My go to place for the mall, the best seasoning. Might not have alot of meat but i love it here. The owner recognize me over the years. Its been 20+ years, always fresh, always hot! I do agree that the price has gone up a bit, it was $13 for a small meal 8 believe it used to be more around $10 but food quality is still good, so I don't mind it. I forgot to add lettuce and tomato i my Sandwich :( no wonder it's so sad, i swear it used to come with the classic but now looks like you have to ask for it. read more

This chicken philly was so good and fresh! The bread was soft and all the veggies were fresh and not withered and soggy! Hands down really good sandwich for grabbing a bite to eat while shopping in the mall! And one of the best I've ever had! Our plates were completely empty afterwards! read more

Okay so, I used to live in NE Philly before I came to Texas and let me tell you, this place is sooooooo much better. Yes, better than Pat's and Geno's in my opinion. Not only do they cut up the meat the same way the Pats and Genos,but you can order a cheesesteak with everything you want without the silly lingo. It's located in the mall's food court, right on the left through the food court entrance. You can even get a side of tator tots!!! I ordered a pink lemonade, philly classic (cheesesteak with provolone, peppers,onions) , and an order of tots. Our food was done in less than 5 minutes. My boyfriend recognized the manager there, my bf has been going to this place for 15yrs and the manager used to be a cook who worked his way up. The tator tots were nicely fried and delicious, steak meat was tender and the veggies were cooked amazingly. My ONLY criticism is that they put waaay too much ice in my drink! I feel like I only got 2 sips out of my drink, I'll ask for no ice next time. Other than that amazing, we will be back!!! read more

For mall food court this is a good place. You can not get that opinion from the samples that they peddle in front of their stand. This is a great option for food that is not full of cheese grease or deep fried. The meat is cooked right there in front of you. And the cooks are friendly. I got a side salad instead of fries and the salad was simple, the lettuce was fresh. There was more meat than veggies and the bread was not hard and dry (like the samples). They even have an All American that is meat and cheese only so for the carnivores, they do not have to have them hold the veggies. read more

I've been on a mission lately to find the best-est philly cheesesteaks around me. Like any girl, I hit the mall to do some shopping and I don't even look at the other restaurants in the food court. I go straight to Phil's now. The gyros are very tasty and i love watching them cook right there in front of me. The bread is fluffy and the sauce is very tasty. The philly cheesesteaks are one of the best ones I've ever had. I am not any kind of expert in this area, but I know what I like. The bread is always the right texture and it all just blends together so well. you can tell them as they are making it exactly how you want it and the cook always does it as requested. read more

Too bad I have to give them one star. I ordered the double double and all I got was a lot of dried up meat with cheese that looked like it had been heated up too much. I could tell what the taste was but the cheese taste as if it was spoiled. I called the company to let them know how disappointed I was and who ever answered the phone told me I was the first person to say the food was not good. I explained this was my first and now my last time I would eat there and he was like ok!!! No consideration that maybe they made a mistake and since I ordered from Foodsby the guy told me that is who I needed to be calling because that is who I paid. I agreed but noted to him that Foodsby did not make the sandwich. I will never order here again and will stick to my usual Jersey Mikes when I want a steak sub. read more

This is a new place inside Willow Bend mall specialized on Philly cheese steak. The chicken cheese steak comes with mayo, mushrooms, green peppers and provolone cheese. They prepared it fresh on the griddle in front of you while you watch. It has a nice cheesy taste and the chicken is nice an juicy. The cheese steaks come in a bunch of forms, including buffalo, regular beef cheese steak, etc. and they also carry burgers, wraps and a gyro. As sides they have Philly fries, fries, tater tots and curly fries. It's a great addition to the food court, especially since cheese steak places are hard to come by here. We'll be back. read more

Pricey! I still can't wrap my head around the fact that a "large" order of french fries at $3.19 is given in a small hotdog concession-stand type food tray. Itty bitty. Wasn't what I was expecting for my shopping snack. HOWEVER, the fries were super hot and fresh. They were frying and cooking everything fresh. It was great. I would definitely come back here! Ok it's in a mall ... I expect over priced. I came over here because BK was packed, the Asian places packed, I don't care for subway and wasn't in the mood for pizza. I was able to order right away but they were backed up getting food out, but I was there during the end of the late Sunday lunch mall shopper and employees lunches. For me the amount of fries I got was very much a rip off ... I spent 11 something for a chicken and cheese sandwich, drink & fries. The sandwich was to much for me honestly so i easily split it with my toddler but the fries were that I would have to order two which I may as well go get two kids meals from BK for the price and get more for our buck. The food itself was good enough; far better than subway sandwiches, and they have them with the fancier Philly stuff (mushrooms, onions,etc.) or on the plainer side ... just chicken and cheese. If I find myself just feeding myself and the kid will I try it again. Sure. Though this mall isn't an attraction mall like grapevine is; more a I know which entrance of the store I want and I go to the single store not a walk around place so I doubt I will be up here often enough to make much of an impact or to try much more of their offerings. Though I'm happy to have something else on the table of things I'm willing to eat if I have to eat in the food court. read more

Ok, look guys (and gals,) I'm not going to lie... I've been back to Phil's in North East Mall at least 3 times since I wrote my original Yelp rating. The sandwich is just so damned good. BUT (and that's a big but) the prices are still way too high and the amount of product that is put into the sandwich is still reduced from where it originally was (to try and increase profit, cut expenses and hope the patrons do not notice.) So, I'm only updating just to be on the up and up about my patronize of Phil's. I used to be a once-a-weeker to Phil's (when it was too expensive but you got more product.) Now, I'm [maybe] a once-every-six-months visitor to Phil's in North East Mall. Either reduce the pricing or increase the product portion is all I'm sayin'. read more

Very good. The original philly no onion was just what I needed to hit that craving! Nothing else really excited me. Food court was extremely packed luckily someone had just left a table when our food was ready. Some better timing should prevent that. I'll be back for more! read more

The Philly cheesesteak sandwiches here are out of this world! they are a little pricey though. I recommend getting extra cheese on your sandwich. the owners have been here for years and are very nice. when they see me coming into the mall, they always say hi if I am eating there or not which I usually am! read more

Guys! This place is overpriced for what you get! If you have eaten at Charley's philly grill, you would def understand the disappointment that I had when visiting this restaurant. I paid $13 for a sandwich, fries, and a bottle water, which is unusual since I have only paid a max of $8 at Charley's! Only gave a 2-star because the fries were tasty. The meat was frozen when put on the grill so I can't say that it was super fresh but overall, they accommodated me for an exchange so it was a decent experience. read more
