Came here for lunch. The Pho is ginormous. You could easily split between 2 people and get a plate if you wanted. We both had pho, my wife had the brisket and i had the shrimp as our proteins. The broth had that great flavor you expect from a good pho place. There was enough seafood for me to be worth the costs and my wife had a lot of brisket in hers. My only issue was the raw onion. It felt like i had an entire onion in my bowl. Will be back but ask for less onions next time. read more

Definitely my PHO spot! Went here for dinner last night. Really great . Staff was super courteous, and the PHO was really great. The vibe/atmosphere was really relaxing as well. Came here at the spur of the moment after planning to go elsewhere for lunch...and we were thoroughly impressed!! The food and service were both amazing. The food was incredibly flavorful and each curry had its own distinct taste (as opposed to everything tasting the same). From a service standpoint, our waiter was so attentive and friendly! We are vegetarian and he ensured that all dishes would be made with no fish or oyster sauce - not all places are so accommodating. This place was great. Found it on Yelp shortly after opening and decided to try it out with a coworker on a weekday for lunch. Restaurant (and restrooms) very clean. We were immediately greeted by the pleasant staff and sat in the large, nicely decorated dining area. I had the Deluxe Pho and my coworker ordered the Spicy Noodle Soup. Everything was delicious and we received plenty of the Pho accompaniments for the two if us. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. I overheard another waiter patiently helping other customers who were not as familiar with Vietnamese cuisine select an option that they would like best by providing detailed descriptions of each item they asked about, and explaining how to use the lime, bean sprout, and basil offered with their noodle soups, as well as the sauces on the table. He did a fantastic job of this and made sure to check back with them to ensure that they were enjoying their selections shortly after their lunch arrived. From the looks of the website they appear to also own Pho Xinh in Mount Laurel which I also enjoy (though it is a smaller dining space). We ordered takeout tonight and we were disappointed. We loved Pho 9 when it opened and ate there a number of times. We hadn't been for a while just because life got busy. It's definitely gone downhill if tonight's meal is any indication. We ordered first the appetizer of summer rolls with bbq pork and peanut sauce. They were delicious, full of flavor and the sauce was yummy! Our meals,not so much. My husband got the chicken with garlic sauce and the chicken pieces were tough and the meal had very little flavor. I ordered the Pad Se Lew; I wanted to order the Pad Thai but they told me they can't make it non spicy because the sauce is premade. The noodles were dry and the dish had an unpleasant under taste. The shrimp in it were plentiful and tasty but the rest of the dish was really not good. Pho 9 charges more than similar restaurants and I don't mind paying additional for better food. It was my first time having pho and I have to say it was darn good. It had a really flavorful broth with tender slices of brisket. The staff was very kind and explained how you're supposed to eat it. It's also a huge portion. Good to split if you're not that hungry. read more

It really depends on the flow or volume, if there's good flow, the ingredients are fresh, during slow times you can definitely taste the difference between good and bad. I guess it all depends on your luck of the draw read more

This restaurant was great. My friend ordered from the wok selections of shrimp with vegetables. It was a good portion of vegetables and shrimp. It looked so good I might order that the next time. I try to avoid carbs so I ixnay noodles or rice. They had me covered with the the menu order of shrimp and papaya salad. Most pho restaurants only bring out a small cup of fish sauce. Yesterday was my first time trying this restaurant. In the menu, under the Noodle Soup section, it clearly says that it's rice noodles in broth. When my order came out, I told the server that I thought it came with rice noodles, because that's what the menu said. I wasn't making a big deal of it, I just wanted the rice noodles added. The server went and told another employee. She marches over and starts yelling at me, even after explaining why I was confused because of that's what it said in the menu. So, after she was finished yelling at me , I kindly just asked the rice noodles to be added. They finally bought out a plate of rice noodles, but I'm very disappointed in her professionalism. After craving a bowl of pho, I decided to give Pho 9 a try! I ordered the Summer Rolls with shrimp, as well as the Pho Tai Chin. The ingredients inside the rolls were very fresh, but overall, the dish was very bland. My pho was good, but definitely could have been better. The meat was cooked well and was very tasty. However, the broth lacked any flavoring and the soup did not come accompanied with Sriracha or other sauces to add. So happy to find a pho place close to home. Tried it tonight and it really exceeded my expectations. The place was very spacious and clean and they gave complementary spring rolls for being newly opened. We got the summer rolls which were pretty average but the star for me was my seafood pho. Super flavorful and HUGE. Left with two quarts even after filling myself up. My bf had chicken and scallions and they gave him so much chicken compared to most places and he's one to lick the plate clean but he couldn't even finish it. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, filling our waters and asking if we needed anything. Only thing we didn't like was their Jake fruit smoothy since it lacked flavor. Not sure if all jack fruit is tasteless but this smoothy did not taste like anything. My husband and I love this restaurant. The owners/operators are very personable and incredibly helpful. When they first opened, I wasn't sure what I wanted to have. So they helped me choose based on my mood and likes. At this point my favorite thing on the menu is the beef rice vermicelli. If you've never had that, they show you how to fold and wrap the rice paper. I just love it. My husband loves their seafood or shrimp pho and that's his go-to. The crispy spring rolls with the dipping sauce is beyond good! We gave also had the peanut salad which is also very good. Honestly, there is not one thing on the menu that we have not enjoyed. The best bowl of pho in S Jersey. I've tried most of the places in the Philly suburbs. Broth is flavorful, deep, complex, and satisfying.
