken wings looked old and smelled like they were fried in old oil. First and last time at this place. The woman said that it doesn't say vermicelli on the order so I rechecked my order history and it was specifically said vermicelli on the order. First, this review is for the new Pho Ever in Gig Harbor. My wife and I were craving some salty noodly goodness and I decided to try this place since it opened a few days ago. The plan was for me to get two to-go bowls of flank steak pho and a pair if fresh rolls. My first observation was that the floor was slippery. Given that this place has been open all of a week I don't understand that. Also, the pretty teenage girl at the till was wearing high-waisted pants; what's up with that??? And the teenage guy didn't know anything and only wanted to talk with the girl. Anyway, the fresh rolls were just OK although they were selected from about fifty in a cooler. The broth of the pho wasn't very hot, or very flavorful, and the steak had HUGE streaks of fat in it. And the little baggies of sprouts, basil and (3) slices of jalapeno were very small. The menu is pretty impressive for a hole-in-the wall pho joint and I look forward to getting into it more deeply. But I doubt I'll be revisiting the pho. read more

I called and ordered chicken teriyaki from this place at least twice a week for work. So tonight I called before I leave home like always so by the time I get there it will be ready. So when I got there and went to the register and pay. The cashier turned around to grab my order but she realized she gave my order to the lady that just walk out. As she processed my card payment, she ran out to go grab my order from the lady. The other cashier tell me your order not ready. In my head I knew they gave my order to the other lady. First cashier came back in with my order from the other lady that she went to grab it back from their car. They brought it in to the kitchen and told me the chef will cook me a new one. If they didn't bring that bag into the kitchen I would believe them. But they brought the bag back. After a couple minutes bought it back out in a new bag and give it to me. I asked to look at it and see the box was dirty n ripped like someone open it or touch it already. I ask for my refund and it will be the last time I'm there. I took my daughters to eat pho for my youngests daughter's 13 birthday. The Pho had bugs floating in it, I noticed mine first and only saw the one at first so I asked for another soup thinking that maybe it was just the one it appeared to be a flying bug, it can happen, upon careful review there was more than one and my daughter found some in hers also. I told them we didn't want it any more. My youngest daughter ordered the sweet and sour wing plate and since hers was covered in a thick red sauce she didn't wants hers either. I told the waitress that I would pay for the fresh spring rolls we ordered because we ate them, however I feel as though those should have been free. The other waitress was insisting I pay the whole tab. I told her no I'm only paying for what we ate after going back and forth the other waitress said just pay for the rolls and I did.
