Pho & Roll Express is located in a strip mall on the corner of SW 15th and Morgan Road where Panda Grill used to be. They have done a remarkable makeover of the interior, leaving no vestiges of what used to be and it is a much needed upgrade. The interior now has plenty of space(tables are social distanced) and has modern white accents. This is a family owned place that provides typical Vietnamese fare with the menu consisting of noodle dishes(pho & vermicelli), rolls(spring & fried, NOT sushi lol), rice plates and tea/boba drinks. Everything I've had from here so far has been delicious. I'm not much of a pho critic, I usually get the meatball pho wherever I go and they've all tasted pretty similar to me. The meatball pho here I think is a level above both in terms of the flavor of the broth as well as the meatballs themselves compared to other places I've had. The signature sausage roll(S4) is also excellent, and I could drink the peanut sauce it comes with. As far as the drinks go, I've developed an addiction to the Sweet Mama boba(D4). I don't even like boba usually, but the sweet mama boba has a delectable mix of brown sugar and caramel and the boba itself is a very soft texture which is why I think I like it. I am a pho lover! I eat at a new pho restaurant at least once a month and eat pho at lease once a week. So when I can in and wasn't greeted with a smile but instead with a sigh I already wasn't feeling it. The pho comes with things but all I got was one tiny slice of lime and a lil bit of bean sprouts.. I asked for more and was given one more. Like I just paid before getting the meal. This spot is absolutely amazing! As a female truck driver, there is not always good food places around your terminal or truck stop. This place is only 0.5 miles from my terminal! Either a 15 minute walk or $8 Uber ride it's well worth it. The service was so personalized I felt like I was family. You have to try the GREEN Thai tea boba. My mind was blown! I've been here twice in the past month. Very impressed! I ordered the Pho seafood noodle soup and the seafood fried rolls. Both were amazing! You get a small seasoning sauce which you can tailor the soup to your taste. The fried seafood rolls are to die for!! Wow. Awesome! Highly recommended! My 10 year old son and I went there for dinner.. I was looking for something that I could take back to the hotel room and this was the closest restaurant near the airport with pho. We purchased beef pho, chicken fried rice, and grilled pork spring rolls Rice was good, the spring rolls excellent The pho broth was almost exactly like I make it right down to the color I put "just a bit" too much chili oil in my soup. I wrote a review on Google Maps, but somehow she had it removed. I called in to complained that our take out order was wrong, and they just tried to make it my fault in the way I should've ordered. Then after I got off the phone and kept eating, I bit into a rotten fish ball. I posted a picture of it on Google Maps. Then I threw the meal in the trash and just wrote a bad review not wanting to further deal with it. Then the owner calls me, and tells me She read the review and that I had the wrong store! I said well.. how did you get my number then?? Afterward she went on to make it my fault, took no blame, excuses. After 10 minutes I told her she was wasting my time and I had to go. First time coming. I will definitely come back. The beef in the classic pho is abundant, rich, fatty, and so tender. The broth has a very deep flavor but isn't too strong like most pho broths I've tasted. The egg rolls I had were so so good. The dough was delightfully thin and crispy. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cheery and pleasant. Very nice if you are looking for a good place to lift your spirits. Overall there nothing bad to say about this. Restaurant took over Panda Grill's location. Inside is a clean and bright environment. Staff is friendly and the business employs safe CDC Covid practices. Prices are right on the money. However, the Pho did not have the rich and hearty flavors I'm accustomed to. If I'm in a Pho jam, I might visit again -but unfortunately I feel there are better choices out there. We have been waiting for this place to open since they started advertising! We ordered the grilled pork rice bowl, beef pho, seafood egg rolls, and pork egg rolls. All of the food was delicious!! Especially the seafood egg rolls. I would highly recommend ordering them. The pho looks like a smaller portion because it is not in what most people would consider a "typical" pho bowl, but it was full of meat and noodles and a great portion. The grilled pork in the rice bowl was very well seasoned and tasty. We liked how it came in a compartmentalized container so you could pick and choose what you want to add to it.
