Pho Bami is a new Vietnamese place in the Fairfax Shopping Center. It's been there a few months, and we've ordered take-out a few times. The food has been good every time, and if you want to eat healthy, you can. The pho (that's soup) is plentiful and tasty with options. You can also get plates with your choice of protein and lots of vegetables. I had to split it, and save half for another meal, which makes it more economical. I really love this place. Everything i've had is delicious. My biggest complaint is that the last two times i ordered delivery, i request NO JALEPENOS on my banh mi, as i cannot eat them. I've also requested extra cilantro because i love it. Even though i remove the jalepenos, the juice is still on the sandwich and i cant eat it. So i feel like it's a waste of money. There is another place up 202 that has Banh Mi and they make them the way i ask although i think the food is better at Pho Bami. Bummer. read more

This place is pretty legit! We had their pho and pork bahn mi sandwich. The pho broth was real deal and freshly made, we loved it. The sandwich was delicious, the bread is exactly the way it should be, crispy on the outside and super fresh! Needless to say, the service was great and very attentive, and the place is very clean. We got the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi. This wasn't the worst or the best I've had. The bread was soft and a bit crispy. The meat was on the scant side. And overall the pickled carrots and aioli didn't hit as hard as I've had in different versions. read more

Stoped for an early dinner /late lunch. It's a huge space in a Shopping center on 202. The place was pretty empty but looked like a busy Togo business. The spring rolls were hot and good but made with wheat not rice wrappers. So lose authentic points. The Pho was hot and well prepared but only the herb was Thai basil. Again not the only herb you should get. We also had the vermicelli with grilled pork. Chewy and a bit too sweet. The service was good and poor. Server didn't really know the menu and disappeared. Before trying this one, Pho Saigon in Philly is our favorite. Yesterday we tried the deluxe pho(116) in Pho Bami and we would say, it is also great! Soup base: they taste exactly the same! Love the soup very much! Meat: we like Saigon more Noodle: Bami is a little too soft. Hope it can be a little harder Price: Bami is like $2 cheaper but also the size is not as big as Saigon Distance: pho Bami is much much closer! Service: we ordered take out so not sure the service. But the man who answered the call sounds nice! Overall, pho Saigon is still our top 1 but Pho Bami is now number 2 considering the taste, distance and price. I ordered through door dash and the food arrived super hot! This was my first time having Pho and omg it's so good! The broth was in a separate container (smart) and the rest of the stuff was in another container so you added everything together. They included some jalepano, bean sprouts and basil?, hoisen sauce, and Saracha. All toppings I've seen other people eat with it and I definitely recommend eating it with all of that stuff it's so good. I also got the chicken summer rolls which are veggies and a thing piece of cooked chicken inside rice paper and you dip it in a vinegar? It is great. You can tell the food is very fresh. Ok so this place is FANTASTIC. I walked in ready to order to-go but the ambience and friendly service made me stay for dine-in. The place was very clean and following COVID-19 courtesies. Food: - I ordered a bahn mi with charbroiled pork. The bread was crispy and fresh, pickled veggies were on point and the meat had an amazing flavor. - Spring Rolls: so crispy and fresh. The flavors are amazing and the portions generous We were hungry so the two of us ordered the Pho with grilled pork, the papaya salad and the grilled pork banh mi. All was amazing. I've had better banh mi but would definitively still get it again The Pho was outstanding, great flavors that still remain in my mouth ten minutes later. As some background, I've never had phở before or even the desire to try it. If it weren't for the fact that a friend suggested it as an alternative cold remedy to chicken noodle soup, I probably would have continued to live my sad, pho-less life. I finally stopped in today to grab some for takeout and oh. my. goodness. This place is *amazing*. The ingredients are fresh and separated into bags so you can properly customize your pho to your preference. The broth is so rich and complex! And the portion size is generous. I love this place! Really good local spot with authentic Vietnamese menu. We got the number 169, which is similar to a noodle bowl dish. It had grilled pork and came with a spring roll. It was a cold refreshing dish and came with a nice fish sauce. Our Vietnamese friend took a look at the menu and made this suggestion, and he was defiantly right! I think I've found my new go to spot for pho in Dware. I've tried other pho restaurants around the area but this one tops the rest. I ordered the filet mignon fillet mignon pho and summer rolls and it was great! The broth was flavorful and not too salty. There were actual great meat in the broth. Normally I don't care for pho to go and prefer to dine in but that isn't an option nowadays. The summer rolls were refreshing and delicious. Glad we took the chance and ordered here. I love their grilled pork banh mi so much that I haven't really ordered anything else. The rolls are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They punch holes in the bag so that the steam from the hot pork doesn't make the roll soggy, brilliant! And it's really big, twice the size of the typical banh mi. This was just plain good luck that we saw the sign for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The food came out quickly, was plated beautifully, and above all tasted delicious! The owner came around to introduce himself and thank each of the patrons for coming to his restaurant. Stopped here during a long drive. We got a bahn mi and chicken pho. The bahn mi was the best I've had! And the pho was really really good. One of the waiters came over to our table and explained the proper way to eat the pho which made the experience so much more enjoyable. My wife and I tried this gem in the Fairfax shopping center for lunch today. We both love phó. The restaurant is EXTREMELY clean. They are strictly following Covid regulations. I had filet phó. My wife had plain noodle phó. We shared a spring roll appetizer. Everything came out piping hot. Due to Covid, you have to ask for condiments. I hate to write this review and giving them a 1 star. The food was great, soup, spring roll and vietnamies hoagie. With all the precautions that we are taking to void covid, a worker was sitting there sneezing and coughing the whole time without a mask on. My husband and I felt very uncomfortable and told the manager that she should be sent home. In short, we left a $20 tip and left. The manager comp our lunch so thank you for that. read more

We've probably been here four or five times since they opened. And every time the service and food has been amazing. Coming from Philly where there are many pho places, I have to rate this place with all the stars possible. Their broth is damn near perfect, the meat is always cooked well and is tender, their Vietnamese iced coffee is strong and the banh mi is tasty and well-filled. We have not run across any dishes that we disliked. Believe me, we have tried many off of their menu. If you are in the area, or just looking for a decent Vietnamese food joint, definitely give them a try. read more
