We got a handful of drinks ordered for us and our kiddos. I usually do a fruit tea but decided to switch it up. So I went with the creme brulee matcha today. It sounded legit. I love creme brulee and I love matcha so having them both together seemed like a winning combo! My drink was decent. It honestly didn't really quite look like the advertised photo, that's what sold me as a visual eater. I was hoping for more caramelized sugar in the drink. The matcha was gritty. And it could have been a hair sweeter. The drink was good but it could have been better. I'm sure we will be back. My sister loves this place and with summer coming up, we gotta keep hydrated. A few days after our visit, my mom texted me to tell me about how much her Boba cost her because she found her paper receipt in the bottom of her purse. Not only did they add a tip that she did not add herself, they literally charged her extra money for less ice. Is that where we are now? We're charging people more money for less product? I welcome a response from the owners if maybe we misunderstood something, but a tip is earned, not an automatic thing that should be added to every order. And we certainly should not be paying more money for less of something.
