Pho 420 Saigon in Palisades Park, NJ. Moody Sunday calls for Hot and Spicy Pho. Crispy Pork Spring Roll and Spicy Pho Oxtail, Rare Eye-Round Pho are my favorite at @pho420saigon. It's nothing fancy but the service is fast!

I've been to Pho 420 Saigon a few times now. It's a small local spot on the main street of Palisades Park. They have maybe ten tables. Their pho is pretty good, especially the broth. And they have a few interesting variations, such as SP3, which has a spicy beef broth. The only thing i dislike about their pho is how delicate the noodles are. The noodles have been overcooked every time i've gone, so they often break as i go to pick them up, which makes eating the dish difficult. They're also a bit pricier than other local pho spots that are just as good.

Good service, not so good pho. I've got to learn my lesson and not walk into Korean pho restaurants with any semblance of hope it would taste as good as their Vietnamese counterparts. At least this place wasn't nearly as horrific as the truly, genuinely awful Korean pho joint PhoBu in Fort Lee, which mercifully shut down. But long story short, as others here have pointed out, the pho just doesn't taste right. Broth, noodle, meat mix is just off and doesn't have the same taste, feel, texture or vibe of genuine pho. That said, the quality of what they offer isn't poor at all and if you don't care about pho tasting like what you'd get in a real Vietnamese place, then you're fine. Same goes for their pork chop entree which tastes fine but isn't much like their Vietnamese counterparts. However, like the pho, at least they use decent ingredients. However, note they are also more pricey than other places. The service here was good and the restaurant itself was clean. I also like how their delivery service they do a good job of packing the food in a very clean and eco friendly way. Too bad this place wasn't more authentic in terms of taste or execution, would have been nice to have another good pho option in town but at least it isn't as horrible as some other similar wannabe pho joints.

As a Vietnamese, I was suspecting at first if the pho would taste okay here because the restaurant was in the middle of Korean neighborhood and the staffs seemed to be all Korean. However, I was very impressed with my order and felt sooooo content! Enjoyed every bite and finished every single thing including the broth. The bowl of pho was also served with extra beansprouts and sliced onions on the side. Except for when I was in my home country of Vietnam, I never saw any other Vietnamese restaurants in the States that served a generous amount of sliced onions on the side. Side beansprouts are pretty common, but not sliced onions. Nothing like a good bowl of pho on a rainy cold day Not only the food was good, but also the staff was friendly. We were curious what 420 stood for and he explained that it sounded like Saigon when being pronounced in Korean. Interesting fact to learn! Definitely will come back here for more.

This place is small little restaurant, if you weren't paying attention you probably drive right past it. When you go inside, other than the wood trimming, the restaurant is pretty plain with bunch of tables and that's it. You go there just for the bowl of pho. That's what they're known for. The waiter was friendly but the food took a little bit to come out. I guess it's ok. gave me a chance to check my email on my phone. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area

Best pho in Bergen county I've found. I always get P1. I love how they ask you if you want cilantro and they give you a side of onions with other veggies (crucial for the broth). It comes out piping hot and I always leave feeling happy. I can go eat pho here at least once a week. It's so good. Broth is on point. The beef is so tender. And always get the large bowl for a dollar more!

Had to try the new pho place in town! We got summer rolls, pho, and a shrimp fried rice. There were also options for spicy pho which my boyfriend considered but ultimately decided against because this was our first visit. Everything was delicious, and I appreciated that they asked our preferences for things like hot or cold water/barley tea (I think) and if we were okay with cilantro. The pho itself was tasty and a little on the bland side. I can't put my finger on why, but it does not taste as authentic as the obviously Vietnamese run places I have been to. It does, however, satisfy my craving for pho, as I am not Vietnamese and honestly there are not many authentic good pho places in this region to begin with (feel free to dm me with suggestions if you have any lol). The presentation of the dishes was very neat and attractive. Prices were a little high especially considering the serving sizes compared to some other pho places I've been to, but nothing unreasonable at all. I would definitely return! Just one small thing--the cups for the barley tea are very small and I'm a huge water guzzler. I feel like bigger cups might make it so they don't have to come by and refill as often for people like me!

A solid Vietnamese restaurant. I would say it's between 4 and 5 stars. The pho was good, but the Vietnamese bibim noodles were not the best. Overall, it was a pleasure to visit. The staff was kind enough to explain the dishes on the menu patiently, and the atmosphere was good for the family.

New restaurant on Broad Ave offering Korean-style Vietnamese food. If you are looking for authentic pho, this won't satisfy you. They are currently offering limited indoor dinning and takeout. No delivery yet. We opted for takeout and their packaging is on another level. Like many takeout places in Korea, they seal everything. It's nice because there is less worry of a mess during transport. We tried a bun and pho. They were out of spring rolls already by 5:30pm on a weekday. The food is decent, nothing to rave about. The pho broth lacked depth. It has very little of the favors of authentic Vietnamese pho but I guess this can be enjoyable too. They give you tons of hot peppers if that's your thing. The grilled meat on the bun had good flavor but was dry and a little over cooked. The tempura was nice and crispy. They use the same rice noodles for their bun and pho.

This a Korean style pho place with a variety of dishes including bahn mi sandwiches. We had the raw beef pho P2(13.95), oxtail pho (special $18) and the spicy gopchang intestine pho ($17). They were all so good! Pho broth was clean, noodles were just right! Each soup comes with yellow pickled radish and spicy chopped chilli peppers. This is one of the best pho places in Palisades Park area!

No seasoning no veggie so dry. Omg

the worst grilled chicken vermicelli I ever had. Horrible I'm so mad! I know that I told you to remove the meat ball cuz I don't want it. But just rice noodle and chicken? No other flavor or vegetables?? This is definitely not a finished dish!! So pissed

I tried Pho for the first time in Pennsylvania for the first time and I've been trying to find that flavor that taste that deliciousness again. And guys I FOUND IT! This restaurant is the best Pho in New Jersey! YES! You heard me right the best Pho in New Jersey hands down! Trust me I've tried other Pho restaurants in the area and they don't compare to this restaurant at all. You are greeted with a nice medium size restaurant they offer you hot tea or ice tea and the wait is less than 20min for your meal. I tried the P7 which is well done brisket flank pho and it's juicy tender soft and the broth is heavenly the presentation the taste is to die for. WOW! I also love their shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice. Their crispy fried shrimp rolled is also very tasty too! Presentation is key for me and they delivered I felt like I was seated at a royal palace getting ready for my royal dinner when I saw my plate being placed on the table. To make matters even more amazing I ordered take out the second day after trying them because they were soooooo delicious that I was astonished to see how well they pack the food for take out and the consistency in taste and quality they truly pride themselves in awesome customer service they are an amazing restaurant go bless your taste buds. Don't even think about it! They don't have seafood pho but I don't even mine I really liked them and I'm so excited to explore their menu! I'm so pleased with this company they have exceeded my expectations and they have made a new regular because I plan on eating here at least once a week !

This pho restaurant serves Korean style pho with visually appealing presentation. Def not my style of pho - I'm not a fan of Korean style pho because it misses strong flavors of the spices (cinnamon, star anise, etc) but I know older Koreans enjoy this flavor. Noodles taste processed & the soup is beefy but bland. The restaurant itself was super clean and well put together. Loved how they serve the pho in trays with sides & sauce plate. It's always interesting to see how Koreans reinterpret Vietnamese pho (ie. Pho32). Maybe I'll try out other things in their menu, but the pho was a no for me.

The pho and spring rolls are solid. The soup with a bit of a lime is always refreshing and hits the spot. Portions are generous as well.

Broth was weak and felt like very deluted compared to what/how I remember...felt like lost layers of its flavour. At least Soup temperature was good as it was hot. Chashu pork was quite under cooked as meat was tough. Fat part had quite porky taste (not good one). This really was a very disappointment for my taste. I remember their Chashu pork was tender and tasty; but today's Chashu pork had no flavor and very tough/chewy. It felt like cooking time/method got much less and shortened. Amount of bambu shoot pieces were very few (only two pieces in the bowl). Though all toppings can be added with additional charges, I did not expect inly a few pieces on. Noodle served was under cooked for my taste... I understand that it can be busy; but it was not as busy/hectic as before on this day. Because of these negatives, number of stars got 3 from 4 before.
