DO NOT GO HERE. I…read morehad a stage 3 clutch I needed put in, I also purchased all new hardware including the throwout and pilot bearings. The driveshaft fell off the rear end. Causing a leak. I contacted them and brought the car back, they reconnected the driveshaft, but it still leaks. Then my clutch cable snapped, I brought it to another shop for replacement. And they found they DID NOT replace my bearings, DID NOT return parts to me. And improperly aligned it. Causing the throwout bearing to explode, taking the new clutch, flywheel, and clutch fork with it. I purchased all my own parts, and paid over $1,100 in labor alone for this mess. When I contacted them again, they requested the car get brought back to their shop again, and then blocked my number. This kind of shady business is once again what is ruining the auto industry

Brought my 2010 Volkswagen Jetta with 165k miles to the dealership in Joliet in 2024 for a check…read moreengine light whose code showed a transmission sensor. They advised me that to get into the trans and change that, they should replace the whole transmission for a couple hundred more, otherwise they couldn't guarantee the work. And they charged $150 for this "diagnosis". They wanted thousands of dollars for a new transmission, and I was stuck because I couldn't take the emissions test to renew my plates with a check engine light on. Brought it to Tony's Transmissions, and he replaced the sensor in a few days for a few hundred dollars. I can't remember the exact amount because I paid cash and it was about a year ago, but I just saw his business pop up when I was doing a search and remembered that I should have left him a review back then. He really did great work. Check engine light was off, car passed emissions, and we drove it for another year before selling it a friend for his teenage son. Car is still running strong.
