Great food. Not many people at the restaurant, but dashers coming in and out all the time. Spicy and warm. Just what we needed.

Bo lu lac- "Shaken Cubed Beef"
Stephanie L.

*DISCLAIMER*: This review is for people like me who go to pho restaurants and DON'T order pho. Why go to a pho restaurant and not order pho? I'm from Arizona- where it's 100°+ throughout the summer- it's always too hot for pho!! Although it is too hot for pho, I still crave Vietnamese food. If you've read this far, you might as well keep reading.. One of my go to's is bo luc lac- also known as "shaken beef." The first time I dined in at Pho Buddy, at the end of May, was the first time I had their bo luc lac. It was FANTASTIC; tender and seasoned well! Surely one of the best bo luc lacs I've had! Yesterday was my 2nd or 3rd time back. While still DELICIOUS, it was not nearly as tender as it was the first time I had it. Absolutely still worth getting! It comes with a little cup of pho broth. The drinks are excellent as well! The smoothies are very fresh. The salted cheese iced coffee is to DIE FOR, don't judge a drink by its name! As mentioned in previous reviews, Pho Buddy is open for dine in- although only one other couple and one gentleman opted to do so during my boyfriend's and I's dinner. Doordash orders were steady. The tables are covered in thick paper, like the kind kids do their school posters on. All silverware, plates, and cups are plastic or styrofoam. At the end of the meal the waitress throws everything away. Pho Buddy appears to be family owned, support small businesses and check it out! It is definitely one of my favorite spots in COS!

So this place is great if your introvert. No contact with anyone. It's self serve style. You order your food at the desk and they just bring it out to you.. you go to the area and get your own soy sauce, Sriracha hoisin sauce, your own forks and water, napkins, etc. Boba isn't good it is water down, so not a huge fan of it but the pho does taste good. Spicy style is just a bunch of chili oil in the broth everything is served to go containers as well They do expect you to clean up after yourself, so no tip is needed.

Combination pho. For someone who's been feeling under the weather the broth did exactly what I needed it to. Over all an average pho place however slightly pricey . Personally not a fan of the sauce provided with the spring rolls but that's just personal preference. Service was good and everyone was nice and respectful. Having been to some incredible pho establishments I wouldn't recommend this as a must go but if you need a late night pick me up I don't think this is a bad spot to stop and eat. The boba is also average. Made with powders and the boba was slightly hard and chewy.

Slimy over cooked noodles.

Their vermicelli noodles are disgusting and extremely low effort. All you get is slimy extremely over cooked noodles that melt and break apart upon grabbing with a utensil, barely any lettuce, and over sauced and sweet meat. Avoid the vermicelli plates they are not even closed to Vietnamese classic vermicelli. They don't even put other vegetables besides lettuce. Not worth 15$

Me and my girlfriend were on the lookout for our go-to pho place and BOOM we've found it! We absolutely love the pho here, rich broths and authentic tastes. If you want GOOD SOUP That feels like a hug and warms your soul you definitely gotta try Pho buddy!! And the Boba drinks are rich in flavor, creamy, and so delicious! Highly recommend if you're looking for Vietnamese cuisine that doesn't disappoint. Also Service here is awesome, Very polite and friendly workers, fast service too! The ambience is cozy and chill :)

I am Absolutely blown away by this place. I live in this neighborhood and we don't have quality restaurants in the area compared to the gentrification up in north town... This place is in its own class of food. I will eat here as long as I am in the area and will bring all my people here as long as it's open!! The fried egg rolls are unique but delicious...if you're into a crunchy and savory egg roll, you'll love them. I ordered pho tai also. One large order was enough for my roommate, and me too- he has a huge appetite. I order shrimp fried rice for a next day leftover lunch. I can't imagine how good this is in the restaurant when it's piping hot! The fried rice does not have chunks of egg or veggies like a lot of Chinese friend rices. It's just the rice, cooked in seasoning with the protein(s) of your choice- I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about the rice...I've never had better fried rice- and I showed up at 930 pm(30 min before closing) and got incredible service and food!

Delicious, Pho 15. Pho Dac Biet

Rainy day and needing some comfort food. I've had Pho from all over the world and this place I rate slightly above average. I order spring rolls, squid, pho biet, and a honeydew melon smoothie. The outside looks like a horrible area, the inside gives a hole in the wall with trendy music. From the looks it's nothing special. Seems to be ran by two young ladies. Very polite and nice when asking about the menu. Spring rolls were two rolls, cut in half with shrimp inside. Normal appetizer and nothing out of the norm. Taste was good and about the same as most Pho restaurants. Squid was breaded and slightly spicy. It was cooked perfect, and seemed like it may be fresh (being inland makes it a surprise). I recommend this to anyone. Pho was simple all the fixings on the side. Meat cooked in the broth and meatballs cut in half due to the big size of them. Good amount of meat and noodles. I'm not a fan of all the green onions tho. It was very good but wish maybe they had a seafood Pho on the menu. Overall, I will come back and recommend for anyone that wants good comfort food.

Pho at home!

Pho at home? Say no more! First time grub hubbing and it came so fast!!! The food was so hot still. Now, let's get to the food. I got my family bo tai pho. It was soooooo yummy! I also got a bahn mi for my husband. I forgot to take a picture before it was gone. It was delicious! I can't wait to go and sit down here. Everything was so perfectly packaged for easy use! If they pay this much attention to to go orders, I can only imagine what it is like when you dine there. Without a doubt, we will be coming! I heard that the boba here is amazing as well. Which, of course my kids love and are dying to try. I'm completely and utterly satisfied with my dinner choice tonight. Thank goodness for being lazy for once. Am I right?!

Hi Linda, The banh mi sandwich is 4.95/each before tax. Unfortunately we do not have the pate for it.

I stumbled upon Viet's on a whim during a rough patch at work in the Springs and let me tell you, it became my go-to self-care spot. The #58 (pho tai gau sach) is life-changing, and actually the only pho restaurant I've been to that offers this meat combo. The broth is so rich and flavorful it tastes like it's been simmering since the dawn of time. It's hearty, healing, and everything you need on any day, good or bad. Just a heads-up though, you will not be deceived by a small size. A small bowl of pho here is *huge* and full of noodles, broth, meat and toppings, which they don't skimp on at all. It's like they knew I was having a bad day and were like, "Give this girl all the brisket and tripe she can handle." Only con is that it's far from Denver, but like all great loves, some things are worth the distance. When I'm in the Springs, this place is non-negotiable. 11/10 would eat until food coma again.

I enjoy pho beef combination which consists of brisket, meat ball, tendon, beef slice in perfectly blend well beef broth. My friend ordered Pho mixed seafood. Seafood based broth is tasty mixed well with fish, shrimp, squid, fish balls. Good size of fresh Thai basil & bean sprout for added on. Service is attentive by well trained waiters. Clean utensils & the seasoning tray. The restaurants offered booth & regular seats. Nothing fancy, but clean & bright. Noticed many Vietnamese family enjoy their meal together. I am recommended Viet's restaurant to others & will come back for more. Give 4 stars because I am Asian who like my pho served extra hot on temp. But they came out lukewarm. I might have to ask for extra hot next time.

Upon arrival, it was very crowded and very different from your typical pho restaurant. They played loud dance/house/techno music with lights flashing. The restaurant itself is small, probably has less than 15 tables. It took us awhile to get our water and for someone to take out order. We knew right away that our lunch experience will take a long time. We ordered spring rolls, their chicken wings naked, and their pho. I was not impressed with their spring rolls. It was all rice paper and was small. Didn't think it was worth the $8. Our pho broth itself was pretty decent but the meat that came with it was far and few. Don't expect to get a lot with your portion. My son left there hungry. If you want pho, I would try some other places. But if you want a little bit of everything, I suppose this is the right place to be. They had gyros, to wings, to pho.

I admit to being a Pho snob but this place did not disappoint. The shrimp and pork spring rolls were fresh and filled with crunchy veggies. It came out piping hot with lots of fresh veggies, lots of lime and homemade chili paste. The broth was very flavorful without being too fatty and the steak melted in your mouth. I may have found my new Pho spot and can't wait to try their wings! Also, the business partner/server Uriah was super friendly and service was top notch. TIp your servers extra this season. They work long hours to make us happy!

The wings are so big you often have the inner part of the chicken wing unseasoned and flavorless due to the size and not having any of the breading or sauce to complement it. The reason I will be coming back is the bahn mi. I had the pork belly bahn mi and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The pork belly was crisp and fatty and the whole sandwich was a delight. Service was good even though there tends to be a lot of customers come dinner time. The tables are fine but they do have that slight stickiness to them. Price wise the entrees are very cheap compared to most restaurants. I will be coming back for another bahn mi and to try some pho.

The Hot Spot seems to be under Vietnamese ownership, judging from the big Karaoke setup in the middle of the room and the surround music being Vietnamese songs. I'm sure this place becomes lively when there is a party and people take to their singing skills. But on this regular Saturday afternoon, it was not even half filled. Customers have a choice of ordering regular Vietnamese fares or be seated at a hot pot table to enjoy cooking your own food. One nice thing about The Hot Spot is that we weren't limited to 90 min or 2 hours. Could be because it was during a slow time. Food wise it was far from an elaborate hot pot experience. The broths don't have distinctive flavors from one another and there lacks a sauce station! Which is a signature hot pot spot! The meats, when brought out, especially the beef slices, tend to be on the darker hue, to me that signals less fresh. And the booth seats aren't the most comfortable. I think they make shift to turn the booth tables into hot pot compatible where the outlets are in the way of your knees (if you're tall and have long legs) or if short like me, the seats feel sunken. All in all, it was still a fun experience for AYCE hot pot, especially when not under time pressure and the staff is friendly albeit not the fastest.
