Pho Dac Biet
Ailun H.

Pho De Nhat is another Vietnamese spot with a small menu focused mainly in pho, plus a couple of bun options. The interior is pretty plain with a cafeteria-style set up. My friend and I dropped by for lunch on Friday to try this newer Viet place in the area. PHO DAC BIET - 15.99 This is their signature pho, typically the option with the most meat and variety. It's usually all beef cuts, so I was surprised to find some chicken my bowl. They don't skimp on garnish either -- it was spread across nearly the entire bowl, leaving little room for additional toppings. The broth was clean and savory without being overpowering. The noodles were on the wider side and had a nice texture. There also weren't many noodles, which made it feel like a more "lower-carb" lunch. The meats were standard, though a bit fatty overall. I could tell the meatballs were homemade since they didn't have that cookie-cutter, commercial taste or texture, but I didn't love the spices and seasonings used. Overall, the pho at Pho De Nhat is fine -- not the worst, but not exceptional. My friend ordered the bun bo hue and thought it was just okay as well. Sadly, he also wasn't a big fan of the homemade meatballs.

Simple but delicious menu

Wonderful little place with a simple menu: pho. They don't need to do much else because they have it expertly dialed in. You can taste the subtle star anise flavor and the savory beef broth with no one flavor too overpowering. I got the pho dac biet which had rare beef, flank, and meatballs. The meatballs were excellent. They were handmade and just melted in your mouth. Most of the pho I've had in the past had firm almost rubbery meatballs but not these. Pho De Nhat is located in a shopping center on Dequindre and 11 Mile. It's surprisingly big inside and there's quite a few tables and booths. It's a family run business and the everyone working here was kind and efficient.

Fairly new restaurant with some of the best pho I've tried. They use wider noodles than I'm used to but it was so delicious. Super generous portions as well. There was enough meat to have with every last bite of the noodles! Highly recommend.

Simple pho. With all the herbal trimmings.

Not sure how long this place been open but found it on tik tok and stopped by in between meetings. Fast service and had some Herbs that normally don't see (that goes with the dish) at other viet spots

I ordered the pho brisket and flank and my friend ordered brisket and beef . So so so good

So excited to try this place. Opened early great food service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend . Can't wait to come back . Thank you Pho De Nhat!

#8 - Pho Tai Gau (Rare Beef and Brisket Pho)

This new Pho eatery replaced one of my favorite Thai places. But it was a nice surprise. I got the #8 - Pho Tai Gau (rare beef and brisket pho). A little Sriracha spiced it right up and made for the perfect way to warm up on a cold rainy day. I would recommend to anyone eating in the area.

Chicken noodle soup

Tasted the noodles like traditional Vietnamese soup! Fresh noodles and the liquid juices and no smell of strong ingredients. The owner and cooker so nice and friendly

Pho and seafood boil in one place is a win win! When you can choose one, get both!…read more The clams cooked with lemon grass and jalapeños was one of our favorites! The clams tasted super fresh. You must try the salt and pepper squid! On the menu it says there's only certain days for certain dishes so be on the look out for that. The staff were super friendly. If you've ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant in Cali or FL the vibes are vibin' IYKYK.

Been wanting to try this place for many years and had time to go finally…read more I didn't hate no love it. It was more mid for me. I did enjoy the smoothie with boba. I miss have smoothies/boba drinks made this way. I did like the huge menu because there are so many choices of options. I did like the scallion lobster although it was messy to eat. The flavor reminded me that that canned chop suey I ate as a child. I felt their prices were kind of high for the area. Just my personal option. I wasn't a huge fan of the pho broth, but I didn't hate it either. I'm indifferent bout it. But my noodles were very clumped together and hard to break apart to eat them in the soup. I would have preferred more white onion and not more green in the soup. The meat choice (brisket sliced beef) was ok. The price for the bowl was reasonable. The crab pho was not worth the price. This was over priced I feel. Maybe I would give them another try and try their traditional plates. The chicken quarters looked good and so did the seafood boils. Service was kinda slow. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and greet us. We got water and then we wait a little more time for a waiter. Overall the service was not bad. Our waiter was pretty cool. Restaurant wasn't dirty but there were some flies buzzing.
