Lemon Grass Chicken Plate ( Com Gà Nướng Sả )
Linda M.

So sorry but my dish was so bad lol. I didn't get pho I got one of my second favorite viet dishes which is lemongrass chicken. It was cold, the sauce was bland, i dont know it was just so "cafeteria". I was having a long day and starving and this made me so sad lol. The thing is IT LOOKS SO GOOD!! BUT I don't think I'll be back here. My fiancé said he loved his pho bc he's been here before só his expectations were set lol. Maybe mine were too high.

Ordered pick up the other night! They did get our order wrong, by adding an extra item but it could've been a miscommunication. The pho was good but I 100% recommend eating there than taking it home. I LOVED the salted fried shrimp ugh that was amazing. Definitely swing by for some truely good Pho!!! Cute little small shop that gets busy!!!

Beef Combo Pho ( Đặc Biệt Xe Lửa )

I enjoyed the pho #1 combo. The broth was light and flavorful. The large portion was big enough to satisfy. I also had spring rolls which were adequate but unremarkable. I have been eating at the pho place across the street but I think I may switch to this has my main pho place for a while.

I've been going all a lot of the Pho places in the area and thought this place nearby would be a good choice based on other ratings. However it did not live up to those ratings. The service wasn't the best and the food matched. When the waiter came to our table they stood behind me and didn't say anything so I had no idea they were waiting to take our order. I ordered the Marinated Chickenw ith fried rice. The chicken, while it had good marinade, was dry and over cooked. The fried rice also tasted unusual. My companion similarly wasn't thrilled about their order either. I rarely leave a place without eating most of my food or asking for the leftovers to go, here we simply left the food on the plates. When I went to pay I had to wait around for a while despite a large number of the staff just sitting out in the restaurant eatting oranges that sellers from outside came in and tried to sell to the restaurants customers. I don't expect anyone on their break or lunch to stop and get up to let me pay but I would expect that someone would've flagged down whoever was still on the clock to help me out.

If you're wanting tasty and authentic experience. This is the spot. Eggrolls are 10/10 Broth 10/10 Serving size are great. Service is top notch and very quick Good music playing in the background. Would definitely return.

After driving around Beverly Hills with my client, she decided to stop by here for some late lunch. According to her, this place has been here forever. I have been here once and it looks still the same. It needs a lot of work to spruce up the place. I recommended the beef combo or rare steak pho but my client ordered the chicken pho and she was not happy about it. She still finished the pho though. But made sure to herself that she will not order it again. It's not tasty enough. Servings are generous. Quick service. During the visit, customers were in and out but there is always a table or two available. Plenty of parking space that is shared with the other businesses.

My favorite!! E. Ca Kho To ... catfish stewed, with green onions . Hands down every time I come in this is my order. I wanted to try different dishes, but I'm a creature of habit...the only thing with this dish is it will take about 15 to 20 minutes before your order comes. And it's worth it.

Their food and price is good. I have order beef soup with eggroll The egroll wasn't cook on fresh oil In addition, their service is a little stressful and that's why I will give them 4 start instead of five

#1 Pho combo Pork Egg Rolls (5) (Phn Ch Gi) Spring Rolls (2) (Gi Cun)
Nick C.

This is my go to spot for pho or one of them. Most of the time it's solid. Decent tasting. Sometimes it's a little not so warm or hot. This was one of those times. Pho #1 was tasty per usual. Mixed meats of rare, fatty and lean cooked brisket. Tendon and tripe come in it too. The broth is tasty. Not too fatty but not lean. Just right. Fried egg rolls are decent. They changed up the wrapping as this one doesn't bubble up. Served with some wrap lettuce carrot cucumber and jicama. Spring rolls were large. Lots of lettuce. Cold pork or beef I think. The sauce is a bit thin but I think they give you too much of it. Instead of watering down the sauce and giving a lot why not give half of the portion but don't thin in it out. Service is quick. Usually done by a very old man. After they get your order and serve it they don't ever go back. This is common for other places.

Tyson was amazing. Loved every minute here. I always get treated with great service when I'm here and the food is always just as good. The avocado boba is fire too lol

Shrimp Spring Rolls (2) (Gỏi Cuốn)
Queenie M.

Came here for dinner with my sister and ordered shrimp spring rolls, vermicelli bowl (forgot to take a picture of it), and a rice noodle soup with crabmeat, shrimp, and fried pork (they ran out of the default noodles that are usually in the dish so we had to choose another type of noodles). The restaurant seemed busy and there was not much interaction with staff. The food was honestly really bland (also not a picky eater) compared to other restaurants I've been to, not sure why since this restaurant has 4.4 stars with 1,000+ reviews on Google. The price wasn't bad for the dishes but honestly would not return here next time.

Pho with fish ball
abigail m.

It took a while for them to take our order. There is a language barrier. The food was so so. They clean up the tables by banging the dishes. When it's time to pay the guy had an attitude, secondly they charge you more so you have to pay attention and when you bring up the mistake he gave a pist off look and in the end still didn't fix the up charge. I have to warn you guys just always check your bill. Not friendly here. This is my first time here. I usually go to the newly opened Pho So 1 on Chatsworth & Zelzah in Granada Hills or Balboa & Devonshire. Won't be back here again. The pho size is small. Frustrating to order and they don't understand you.

It was refreshing to not be disappointed by our ramen, so my mom and I went back less than a week later. Any issues we experienced our first visit were either repeated or amplified during our second visit. Both times I noticed that the ramen isn't served hot. At best, it's served warm, so despite being a quick eater, the last bites of my bowls were "enjoyed" cold. Also, the restaurant is very busy with to go orders, so the overwhelmed staff has to juggle dine in as well as delivery drivers and their priority is the to go orders. They have a sign up/wait list, but they don't follow it. Customers who stand at the door, in the staff's view, will be seated before others who signed up before, but are off to the side. Lastly, is the issue of cleanliness. Our first visit the restaurant didn't feel very clean, but by the second, I was sure they weren't cleaning throughly. We ordered fresh garlic and the garlic masher they gave still had old garlic inside. On top of that, they don't wipe tables between customers because they're so busy. Strictly rating the food, Kai Ramen deserves a solid 4 stars, but as a whole, I think 3 stars is generous. Unfortunately, another visit wouldn't change anything because the problem is caused by management understaffing and overworking employees.

That came with their vinaigrette dressing but a side of ranch was also asked for. The Brie and turkey sandwich with a side of the macaroni salad. Sandwiches were quite tasty with the toasted bread and how everything melted together. The burger which was pretty big in size. Tasty from what I was informed and served with a side of fries. Lastly, the avocado toast with tomatoes. Simple and cheerful. Plus you need an extra side order of streak fries with ranch. Both ketchup and their avocado dip was brought out as well. Food was good, the service was great. Both with the gal at the register and the waitress bringing out the food. It's pet friendly which is also nice to have the little pup with us. Forgot, they also have a nice display case of sweets on hand. And cookies that were massive. Clearly one was had before the meal. Sweets beforehand is always a good idea. I received a salad full of chickens and 4 pieces of seared tuna. It was so salty I could only stomach 2 bites. I had previously asked to have the dressing on the side, but they mixed it in the salad anyway. I asked him to take it back and have them make me a salad without the chicken, just the seared tuna. Finally it was partially right, but the dressing was mixed inside the salad once again. Extremely salty. When I received my bill, I was charged for a Chinese chicken salad and an order of seared tuna. I had explained to him that I did not want the cabbage that came with the seared tuna, which is why I ordered the Chinese chicken salad without the chicken, instead use the seared tuna. The waitress we had a month ago, got it right the first time and that salad was perfect. This new guy was extremely busy, needed help, and this Mother's Day meal has tainted my memory of this place. The tofu soup missed the oomph. Was spicy and pipping hot but was kinda watery. Likely a one and done since there are so many other different options in the area.
