This is the only Thai restaurant for a mile or so, so there are alternatives. As any neophyte knows, competition is usually a healthy contributor to the market. While easily located with simple parking in a strip mall, my experience wasn't without its flaws. The staff was genuinely welcoming, you could tell they were trying their best to make the experience enjoyable. My curry dish, with added protein, arrived quickly, which I appreciated after a long day of outdoorsing. An efficient kitchen is nice! The curry had good flavor, but wasn't mind-blowing. The sauce was a bit heavy on curry paste, and it could have benefitted from more coconut milk to balance it out. Still, it was fair, just not the best I've had. The restaurant is near a legendary neighborhood, so you'd think it'd be a prime spot, but it was a bit lacking. One downside was a faint lingering odor around my table I couldn't quite place, not overpowering, but reminiscent of a used wet rag. It was a little off-putting. The environs could use some TLC. A fresh coat of paint, some tidying up, an eye toward improvement. I know some people would be more critical, but it gets three stars because the friendly service and efficient kitchen helped me overlook other issues. Coconut shrimp soup had spoiled shrimp and soup smelled like feet I tried to return it almost fully untouched because it was clearly bad so they refused. Super scammy, shit quality, over priced and down sized portions. They downsized all their menu items while under filling the containers. 16 bucks for pad Thai and the plate is the size of my hand and it's shallow. The food was fantastic! I had it delivered by Uber Eats so I can't tell you about Ambiance and Service regarding dining there. I can say that I asked ( if possible) to not have green peppers in the Thai Curry Lime beef. They were so nice and actually read the note! They didn't have to do this and I would've understood. I've stopped in here 3 times in the past 2 weeks. They are not a huge location, but it's a nice quiet place to grab a good meal! Once you order, you get your food super quick, to me this ties into the size of their business. There have always been people there dining and picking up to go orders, but I have never had a long wait. Their prices are super reasonable as well. I've tried their massaman curry, red curry and basil stir fry, all fresh and super tasty. I ordered takeout from Thai Satay last weekend and it was the best decision I've made in a while. I drive by it everyday since it's by my house, but I wasn't sure if it would be good or not. It's tucked away in the strip mall by King Soupers and looks pretty low key from the outside. Don't be fooled, they offer great service and even better food. I ordered the Tofu Param which consists of a huge order of crispy tofu tossed with peanut sauce and curry served with steamed broccoli & a side of steamed rice. The portion was huge but honestly there was just like 2 pieces of broccoli. The flavor of the tofu was absolutely phenomenal and I literally ate the entire order in one sitting!!!! I normally always have left overs but it REALLY hit the spot. The peanut sauce was prominent but not overpowering, even with peanuts crumbled on top. It was spicy (I think I got medium), but moderately so and didn't make me cry or need to chug water. The sauce, texture, flavor, everything about this dish and the soft steamed rice were perfect. It literally made me feel so happy after eating! I love the vegan/vegetarian options they have and the huge variety of tofu dishes. My second time coming here and the food was AMAZING! Fantastic, authentic Thai food. I have been in Thailand many times and tried many Thai restaurants here in the USA. This ranks as one of the best Thai meals I think I've had outside of Thailand. Food is truly delicious. Have been wanting to try this place for a while. Delivery takes a while, like most people are saying, but I was prepared for that and didn't mind at all. I really appreciate the vegan options and the fact that they deliver on post. I loved my tofu param! It arrived hot and fresh despite the long wait time. I asked for medium spice and OH BOY! Is it spicy. But it has a really nice flavor as well. I got a side of plain noodles for my toddler and she is having fun eating them/ripping them apart and decorating my house with them. I would suggest working on your online menu- it doesn't have any Thai teas on it, which I was looking forward to trying. Next time I will call and ask. Their spring rolls don't have pork and it's mainly just lettuce. The shrimp is cut in half so you really get skimped on the meat.

Bottom Line, Up Front: I only ordered take-out so take this as you will, but the dishes I ordered were pretty damn good and I will certainly go back when I'm craving some basic Thai food. Food: - Chicken Satay Appetizer: For only $6, I got one of the best tasting chicken satay dishes I've ever had from a Thai restaurant. Well seasoned, cooked, and super damn juicy. A few bites on each stick too! And at first, I thought the side peanut sauce that it came with was too thinned out when I looked at it, but when I tried it, it was actually amazing and super flavorful. A nice, not overwhelming peanut flavor with a good solid spicy kick to it that I wasn't expecting. This will now always be on my order list. - Pad Se-Lew Chicken: This is my favorite, under-rated, and under-ordered Thai noodle dish that I use to judge every Thai restaurant. It's based on a sweet soy sauce that coats thick rice noodles (like 4x thicker than Pad Thai noodles), along with white meat chicken, egg, and broccoli. Very flavorful and exactly how I like it. Egg was a little overcooked but it gave those bites a really strong, charred flavor. Actually good. Overall a solid dish if you want to try something other than the Pad Thai. Service: Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate that they did not include any plastic silverware, napkins, or side of chili sauce. Only 2 packets of soy sauce, which you wouldn't really use for these dishes. They could work this up but now I know so I can request it next time. Final Thoughts: Love this place, great food.
