I can't say enough positive things about Phil and his associate! I wish I could give more stars. I am selling a property and hired someone to do something on the fireplace and turned out the person didn't know what he claimed to know and left me with a not working gas fireplace. I have it going on the market in 2 days and was in a panic because I wanted everything in working order. I called him and he came the same day!! And not only did he come but he totally fixed it for a super reasonsible price and they were incredible! I had my 3 year old son with me and they were so kind and his associate even entertained him while he wasn't helping Phil. I was in a pinch hosting Thanksgiving and both thermopiles were out and glass screens were a mess. I called a week before Thanksgiving to give it a shot to see if he could help. He was understanding, professional, and wanted to make sure he could get it done. Did great work on both. Called Phil when our gas fireplace wouldn't light. He was great, explaining everything as he went along. He went far beyond getting the fireplace to work again by repainting and adding realistic ember like material. He showed us how to make adjustments, gave us advice on proper use, and answered all our questions honestly and with our satisfaction and best use of our money in mind. Phil was terrific! He did a great job fixing my gas fireplace that kept going on and off. Guess there was a spider in the line. Then he cleaned and painted everything like new. Then, like an artist creating a sculpture, he put in rock wool to make it look more like real embers burning. I highly recommend him. Phil came to our home and checked the gas fireplace insert for any leaks and was very thorough. He checked the valve and suggested we use a longer key when operating the fireplace (which is an insert in the floor). He was very helpful and knew what he was talking about. Our pilot light went out and we don't have a model with a hand igniter and were unable to get it working. Over the phone, Phil diagnose the problem and talked us through the fix.
