I've been a fan of this sub shop for a while. Although its been a while since I've come here.I've never tried their oriental dishes or burgers. I always only get their cold subs and zucchini. Their prices are very reasonable. Sandwiches are big. Really not a place where you get service with a smile, but then again...I'm not there to make friends. I want to eat! I decide to go today and order an 8" Italian cold cut sandwich with no onions and extra pickles. I forgot to ask for Italian peppers and the worker didn't offer either. Too bad, it was really missing the flavor of this to the sub. So I get my order and I sit down in my truck to eat my sandwich. I have some time to kill and I started to think about the price I was charged. Not much of a difference, but just curious as to why my estimate with taxes was different than the price I was charged. This is when I noticed I was charged 50 cents for extra pickles. Not a huge amount, but it would be nice to be told or to see a sign regarding extra charges. I didn't see a discount for the no onions order. To top that off, I only got 4 pickles. Also, why was I charged taxes on my whole order. If anything, I'm only suppose to be charged taxes on my canned soda. My sandwich was a cold food order, not a hot food order or even a combo. I know this because I'm a licensed food vendor. With the undisclosed pickle charge and the taxes that were charged incorrectly, this added up to me being overcharged by $1.12. Will I return and order from here again? Most likely. Will I keep a better eye on what I'm being charged? Without a doubt! I'm not trying to be a penny pincher, but can you imagine how many customers this happens to? It adds up in their favor and in their pockets. read more

We decided to order some sandwiches from this spot as were new to the area. I ordered the veggie and my bf ordered the pastrami. The veggie sandwich was very dry even with the avocado added it needed more condiments or they need to fry up the mushrooms they add to the sandwich. My bf said the pastrami was not the best either. French fries were good. read more

We love Philly steak and subs!! Our go to's definitely the Italian sub and the Philly steak. It is different than some Phillys we have had before but the bread !! It all comes together great! The fried zucchini is what really compliments the meal. The last time we went they gave my order to the door dash girl but they were pretty quick to fix the problem. Small family oriented business so make sure to bring your patience as it can get very busy at lunch time. read more

Visited again after a time away. Ordered the usual Angus cheese burger and mixed onion rings and zucchini.. Business was on the slow side. Plenty of workers Walked right up and ordered. Order was ready in good time..Take out... On the way driving I looked in the bag. Onion rings and zucchini were almost burnt again! No excuse Just careless workers. Burger bun was stale or dried out. Meat patty was pressed and pressed like the first time I was here ..leaving a tasteless almost leather burger patty. Paid extra for larger Angus burger. It was shrunk up it was so dry. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Overall a fail. Done right it is a great place but quality control is non existent or spotty at best. The person working the grill was only concerned about chopping/turning the cheese steak meat while my burger was being pressed to death. No longer on my recommend list. 4 1/2 stars. What a find, tucked away in a strip center. Asian owned and operated with a diverse menu from Korean food to Philly cheese steak sammie's. Dine t in or take out, I was shocked to hear from the owner that this place has been around for fifteen years! I went for the 12" Philly cheese steak with mushrooms, bell peppers and a full order of onion rings. The roll was light & fluffy - steak, peppers and mushrooms were finely chopped with a generous amount of melted cheese. The service from the gal at the counter was friendly and the food was up pronto. I'll definitely be making this a regular stop. read more

Alright Yelpers, let me give you the real deal on this place and it's Philly Steak sub. It's not bad at all! Then again, I really don't have much to compare it to. I am reminded of Philly's Best, so you may consider that a compliment to this location. Now the menu brags of various items, salads, burger specials, spaghetti, Korean BBQ, cold and hot sub sandwiches, and even Boba drinks. It's all sorts of variety and this particular location has been around for quite some time. Variety may have kept it open for as long as it has, especially having more commercial competitors down the street. Still, it's a great place for locals. Back to the Philly Steak. Great sliced thin meat, topped with bell peppers and onion, massive sandwich, but the mayonnaise on my sandwich managed to distract my tongue palette from the glory that is called a Philly steak. I'm willing to try this place again, since my brother is such a fan and hasn't had a Philly steak sandwich in a long time. There are comfy booth seating inside, and the guy behind the counter humored my brother and I as we were both ready to wrestle each other to the ground because of our bickering over some nonsense that we usually throw at each other. Great hole in the wall sandwich shop. Dropped car off next door at America's Tire at 10am and this place was open. I've seen great reviews and wanted to taste! The small sandwich, 6", was perfect. AND the bread is great. A great sandwich starts with great bread. I could eat the bread just by itself. It's that good. Wanted to try onion rings but they were still making them. The Philly steak sandwich is great! The meat and veggies option is juicy. The onion rings and fried zucchini and made to order. The boba options used to be great but the last few times they've tasted more like a powered mix and gives it almost a creamy flavor. Not a good mix. read more

I was hungry and I was looking for somewhere to get lunch. I yelped for a place to get a good chicken sandwich. I ran across Philly Steak and Sub on Main Street in Hesperia. When I walked in I wasnt really impressed by the decor but it was clean. I also found it odd that the napkins and utensils were sitting so close to the trash can. Customer service was great! The place was packed and the cashier was patient but quick and extremely polite. You can tell she was use to the lunch hour rush. She was taking orders and cleaning tables. I ordered my chicken sandwich and stood around waiting for my order and a loyal customer began talking to me. He said he orders the Philly cheesesteak and fries several times a week and it's always good. So I was excited because I just order a Philly chicken cheesesteak and fries. My chicken cheesesteak and fries were hot and smelled delicious. The sandwich was packed with chicken. I could see the cheese oozing out the sandwich and I just knew it was going to melt in my mouth. I bit into the sandwich and it was good. Yeah, I said good. It had a nice taste to it but I had to add some hot peppers and a little ketchup. The fries were piping hot but smelled so good I had to eat them. I said I was hungry. lol The fries with a little ketchup hit the spot. I could only eat half of the sandwich and fries but I was pleased with my meal. So I might go back if ever in the area. read more

Obviously it's not ya traditional Philly cheese steak but it's a good sandwich.. if you something close to it ask for American cheese on the Philly it gives you that cheese wiz taste and the pastrami is good when you ask for it chopped in my opinion. I've come here severally times now.. subs are really good. The location is not a very big one so large groups could easily pack this place 7 or more. Staff are pretty cool at least they are when I come in. Food is fresh and made to order. I prefer the pastrami ( no cheese tho) they can keep that.. "No body needs the bubble guts". Never too much of a wait time unless you come during lunch hour. It can get a little packed. The philly steak sub is tasty too not overbearing with the onions and bell peppers.. sort of a good balance.. like professional ice skater . My experience has always been good here read more

My girlfriend and I broke down on the 15 headed south to Newport and had to get towed to a shop in town (It was called Freedom Auto Repair & they are amazing!) We went on yelp to find a bite to eat while we killed time waiting on the truck to be fixed and found this place. It's located in between other shops in a strip mall and didn't look like anything special, but we weren't coming here for an elegant dinner. We were hungry and wanted great food fast. We were greeted by the very friendly employees, where they took our order at the counter. My gf and I ordered a classic philly cheese steak, fries and a thai tea with boba! *Super excited and surprised that this place had boba (and it was excellent!)
