I recently had a car purchase that did not turn out way Gary or I wished it to. Things happen and Gary and I discussed this before he left for vacation. They are in the process of buying it back but that has been a very uncomfortable feeling. They have my keys, they have the truck, they asked me to not cancel insurance. I do not have any receipts from them, they Have over $9,000 deposit. They did call my insurance at my request and my insurance to let them know they are in the process of paying it off, and once they have title I will be refunded all my investment. I just wish they gave that in writing. I do trust them but again, I feel it is not professional to not supply me with some kind of paperwork but I know they took have to protect themselves. They said to go cancel my plates but I can not even do that without proof from them I no longer own vehicle. They needed to tell me wait to do that too. All other dealers if a car has been turned in cause of excess mechanical issues or change of mind have always provided paperwork stating they took posession of car . I have never heard of me having to keep the insurance until they have title when they have the car not me. I know if Gary were in town this would be handled in a bit more respectful calm caring way with a better paper trail for all , not just for them. It is clear they do not want me back as a customer, is how I being made to feel at this time. I still believe they have good cars and they do their best to check them out. I know they put much into them to have them safe on the road. Cars can have issues. and they were great to respect that fact with this one after many attempts to make it right. I wish I could just give a neutral status and truly that is what it is until I have all my money back. This is a simple paperwork hell and I think it is new for all of us... so just be sure you have any car you purchase from any where checked out. Gary's team is great but these cars these days are computers, so even the greatest of techs can not predict what unfolded with this one. The crazy glitches with this one may or may not have been found out. They do rock for the fact they are purchasing it back and making me whole again. I just can not give the 5 stars I orginally did cause there has just been a bit of unease in this paperwork trail and waited return of my money. And again, they made a huge exception so I am sure it is just protocol to protect all. I have Much gratitude for them. Much more peace will be when I have the large investment back. Just sad I am made to feel they do not want me back. :( .. And it may just be till this mess is cleared up and maybe my expections or hopes are truly too high for the price range my budget is. Still give them a chance cause they do have integrity... just need to work on paperwork trail and communication a bit on these unique issues. But we are all learning thru it together, It is a lesson for us all. And they are doing well considering. I am just sad it did not work out cause it is a very beautiful truck. Gary and his team strive to get the best for the price range. Hope my honest reviews help you choose the best dealership to help you find the best car. Gary's group may still be it for you. 6/12 I needed my FZ6R inspected and a tune up. It also…read moredidn't start so I had to push start it, figured they could find out what was wrong and fix it at the shop. They mentioned that they are swamped with work right now and there's a bit of a waitlist for service, I should have called ahead of time. Either way I let Mike know what the issue was and he was kind enough to take a quick look at the bike. He try turning it on and right away mentioned there was a problem with the battery, it was not the correct one and it turned out to be bad anyway. He helped me install the new battery, also did a quick inspection and mentioned everything seemed good just recommended an oil and filter change, and to lube the chain, got me everything I needed and checked me out with a copy of the tune up specifications for the bike. I was extremely satisfied and hope they are able to service my bike soon.

After speaking with Joe for about 2hrs and 10 bikes later we realized it was an 1hr after closing and the entire staff happily chatted with us and treated my son like a sponsored racer. We pointed out that it was late and they said no worries. Never were we pressured out the door at the end of a long shift and a Friday night. I just cant say enough about Joe and these guys. My son added on the way home that I should get a job there!! Again great selection from bikes to ramps to gear. My son got to see enthusiastic riders and talk shop and not just be upsold. I love driving a scooter as a second family vehicle for fun and errands around town, I always store…read moremy scooter in winter, and I really wanted a Vespa after years of driving other brands of scooters that eventually break down. Motoworks has Vespas, so I went there. This place is high end and they clearly expect high end customers but I'm a teacher and not rich, so I hoped for some financing, much as I might if I bought a car. Motoworks encourages you to apply for financing online with a soft pull to your credit, and make an appointment beforehand to visit the showroom, so I arrived expecting an easy go of it. Happy to report sales people were enthusiastic about all their bikes when I got there, and never tried to upsell me. I appreciated that there was space to make decisions. Getting started was fine, and picking out the bike was positive. Nina encouraged me to try out different bikes on the floor until I felt comfortable, and I felt good about the bike I picked. All the people on the floor were friendly and helpful. Then things got weird. I sat around for two hours waiting to hear about financing paperwork for a 5k purchase. Nobody there gave me any insight about interest rates, expectations for money down, or even quoting a price besides the sticker amount. I was finally presented with a printout where they financed half if I paid cash for the other half, on the spot. Purchase price by then was up to 9k after taxes, freight fees, and a murky $800 "maintenance package" that had no details on paper. I wanted to leave the shop and come back the next day with my ducks in a row about the 4K cash from me, but of course they don't want you to leave. Finance lady suggested I ask the "gal" I came in with to help pay with a card. Then she asked if we were married, and told me it was OK to ask my wife to help me pay because our money was shared anyway. Thankfully my "gal" did step up with a second card, but it was an awkward surprise that didn't need to be so weird and nervy. At that point Finance lady was feeling ill, so Finance man came in to finish the sale. Finance man spoke curtly to me about parking bike on street. Finance lady offered me theft program. Why? Did they assume I lived in a bad neighborhood because I parked on the street? Plenty of people park scooters on the street all over Chicago. By now I am thoroughly rattled. After that I finally walked out and got the bike. Bike is stunning and peppy. Sales people were kind as I left. Financing guy provided registration and a plate for me to drive home with. Nina filled the bike with gas, showed me how to use the key, gave me a tee shirt, and gave me a hug before I drove off. Great stock, huge shop, and outstanding salespeople, but do your own financing before you go pick out one of these spectacular bikes.

The ease and transparency of traveling from New York to pick up the bike at their Chicago location was greatly appreciated. My husband and I purchased a bike from here and we felt we got our moneys worth. The owner and his staff were very friendly and informative. They were able to answer every single question and took their time with us even though the Store was pretty busy with other customers. I would give them 100 stars if I could. The owner not only helped lift the bike up into our truck, but went an extra step to put cardboard down in the trunk so the gasoline wouldn't leak out into the car. He also didn't just sell us a bike, he went through maintenance, and proper care of the bike with us. We left away feeling good and our son has been enjoying this bike ever since. We will definitely be coming back once our other kids are age-appropriate to ride a bike.
