There are many Thai food restaurants in the area and we have tried a few but as long as this one is open, I will be coming here. The staff is sweet and the food.....the food! It's small with max occupancy at 33 plus a patio. Try for yourself

C5. Massaman Curry

Quaint space tucked into a shopping center off of academy. We walked in & were seated immediately (no other customers for eat in lots of door dash orders though) It was very clean & the staff were all very friendly. We were given waters & menus right away & immediately ordered apps & drinks. Shumai, chicken Satay & cream cheese wontons. Our Apps were brought out quickly & we ordered our "Linner" entrees. The Apps- Everything was really well seasoned the sauces were light & well balanced & the chicken in the Satay had the perfect amount of curry & was so juicy & tender it wasn't dried out like a lot of Satays tend to be. Food - our respective curries were really good. I had the yellow curry with chicken medium spice no complaints so so good & I actually just at the curry itself without the rice. Daughter had the Japanese curry with udon noodles & tempura shrimp (no veggies) it was delicious very well balanced. The tempura shrimp was light & very crispy. Husband had the massaman curry & he sad it was good.

Visiting from Charlotte and we are vegans so was looking for some vegan options near by, came across this and gave it a try. We always love Thai cuisine Cz they can make vegan version of a lot of items. Masaman curry is always my fav so we ordered that and pad see ew. Masaman was good but I have had better, pad see ew was not so good. But it's good for the price and made us full. Recommend to all.

Chicken Pad Thai

Went to this Thai place with cautious approach as recent dining experiences in other places were disappointing. I've been trying to find good restaurants and really wanted to find good place to eat Pad Thai. I was bracing myself for another mediocre food but I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken and that's been probably best Pad Thai I've had. It was excellent, fresh, priced well . Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. It's a cute little restaurant. This will be my to go place for Pad Thai .

Pad Khing (stir fried ginger) chicken

So I am visiting a long time friend since Wednesday night. Fruday night, we needed Door Dash to order food. I ordered Pad Khing chicken which is ginger stir fry and comes with choice of rice and level of heat. I ordered white and medium heat. My friend ordered mixed seafood green curry. The Pad Khing chicken (medium) has good amount of heat It took about 30 minutes. My friend loved his curry but swore he ordered it with shrimp not mixed seafood.

Spring rolls with peanut sauce 5stars

Thai food FAVORITE! Best in Colo Springs for sure ! Not afraid to be spicy but I would say their 1-10 stars "spiciness scale"that YoU choose from for your dish , is pretty accurate. So many delicious options ! We love the fresh spring rolls with delicious peanut sauce! The Tom khan Gai coconut soup is so very savory. You get to choose your protein for the soup Sometime we prefer the shrimp sometimes the chicken , but we Always get sticky rice ! They offer plain sticky rice for a very reasonable fee--- sticky rice in your soup is an authentic game changer . The pad see ew noodle dish (we prefer pork ). Is a go- to favorite entree ! The texture of the wide rice noodles is so underrated and unrepresented here in the US but trust me it's a revelation. Our friend was getting poetic about the potatoes in her Massaman curry so we will try that dish next time as well . The dining room , though not large , manages to not feel overcrowded when busy . Perhaps because of the polished and serene crew making everything come out beautifully?

C3. Yellow Curry Dinner With chicken off the regular menu. Comes with cucumber salad.

I finally found a Thai place I can eat at safely! I have the cilantro gene but for me, I react like an allergy and it makes my throat and mouth burn like crazy. It's very painful. I also don't eat fish or mushrooms due to mild allergy and preference. This place has a separate vegan menu and made ZERO mistakes with my allergies. I've come to find this extremely rare in a restaurant. AND everything was delicious! I will definitely go again. My boyfriend loved his food too. He got his food Thai Spicy and expected it to be as spicy as food in Thailand but it wasn't. So that could be spicier. So if you are actually Thai and are used to authentic Thai Spicy that your Nana makes, you might want to ask for spicier than that! My food was mild spicy and was done perfectly for me. Thank you Chaang Thai!! I can't wait to come again!

Pa Ram Chicken

Absolutely delicious!! On vacation and was looking for a place for both a vegetarian and a meat eater. This place fit the bill perfectly. They start with a clear vegetable broth soup and then your main course. Portion sizes (even for lunch) were generous and left is full. We couldn't even finish our plates. We had the pad Thai which the offer in vegan and the Pa Ram chicken. They had loads of flavor. The server was prompt and we were in and out on 45 minutes to get on to our next adventure.

Service: A+ Food: A+ Just be sure to make a reservation since the indoor seating is very limited. The medium spice-level is just perfect for these noodles and the (not pictured) egg rolls. Lastly, don't skip on their Thai iced tea or coffee to complete your meal. The egg rolls were filled with yummy veggies and were served fresh and crunchy. The noodles were savory and the veggies-to-meat combo was just right! Looks like I've found my fav Thai place in COS.

Pad thai with shrimp and red curry with mixed vegetables
Crystal B.

I always get the same thing when I eat here. Crab rangoons, pad thai with shrimp and red curry (we ordered both with a "hot" spice level). Both dishes were spicy :) This is one of my two favorite Thai places in town.

Drunken Noodles
John B.

I was in a hurry, and eschewing the more conventional fast casual places in the surrounding shopping malls for this little Thai place was a good decision. They had a separate vegan menu, plus some vegan specials for some event, but I went relatively conventional with drunken noodles. A complimentary soup was also vegan, though the accompanying pastry was not. I asked for my drunken noodles Thai hot, and they certainly were. I needed a bit of extra water, but the heat wasn't so much to overwhelm the flavors, as the vegetables were ample and had a perfect crunch. It was quick, it was delicious, and it didn't have any of the seafood ingredients that make Thai places tough for us vegetarians. I wish I'd had time for more food.

This has been put on our no list now. When we ordered today, my son asked about Caesar salad and the woman at the counter did not say that they didn't have them. Then when they brought the food out, she said it's not an option. Why not say it when we ordered. Last time my bowl was missing the goat cheese, and I had to ask for it. I also added chicken and mushrooms to my bowl and I literally received about 5-6 mushrooms, which equals more than a dollar a mushroom. This time, my side salad was supposed to have balsamic and had another dressing. My son had the burger and said that the consistency was weird. My other son had the same sandwich he always has and the bread was different, though the menu didn't indicate that it was.

Here, it did not. The scramble was bland, the seasoning barely perceptible, and the burrito lacked anything resembling a defining flavor. Cholula provided most of the excitement. A single slice of orange arrived alongside it, less a garnish than an afterthought. The dish ultimately tasted like precisely what it appeared to be: tofu dusted with turmeric and wrapped in a tortilla. The service model was equally puzzling. Drinks are collected yourself, dishes are cleared yourself, water is not brought to the table, and my meal arrived with a fork but no knife. None of this is inherently objectionable, but it helps to explain the system, particularly to first-time visitors. A restaurant cannot expect guests to understand its rules when no one bothers to tell them what they are. The coffee was good, though sweeteners required another small scavenger hunt. Perhaps regulars know exactly where everything is, clear their plates without thinking, and return happily for the atmosphere. For a visitor, however, the "vibes" were doing considerably more work than the kitchen.

The French toast was so fluffy and perfectly cooked I'd give it a solid 10/10, especially with the fresh fruit and maple syrup on top. My fiancé loved his turkey sandwich too; he couldn't stop raving about the freshness of the ingredients. Drinks are going to be drinking, Not that I've gotten that out of the way... I've always heard such great things about Bird Tree Cafe. And I hadn't gone until yesterday! Figured I'd go before the farmers market across the street in Acacia Park. I got the bookworm latte and it was so good. I was worried it would be too sweet (it was a little sweet), but the brown sugar cinnamon syrup they make really balanced it out. It was so good. It was creamy, dreamy, and the caramel was decadent. I didn't get any food--just the coffee unfortunately, but I do plan on coming back! $7.25 (I think) for a latte is a bit pricey, but the drink is really good. So if you're gonna spend a bit extra, go there for a coffee instead of Starbucks. Service was quick for a long line and the hanging plants and lights made for such a great vibe. I cannot wait to come back and try their breakfast and more lattes!
