Appetizer Sampler $17.99 2 egg rolls, 2 golden triangles, 2 crab rangoons, 2 gyoza,and 2 blanket shrimps.

Thai smile is a restaurant that will definitely put a smile on your face. The service was excellent and attentive, and the place is very clean. We order the sampler plate and everything on there was fried to perfection and the dipping sauces paired very well with all the items. We also had the Pad See U dish with beef, which had a good umami flavor. For dessert we tried the fried bananas with ice cream because the mango sticky rice wasn't in season, but it was a good second choice. This is one of my family's favorite go to Thai spots in Colorado Springs and it's worth a visit.

Solid thai food and pleasantly surprised by it. The pad see ew was good flavor with nice wok hei. Green curry was yummy as well. Appetizer sampler tastes exactly like what it looks like. Mango was in season and perfectly sweet and ripe. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for thai food in Colorado Springs - best place to get it according to my friend who previously lived here. Unassuming location with a clean interior. Parking lot with plenty of spots. Service was fast and friendly.

This place has amazing food. One of the better Thai spots in town. I got the Pad Thai with Crispy Pork Belly that was a special and that was so good. I enjoyed the appetizers I got as well. Overall this place is worth visiting!

Good service and food. Open the Sunday I came at 1:20 pm. The Thai tea was well made and offered the option of coconut milk.

My hubby's favorite Thai restaurant in this area! And 2nd fave in the County! The restaurant itself is nicely kept and very clean with comfortable seating. The service is prompt and very friendly. Their lunch specials are amazing. My husband always gets the veggie delight with white rice and tofu. Today, I decided to try the L1 garlic pepper tofu. We also ordered some steamed dumplings, which came in a peanut sauce that was delicious. I'm not sure what to try next time - the peanut sauce made me think that the Massman curry would be wonderful too .

We were across the street playing miniature golf and we're looking for a close place for lunch. Thai Smile was right across the street and looked good so we gave it a try. From the moment we walked in the service was wonderful. We were the only ones dining in, but they were doing a lot of take out. Our drinks were constantly being refilled and they were great with the kids. We ordered a bunch of different things and ate family style so we could try them all. We got the steamed potstickers and the gyoza both were delicious! For the entrees we got the lunch special Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken, we also ordered the kids chicken fried rice. Both were absolutely delicious! If we lived in the area we would definitely be back. Unfortunately we are visiting from out of town and will have to wait until we come back to Colorado to visit family!

I ordered my wife the stuffed hashbrowns with no meat, there was some kind of hotdog looking meat in it. Asked for extra mushroom gravy for it......only received the basic amount. We ordered the Elvis hashbrowns.......I asked for hers to have the mushroom gravy, it had a sausage gravy, she doesn't eat pork or beef. The hashbrowns weren't crispy, they were just cooked with no brown. That always leaves an odd flavor. Her plate was supposed to have Texas toast. That was nowhere close to Texas toast, have as thick and plain flavor. Your lucky I'm giving you 2 stars considering you phone goes to voice mail every time and that's full with no way to leave a message. At least it was fairly clean inside.

Snag some street parking in Downtown Colorado Springs across from Acacia Park and mozy on into the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives favorite, Skirted Heifer. I remember watching their episode 10 years ago. I didn't even live in Colorado back then! Their claim to fame is the iconic cheese "skirt" on their burgers. The way they melt the cheese, you get this funky crispy cheesy entity around the burger resembling a skirt. On this visit, I kept it simple with the Pueblo Farmer and fries. Pueblo Farmer ($12.25) // Grass-fed beef, pueblo chilies, pepper jack cheese, & homemade guacamole on our sesame seed bun. Beefy, spicy, creamy, a perfectly balanced burger. I didn't get it skirted (I honestly was so tired from driving that I forgot), but I wouldn't change much about this burger. Damn tasty! Burgers don't come with fries so I added those on. These are thin and salty. Even though the fries are extra, they have a little sauce bar with their ketchup, ranch, and Heifer sauce to accompany it. The sauces were all great and tasted homemade! Honestly, just wish there was more seating as it's usually crowded. They do have a few outdoor stools, but it does get chilly when the sun is down. If it's good enough for Guy (Fieri...duh) it's good enough for me!

I ordered off the a la carte menu to sample several items. Biscuit and Gravy and cinnamon roll were excellent. Good bacon and 2 scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our food and the service was great. When they are not busy, their customer service is excellent. When they are super busy, their customer service is adequate. The ambience here is definitely old-school café where you can sit next to strangers at a big long tables and in the old days where farmers would come to chat with each other after working all morning. Their French toast sandwich is delicious. Their omelettes, also delicious. Bacon. Yum. Pancakes also yum. Cinnamon Rolls, OMG. The one thing consistently that I do not care for here are their hashbrowns. To the point that I try to order things that don't include them. The menu says they are golden and crispy. They are not. I have asked specifically for them to be golden and crispy. They, still, are not. I don't complain after they are brought incorrectly cooked. I don't send them back. I just don't eat them. But I have never once been here where I've been served hashbrowns that made my tummy smile in delight. They are flavorless and mushy. Slightly more solid than the consistency of mashed potatoes. The coffee is weak. Typical of many breakfast places, though.

Shuga's Favorite Cafe Tray is an order that could satisfy one's entire meal but is best when shared as a starter or if you are looking for a light meal. The Mediterranean selection with the hummus and tapenade is amazing with the coconut shrimp soup being a must try with its creamy and spiciness. Though I love the almond butter cake the most to add a little dessert to the meal. The Madame of the Pletzl is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bagel is perfectly salted and has a wonderful crunch the sandwich needs. The egg melts into the sandwich, mixing with everything it needs to. The ham is fried up to crisp it up a bit but the ham seems to be lacking flavor wise compared to everything else in the sandwich. The Cuban Mojo Sandwich also is an amazing sandwich. The pork shoulder is crisped up nicely and works so well with everything else. The winter soup was a tomato soup with some grilled cheese croutons and it is the best tomato soup I've ever had. The tomato soup isn't puréed, there are noticeable definitions in the tomatoes in the soup. The soup isn't too acidic which is the usual issue in tomato soups. The croutons really amplify this dish on to another level and I just wish there were more in my soup. I can't wait to come back here and my biggest issue will to try and order new things.
