4.5 stars for me, this place was really yummy! I got the onion cheese steak, my partner got the cheese steak deluxe, and we also shared some garlic fries. The sandwiches were a pretty huge portion for being a "small" and they were super cheesy, the bread was soft, and everything was served hot and fast. The tomatoes and lettuce did throw the cheese steak deluxe off a bit, just because everything got a little too warm and you basically ended up with hot, soggy lettuce and tomato -- my partner had to pull these off the sandwich. The portion of the garlic fries we received were also shockingly small; it looks like you can either get a small or large but I don't recall being asked about a specific size, however if we got a small order, it still felt like we were skimped out on! I would totally go here again though! I'd like to try a few other things off their menu. read more

A GREAT Medicine for your cravings!! I ordered their Deluxe Cheese Steak with a side of garlic fries to go. I don't think they really use the traditional cheeze whiz that's usually available in your cheese steak nor they put traditional toppings on them. But, the cheese melts nicely on the meat and I love button mushrooms which I think they put in there for extra textural diversity. Went here for the first time today with the family and we were definitely not disappointed. I love a good philly and sometimes get so disappointed by the chewiness of the meat, NOT here though. The meat is so tender, the onions and peppers were soft and perfectly cooked, and the flavor was delicious!!! This place was amazing and definitely one of the best philly's that any of us have had. It's a shame that we don't live nearby and were just traveling through town, but man oh man, were these tasty!!!! I randomly found Philly Ya Belly on Yelp, and it is my new favorite spot! It's right off of highway 99, and has the most savory cheesesteaks I've ever had in my life. So far, my favorite is the mushroom cheesesteak (pictured below). The bread just melted in my mouth and the meat was so finely cut. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The best part about Philly Ya Belly is how warm and genuine the service is. The owners are so sweet! They genuinely smile and it just makes my day! The restaurant is also SUPER clean. Yesssssss. I cannot believe that it took me so long to stop by this place! Talk about an excellent surprise. Hubs and I came in early on a Friday evening. It wasn't overly crowded, so we were able to order our food fairly quickly. I ordered the small onion cheese steak, hubs had the belly buster mushroom onion cheese steak and we split a small order of the garlic cheese fries. Our food came out quick and piping hot. My sandwich was so good! The bread was incredibly soft, the meat was tender and flavorful. I opted for the white cheese and it was a good choice. I'm glad I ordered the small, because it was pretty darn huge. I could barely finish it. Hubs had the belly buster and that thing was enormous. The garlic cheese fries were good, they come topped with cheese whiz and so much garlic--definitely not a first date dish! I didn't really like the Philly cheesesteaks that everyone else raved about on their review. It might just be me but I like my bread a bit toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. I did not like the soft Italian bread... I like it when there's a nice crunch of toastyness when I bite into my Philly cheesesteak. I also think the meat was subpar then again I think I'm picky (again), but I like my meat a bit chunky too. I definitely enjoyed the cheese fries! And would really like to try their mozzarella cheese next time I come. I would have to say thought the serving size is pretty big. I haven't had much cheesesteak over the course of my life. I'm really going to have to pick up the pace if this is what it's going to taste like. I got a large Cheese Steak Deluxe, which came on a 9-inch roll loaded with goodies, and I mean STUFFED. Copious amounts of meat with peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, onions and jalapeños (an extra), topped with melted American cheese. Words cannot do justice how savory this was, with that incredible melted cheese taste and texture on one hand juxtaposed with the tender white bread, softened with the juices of its fillings on the other. I went in incredibly hungry, yet found myself left with a third of my sandwich and half of my fries left. Who knew this gem was hiding less than a mile from me. Well my waist thanks my ignorance. What a great place for a cheese steak. The restaurant is very old school and dated but the staff are very friendly. I got the Mushroom and onion with white american cheese. The bread was soft and amazing. The steak mix was super hot but not very greasy. The cheese brought it all together. Stick to your mouth melty goodness. We also got the garlic cheese fries with old school cheez whiz. You dont need the garlic on this just hot crisp fries and melty tasty fake cheese goodness. The only downside I found to the whole experience was the christian rock playing in the kitchen. This place seems to get pretty close to east coast cheesers as far as taste goes. However, Their hoagie rolls are too short, unfortunately. They are about half as long as a real Philly cheese steak sandwich. Prices here are high but, the quality is good. I Haven't found any place better on the west coast yet. My wife loves the mushroom pepper onion and I love the pepper onion cheesesteaks. The belly buster size is generous. The Reuben was decent, maybe someone who loves tons of mustard would love it. The garlic fries are VERY garlicky and the cheesesteak fries are not worth the money (very soggy and not enough steak). But to each their own. In my opinion their standard fries are great on their own. All in all this is the best cheesesteak place I have found in the area and I will continue to come back when I'm craving one. If you are craving a philly cheese steak, this is the best local spot. Great for the money. I usually have been going for the pepper &onion with white cheddar for years. The roll is even soft and not hard at all, the details matter to me. My wife has been going there for 15+ years, and my kids are fiends for them and their fries. What can I say, every time I go I am never disappointed. The food tastes great. Customer service is exceptional too. The prices could be less; however, when I was growing up in the 80's a candy bar was .25, and a burger, small fry and drink were $1.25. My point is, prices could always be less but the times call for them to somewhere in the ballpark they are. Lastly, the amount of food is a great deal. Let's be honest, a Philly Cheesesteak is not some light eating. Try it! If you don't have a good experience share with the establishment as they will listen and address the concerns.
