I was out from a friends wedding and I this place was recommended. I was not disappointed. The owners family was there and were welcoming. Today he was hosting his brothers wedding. I came in late at night. The Pho was delicious and the service was on point. The Pho was well seasoned and it was something I will have to enjoy a lot more. But it better be a delicious, piping hot bowl I'll always dream about. Nope, not even close. The broth was lukewarm and citrusy. Barellyy hot enough to cook the tai (steak) probably because it was cut thick af too. The bo vien (meatballs) were good but cut almost the same thickness as the tai. While on vacation in Denver, we ate at PHO 95. It was our first time to eat Vietnamese cuisine. We made our selections based on the server. Calamari is a must try appetizer. I love this spot. I judge a Vietnamese spot by their fried Vietnamese egg rolls. This place has the best Vietnamese egg rolls anywhere close to me and there are quite a few Vietnamese spots close. I go there enough that I order the "fried Vietnamese egg rolls "John's way"" and almost everybody knows what my order entails. Ok! I have been eating here for years, ever since this place first opened because we literally live across the street! Hands down the best pho in Denver!!! Just come try it and see for yourself! We do love his original location as well on Federal that we used to visit before this second location opened up. Now Erin is opening up a third location over by Lincoln and I-25. So far I have had everything on the menu and you can't go wrong with any of the meals on the menu. The rice noodle bowls are to die for as well. Food is super fresh, comes out quick and hot!! Prices are pretty cheap for how much food you get. Erin will always make you feel like family when you return. I believe they also extended their opening hours until 9:30pm! read more

I think heaven just saved a special spot for Aaron and his gang of happy pho peddlers. It was nice to see Aaron again and some of the guys from Federal were on hand as well, as was Aaron's wife. Today was the long awaited grand opening of Pho 95 #2. There was a line out the door the entire time we were there. Way more upscale than the Federal location - this could be a proper date place before a movie or a stroll in the newly revamped Southglenn. Prices not any higher than Federal but the menu is larger, the servers are all polished up and decor is down right stylish. There is even a kids menu and more bobas than you can shake a tapioca pearl at. So, no more hungry faces on the south end of town. Good luck to Aaron and the gang and wait, maybe Pho 95 IS heaven and Aaron is sweet enough to let us all visit once in while. read more

Gosh darn it! I should have listened to my Yelp husband Greg T. He gave me shiiiT for dining at Pho 95 the first time calling me "one of those" people. Honey, I'm sorry! Since he is a good yelp husband he gave me several recs of places to go. Our first choice for Pho was Pho Duy. They sadly were already closed by the time we were leaving for dinner. Since we enjoyed Pho 95 so much on our first visit we felt it was safe to visit them again. I was wrong... We walked in about 30 minutes before close time which is plenty of time when dining Pho. We received a warm friendly hello from owner which made me smile and reminded me of why I loved the place so much the first time. Our server immediately approached and asked if we were ready. We were not. He came back a few minutes later and we ordered. His style all night was very rush rush and I didn't like that at all. Our spring rolls came out but we had no untencils or nuoc mom. Our food shortly followed. I for some stupid reason tried something new. Bad move CG. The #12 Rare Marinated Steak was not what I was expecting. I ended up picking out all the meat. The Pho broth itself tonight was just off. Thank goodness I ordered a small. Not that I use it really but they didn't even give me the jungle of greens and weeds to jazz up my Pho with. One of my dinner mates didn't care for his food much either. His pork chop dinner was supposed to have a fried egg but no egg was on his plate. The lemonade was served semi warm odd. I think this is the best Pho I have had on the south end of the metro area. If you are not willing to drive all the way to the Pho places on Federal, then this is a solid choice. The marinated steak offering here is pretty unique. Basically, it is a tender beef offering with a big tangy kick. The broth has great depth of flavor, the veggies are fresh, and they do not overcook the noodles. I found the portions to be generous (the mound of vegetation accompanying your soup is immense), although the prices are slightly higher than what you will pay on Federal. If this is the only place you plan on going to, then the parking may be very frustrating. It would be hard to get a quick "in and out" here. read more

Not impressed more so due to lack of service than their food, I had their pho and it was wonderful. But I sat at the bar and was pretty much ignored the entire time. There were two other people at the bar, one older man who raising a stink about the over charging him for a beer (and of course did not shut up after that) and then a couple at the other end of the bar. I sat down, was given water with no acknowledgement until the guy working the bar asked what I wanted. No hello or anything. I ordered my rare steak pho, got it in a few minute, dressed it up accordingly and noshed. No water refills, no asking how anything was, nothing. I guess they don't know what the word service means. This place is so good but so hit or miss! It's the closest place to get boba tea and that especially is not consistent which is disappointing. I got a jasmine milk tea boba yesterday and it was not made right, the tea was too strong, not enough milk, sweetener, or ice, and the boba balls were hard and to big to go up the straw. It was not enjoyable. For food, they have messed up my order twice, once when I dined in and once for take out. I wish they were more consistent, I would go more. read more

I live in Colorado Springs which is about 1.5 hours away, but that doesn't stop me from eating here almost once a week. I crave this Pho, I dream about this Pho, I can't get enough of this delicious Pho. My favorite, Pho Chay (#4) with vegetable broth, rare steak instead of tofu, and no cilantro. It has vegetables, rare steak, and rice noodles in a spicy, vegetable broth that is full of flavor. Just mouth watering. My husband always orders the rare steak Pho with extra noodles (which they bring in a separate bowl in chicken broth). Honestly, I love the Pho so much I haven't ordered anything else except the spring rolls which were fresh and delicious. I've seen the noodle bowls and there're humongous. I have been coming here for years and absolutely love the staff and of course the food! It's usually quite busy on weekends and later on in the evening, but the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and trying to get you your food as fast as possible! Hubs and I came here for date night on Friday. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the happy hour until 6:00 which was $1.50 domestic bottles (including microbrews like Avery- not just crap like Coors), $2.00 foreign, $4 wells, and $4 glasses of wine. Pretty decent! They also have daily specials that run all night. On Friday it was $6 25oz drafts of either Coors Light or Easy Street Wheat. I don't think they have a special on Saturday but every other day they do. For an appetizer, we decided to share the shrimp and pork spring rolls. These were ok. They were loaded with lettuce which made them a little too dry. I would have preferred more shrimp and maybe some avocado. I actually like the ones at Tokyo Joe's better! For dinner, hubs had the appetizer sized ribs and a beef sandwich. I went with the traditional Pho- which rare steak and skirt steak. The ribs were pretty tasty- a little chewy in parts, but overall, good. I didn't eat the sandwich but he enjoyed it. The Pho was great. The broth was delicious- of course I doctor with everything. I throw in all of the side items they give you plus I douse with chili oil and sriracha. I wasn't that into my meat selection. I think next time I would try shrimp and maybe brisket. I found the atmosphere chaotic and I remember they had the bussing carts parked right next to various tables for extended periods. Not something I want next to me while eating. Food was not memorable. My son and I were going to another restaurant this week which ended up being closed so I thought we should try this place. Came in again, to a chaotic mess. Were greeted and sat down and waited for menus. After about 10 mins sitting at the table with no one coming by we left. Won't be back. First impressions are usually the right ones. read more

A great place for Pho in Southglenn, right near the movie theatre! We stopped in here to get our Pho fix and were surprised how big it is. The service was friendly and fast, the broth was very flavorful and they didn't skimp on the meat or noodles. Plus they have drink specials and lots of TVs. Even a eating challenge if you so desire :) We liked it! It is a busy area, but it is also a place we often will be so it goes into our regular rotation. read more

Came for a boba drink, but they ran out of boba (tapioca balls). I didn't mind- I was going to order my drink without it anyway. (If I wanted to chew something w/my drink- I'd order a meal, ya heard.) Luckily the unfortunate news didn't affect my boba loving friends, so we went ahead and ordered 3 milk tea smoothies, boba-less. They only sell smoothies here, (over 20 flavors of milk tea or a fruit flavor, blended w/ice) and top it off w/whipped cream. Their milk tea smoothie was super sweet, but that didn't stop me drinking the whole thing. I'm heffer-ish that way. They have an interesting Food Eating Challenge, where for $35 you must consume 2lbs of noodles, 2lbs of meat, and a ton of broth and veggies. If you lose, you get a pink "I am a Pho King Loser" shirt, have your picture taken and posted up on the wall. If you complete the challenge successfully, you get bragging rights w/a white "I am a Pho King Champion" shirt, and your picture posted. So far, their wall is pinky pinkerton, but it's funny to see how popular the challenge is.
