I have to say I was not impress by this place. The food taste ok, service was really slow. They got my order wrong 3 times, servers never came back to check on us. My go to Pho place in Milwaukee! The pho is fantastic! I get the large pho special. It has tender beef and steak with authentic Viet meatballs. You can taste the broth has been made with love and it's very flavorful! The broth is not water down like other places around! The beef and steak is not dry, but it is tender and marinated! They have lots of authentic Vietnamese dishes and drinks you can't find around the area. When you see Vietnamese people all around the restaurant, you know this is the place to be! Ever since finding this place we go out of our way to eat here often. Love the pho, it's so delicious and fresh tasting with the added basil, jalapeños and sprouts. The portion is large and they always provide an extra little bowl for my three year old son to share with me. We do always get the egg rolls too which are tasty. My husband gets the grilled pork sandwich (bunh mi) and raves about it every time. The staff is super friendly and this is just an overall pleasant place to go to! read more

My hubby & I went to grab a quick dinner on our way home. Literally 5:00pm not one table at the restaurant.. a few take out and multiple people working. We walked in, they told us to sit anywhere. We sat down one of the guys brought us menus. They gave us about 2 mins to look at the menu before asking if we were ready to order.. so I just ordered the A1 which are the grilled pork spring rolls as our appetizers while we look over the menu I also Asked for some hot tea while the guy walked away.. as he got half way from our table he started cursing at us in Vietnamese.. basically saying like wtf.. F.U.. still no other customers.. took ten mins to get hot tea.. figured when he dropped off the tea we will place our entrees .. NOPE... when he put the tea cups and pot on the table.. he just walked away as if we didn't exist.. 20 mins passed.. still no spring rolls, our dinner entrees not taken yet and the best part... NO CUSTOMERS, NO NEW TABLES.. NO NEW TAKE OUT ORDER... just a rude miserable unhappy employee who got mad, cursed out his only customers thinking we wouldn't understand all because we weren't ready to order on his time.. never again will we step foot in there.. I can't wait for the new Vietnamese restaurant up the street to open up... I'm sure they'll treat customers better then this place.. We used to eat here often, now there's not a low enough scale for how bad the place has become. No cars in the parking lot during the dinner hour should have been a huge red flag. The place was deserted, no one came to eat the whole time we were there. The beef broth egg noodle "mystery meat" soup was inedible. Not to mention how small their soup bowls have become and yet the prices haven't shrunk. Spent most of our time swatting flies buzzing around our table. I think the Pho Ga and the Spring rolls are very authentic and the portions are generous. Admittedly, the English competence is poor, but I have no complaint with that as long as I make sure that my order is understood. We are a nation of immigrants and that's enriching. Well decided to stop by on friends recommendation. I likely would not visit again but don't let my review deter you. The veggi egg roll was good but tasted like it was fried in the same oil with fish. The pork wrap is delicious. Nice fresh. Really fresh. I had Pho 2. The meat was way too fatty for me. The broth was really nice and if you add the jalapeño for kick it's quite good. Aside from the Meath the veggies were nice and fresh, great portion size. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Sigh. I passed up several other Viet restaurants en route to this place and am sorely disappointed. I ordered the Mango Salad w/ Shrimp as appetizer, Pho, and a Mung Bean Milk Tea. The Mung Bean tea was served immediately and tasted great! My major gripe with the milk tea is with the boba. The bobas were slightly hard, stuck together, and had no taste whatsoever. Having recently returned from a trip to Cali where every place had perfectly chewy honey boba, it was saddening. Next, they brought out the mango salad. I was expecting something refreshing, but what they handed me was a plate of shredded unripe green mango and tiny crumbled up pieces of dried shrimp. No where on the menu did it mention that it was dried shrimp - and in the past I've had mango salad with tiger shrimp so this was sorely disappointing (ESPECIALLY for the hefty $9.99 price tag) The only redeeming quality of this place was the pho. I'm not a pho connoisseur by any means but the flavor of the broth definitely was flat in comparison to some other places I've been to. There were no hints of star anise whatsoever. That said, it was still hearty and filling. I did run across the same issue that another reviewer had. The server asked me if I could tip in cash and that they don't get the tips when paying by card. This was my first time dining here and it will most definitely not be my last. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant, seated and water was on the table before I could even remove my purse. Exceptional service! I order a large pho with rare steak and meatballs. The broth was flavorful, meat was tender and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I can still smell that divine pho now, so aromatic and addictive. The thai iced tea was delicious, too! The best pho I had since I moved to Wisconsin. Reminds me of the West coast. The broth was authentic and really delicious. The egg rolls are definitely worth the visit alone. My Pho was cooked perfectly! So much flavor. I added some chili paste and it was nicely spiced. My wife had some of the exact same rice before and it wasn't the same this time but still very good. Service was quick and fast. Now the bad is that the table smelled like it was washed with a dirty rag. The waiter was so impatient and hurried us to order. You have to go get your own containers for left overs and don't bother waiting for the bill just go get it. They ran out of noodles for another family so they left. As for us the food made up for it all! You know diversity has to be understood and not every food joint is going to be exactly how you want it to be, so I kind of understand their personality differences here so it was OK. read more

The food was good but I'm taking a star off because the restaurant was so dirty! The floor was so filthy, my shoes were actually sliding around on the grease. The servers were attentive and we never waited long for anything. We started with the spring rolls, which were fresh and the dipping sauce was tasty, but they were missing all the fresh herbs inside which was disappointing. The star of the show was the pho noodle bowl. We got the shrimp one because we were a little leery of the meat options (tripe and tendon were too adventurous for my husband). The broth was phenomenal! I had the lemongrass chicken stir fry, which was yummy; I would definitely order that dish again. My stir fry came with a bowl of broth which honestly might have been the best part of my meal; it warmed my soul! I was so excited to eat and sadly I was extremely disappointed . All my food came in cold. I was missing my beverage and my side of rice for my meal. Me and my employees couldn't even eat the food we got because it just wasn't pleasant to eat even after trying to heat it up.
