I have been trying different place out for pho around Dayton. Never quite the same as San Fransisco, but I always strive to find a good spot. This has been opened not too long. Decor is nice, nothing fancy, and it was clean. Came on a cold weeknight with a friend. Not busy, ordered beef meatball pho. Took about 5 min to come out. Nice and hot, the broth was not the most flavorful I've had in the area (another spot near Fairfield commons takes that), but nice and hot, didn't skimp on the extras to add in there. For a quick place to sit and grab a decent bowl of pho, this does the trick, though not my favorite spot in Dayton for pho. As a side note, they do have a few things other than pho, but if you're not a fan of soup and looking for other Vietnamese food, I would try another restaurant. read more

This was my second time trying Pho District. The first time we did carryout and although the person at the counter tried to help us choose the right menu items, we went completely satisfied with what we received. This time I decided to keep it simple: Bo Tai pho, seafood egg rolls and taro bubble tea. The pho was delicious, especially after I doctored it up at the condiment bar (I like mine spicy. The seafood egg rolls were surprisingly good. The bubble milk tea though. . . Boba was either overcooked or left to sit too long because it just kind of disintegrated in my mouth. It was the same on my first visit. And I really NEED them to get it right, because there aren't a lot (any?) of places to get a good bubble milk tea in Kettering. I'd love to be able to pop in here while shopping at the Greene for a milk tea. read more

The food was very good, just not for me. The crab ragoons were phenomenal. The mango smoothie was 10/10. The food is kind of expensive. The service was great, the gentlemen working the register and serving food was very polite. The food here is actually really yummy. I've been looking for good pho in Dayton and this tops other ones in the area. I also ordered spring rolls and a grilled pork bánh mì, which had pâté. Both were delicious. I was a little disappointed that they weren't seating people within 30 minutes of closing and only took to go orders in that time. Very polite staff that helped us through ordering as we had never eaten Vietnamese food before. I got the pork banh mi sandwich and my wife got the roasted chicken noodle dish. Overall the food was tasty but my sandwich was lacking a bit on meat. My wife liked her dish but said it was slightly off putting having cold noodles with warm chicken, but I don't know if this is how it is supposed to be served. This is kinda like a fast food pho place. You place your order, when it's ready you pick it up and sit down and eat. They have plastic utensils and all the sauces that you add to pho. It was very fluid. I enjoyed my meal. Good flavors. I don't really have a complaint about this place. They have bubble tea as well which was good. I had the Taro. Great lunch spot! The pho is super flavorful. The summer rolls are my daughters go to. I'm partial to a grilled pork banh mi and it's one of the better ones I've had! My only downside would be service sometimes seems a bit slow considering the lack of other customers but we aren't usually in a hurry so we don't mind. Love this place! The pho, the grilled chicken rice noodle bowl and grilled chicken rice plate, tofu summer rolls and the crab Rangoon are so delicious! Run of the mill Pho. Broth was tasty but nothing spectacular. Summer rolls were quite good but the sauce was gritty. Bubble tea was very good. Overall, mid-grade and over priced. The restaurant was clean and organized but not social distancing friendly. Service was good and the food came fast. I'd eat it again but not as a first choice. Great drinks but didn't appreciate that they added $2 to my bill that was $12 after I left meaning they gave themselves a tip. My bill was $12.74 i didn't add a tip to the card purchase and I get a notice from my card that I was charged 12.74. And $2 was added. My card shows me details of purchase. That's so wrong to add your own tip to my credit card. I can go get pho and bubble tea else where. I don't mind leaving a tip but to just add it yourself to my purchase that is all sorts of unprofessional. read more

This was our first visit to 'Pho District', and we hope to give it a second chance, as we like to have options beyond tacos and burgers. While to food was decent, there were aspects of our visit that fell short of what we expected based on the reviews. The service -grant it was later of a Friday evening was slow, but to be fair, the cooking area seemed under staffed, and the staff that was working seemed to be at their wits end. When our food did arrive, we weren't sure what some of the sauces were and how we were supposed to use them, also the food wasn't hot. As they seemed understaffed, the dining area was dirty, tables not wiped and garbage was overflowing. Sauces and condiments at the self serve bar were empty and the area was also dirty, once again I think this is a result of staffing, and not lack of care. Overall, the food, tho cold was good, and cleanliness aside, we will give this place a second chance, and perhaps try dining earlier in the evening of on another day. We ordered two chicken Pho , beef vermicelli , veggie rolls and regular egg rolls. We were extremely disappointed in the food. The Pho was flavorless. I feel like the other reviews lied about the quality. The noodle portion was appropriate, but the shredded chicken tasted like was cooked in only hot water . I had the beef steak pho and crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon was the best I've had anywhere, full of scallion cream cheese, and the sweet chili sauce was wonderful. The pho was amazingly flavorful and you can add your own chili and hoisin sauce to taste from the large bottles they keep near the utensils. I'm not ashamed to say I slurped down my whole large bowl. Will definitely come back soon when I want some more tasty pho! read more

We went for some hot soups on very cold day during 1st week of November. Soups were total disappointment , I don't know, maybe it's because I was comparing them to ramen soups. But regardless soups were lackluster in flavor , broth tasted very sweet, shredded chicken tasted as if it was cooked and soaked in the plain water then added to the soup bowl. The grilled chicken and rice meal was wonderful, egg fried perfectly, chicken very flavorful. I've had Pho District 3 times. The first time was shortly after they opened. I was pretty disappointed because for the price they asked for, the portion wasn't that much and I remember only getting ONE cilantro. The second time was a little better. And now the third time, it was actually through doordash as a delivery. It was so good! I like that they give you a bowl container so you can just pour the broth in. I ordered a Pho Bo Tai and a soft roll. There were plenty of beef slices, perfect portion, wish it had a little more condiments but overall, I liked it the best out of my other two experiences. Just opened October 2018. We needed a good Vietnamese restaurant in this area. Food is plentiful and delicious. I consider the sign of a good international restaurant is the number of locals eating there. There were a lot eating here. There's a little bit of a wait but the food is prepared to order so it's extra hot and good. I anticipate this place will so very well. read more

I stopped by here as a new lunch option and as a lover of all noodles. When I walked in, I was excited to see all the menu options and begin my order. As I got my order of pho with thin sliced steak, my heart sank at what I experienced. The noodles were clumped together and felt like they were in just a massive sticky ball. The meat was very bland and not seasoned at all. The broth was good, but couldn't compensate for the condition of the noodles. Also was disappointed in the lack of options for the Boba tea. The place was really nice and clean. This was honestly my favorite Viet restaurant that I've been at, and frankly the only one that I like. We were surprised to find this place in the midst of a Western mall area. Noodle soup is nice, excellent service.

This place is a hidden gem. Everything we got here, including the spring rolls, banh Mi, and short rib, was perfect.

I was suspicious of this place at first, since it's at a mall. But the Pho tastes So Good! on point! Their pho broth is really great. I didn't like that they served fewer greens with the pho than I'm used to, but they are happy to give more upon request. Their Banh Mi sandwiches are really good, too. The staff is very nice. My girlfriend and I came here and she purchased the Pineapple Bubbletea- and spit out a literal shard of glass after taking a sip from the straw. Outrageous. I get it, sometimes plastic packaging cane SOMETIMES get lost- but this was GLASS. I was refunded for the food that I purchased and they remade my drink, but this is unacceptable in bubble tea. If she hadn't felt it in her mouth, it would have gone into her stomach and that's unacceptable. read more

The pho itself is delicious with a rich and flavorful broth. Their other noodle dishes are also a great display of authentic flavors and fresh vegetables. Their meat, however, is of disappointingly low quality. I have tried their beef, pork, and chicken. All of these meats were extremely dry, fatty, and/or laden with gristle. Additionally, my friend ordered a pork sandwich and said the pork tasted oddly of fish. I myself tried the sandwich and it did! Weird. Their flavors are fabulous but their meat is where I draw the line. read more

I am Vietnamese so I know exactly how Vietnamese food should taste. I had bún tht nng-ch giò (#21), it was very delicious. I love it.

Awesome Vietnamese food, and the level of service is outstanding. It is also a super clean restaurant. My favorite is the pho and beef soup, but they have great banh mi (sandwich) options as well. The greatest part of Vietnamese food is that not only is it delicious, but it is also very full of nutrients and is sure to fill you up. Highly recommended!! read more

The bubble tea (original) I got was really good. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming.

Great option for a quick delicious meal before a movie. I got the steak bowl & devoured it! Reasonably priced too.
