I've been taking my cars to Vic's for a very long time and he always does a great job. Very trustworthy and reasonable prices.

Great shop! I am a repeat customer. They do quality work and they will not sell you anything your vehicle does not need.

Roy is the man.. I had my transmission rebuilt a year ago and anytime you think something is wrong,…read morebring it in and he'll take care of you. He's honest and the work they do is great. I came from Chicago and referred from a friend in Indiana, he towed it from Chicago and told me everything that was wrong, he looks out for you and he's straight forward. Highly recommend them!

I'm a single mother with 2 children who relies heavily (like most do) on my vehicle. in march I took my van to this shop to have transmission fix. they could get it in quick and it was $500-$1000 less then other local shops. boy I wish I would have spent the money. my vehicle was throwing codes like crazy since November of 23 but driving fine. the codes even cleared after I added some transmission fluid snd I passed inspections. Come one week befor my bday and the transmission decided to just quit. I get it to atals and the cost was $3000 ( which I had to borrow. the entire week I was told it'll ready tomorrow. I had to call every day to get any information on progress. i only started daily calls after they had van for almost a week and told me it would be ready tomorrow. Well almost another week of it will be ready tomorrow did I finalvshow any frustration in my communication with the. One of the times i called the mechanic was sent to , I assume owner Cory, house to get a lawn mower. They did this in the middle of work day instead of finishing my van. Once completed the van leaked fluid on the ride home, called them and took it back in. The took drive for eclipse and was stuck in traffic where the engine became warmer than normal. I relaid this wring by saying it got over heated. I just meant to went over where it normally always sits at. Anyways they blamed trans issue on p0430 I believe which is cat converter had that checked and guy ran full diagnostic. Said cat wasn't in great shape but in no way damage transmission. Told arak who said bring it back yet again they ran own diagnostic (again) and now came up with p0420. Which is a fan error code. Atlas used this code to cancel my warranty, even though they ran codes ever other time, and swore up and down that cat converter case was the issue. Git second opinion they said trans shot, tge p0420 had nothing to do with trans issue, one can had low voltage so it wasn't always turning on but in no way would have caused this damage. Called Cory about it. He had to have employee pretend in text it was him and continue to swear up and down I messed up van. So I'm trying still to get the work done or money back. Prefer money back. Cory did offer to fix it if I got all work done to clear codes, codes that shoulda been there since march when i first brought van to them and they argeeed to do work. Cory was not going to include another warranty if he had his guy fix it again. Though warranty was erroneously invalidated. Besides codes they had bme look under van when it was raised and pointed out fluid leaking. He believed from coolant line going to trans or something like that. He touched what looked wet. Once home I touched area and it was not wet at all. it was greesy but no moisture on my fingers. I was furious! Now I am taking other actions to get my money back or work done, though I don't trust them what so ever

I referred family members to have their vehicle worked on due to no heat. I paid $200 for the…read moreservice. After they drove it a couple of times, the heat suddenly did not work. John, the store manager, said they would look at it again but the issue was never resolved. This was the second time in which we had to return a vehicle because the repair was not done correctly the first time.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE!!!!! **Please note…read morethis is a real review and detailed** I had really high hopes of liking this place. It was local, and based off the reviews being more positive than bad, I thought I had made a great choice. As a woman, I am always really nervous about taking my car for repairs and hoped the reviews wouldn't lead me astray. Oh the Lies!!!! The only thing they did right was make the appointment. My appointment was for 9am, I arrived at 9:04am due to the construction traffic on Indianapolis. When I entered the unpleasant man sitting behind the desk (who failed to greet me) asked me for my appointment time. When I told him 9 am he made no hesitation in telling me that I was late for my appointment. He began to explain to me that I had missed my appointment and that I would need to reschedule. EXCUSE ME!!!!!! He said yes, it was 9:40am! I then said, ARE YOU MESSING ME???? as it was now 9:06am. After going back and forth with the man over my appointment time and him finally verifying that it was in fact 9:06am, he then began to proceed in checking me in. During the check-in process he asked me a series of questions concerning the problems I was experiencing. This resulted in another exchange with the man about why my check engine light was not on, as he so put it -- was impossible -- based on my description of the problem. Finally, after going back and forth, he takes my keys and said they will take a look. One of the Mechanics then drove my car around the block and came back and said they determined the problem to be the "throttle body". He provided me the quote and said it would take 2 hours to repair. This was at 10:30am. Excited that I finally could get my car fixed I agreed to the service and made arrangements for a ride home. At 2:30pm (they've had my car now for 4 hours) I call to get an update. John the Manager, explained that the guy who checked my car in is no longer employed and that they THINK the problem is what they had told me earlier in the day but no work had been done. HOW????? After 4 hours not only did they NOT do the work as agreed, now they are unsure that this is the problem. After hearing my frustration, he tells me let me talk to the technician whose on lunch and he will call me back. John (the Manager) called me back as promised explaining that they did install the part and just need to test drive it to confirm its in working order and they will call back once that is completed. DIDN'T RECEIVE A CALL BACK! At 3:46pm I call back, John explains that the "throttle body" didn't resolve the problem and now they think its something else. Note: at this point I am fuming. He tells me that they needed some additional time to determine what the issue was. Be that it was late in the afternoon, I immediately asked what time do they close and he tells me 5pm and assured that he would follow-up with me prior to them closing. At 4:30pm, and still no call, I was fed up and decided to go and get my car without any notice. I arrived at 4:58pm unexpected. My car was sitting quietly in the parking lot looking as tho no work had been performed to it at all. John greeted me in the reception area and began to explain to me what he now thought was to be the problem. I cut him off because at this point I'm over the games and only wanted my car back. When I expressed to him that this was reprehensible service, he apologized and said that they removed the "throttle bottle" (although I suspect it was never placed to begin with) and that he would return my car to me at no charge. Based on my experience, this place does not perform computerized diagnostic as not once during my transaction did he make mention of placing my vehicle on a machine for review. The merely took a guess at what they thought the issue could be based upon a ride around the block. I also fully believed that they had no intentions of fixing my car the same day and planned to sit on my car for the duration of the weekend as it is a Friday.
