In a quest to bring "healthy-ish" snacks to my tabletop gaming group (i.e. not gorge in sugar-laced bliss on munchkins and the like) I decided, rather on a whim, to stop into Philly Soft Pretzel Factory for their 'rivets'. Thanks to my handy-dandy Yelp app, I quickly located this shop and loaded directions. Thanks, Yelp! This location clearly was at one time likely an ice-cream stand, however they've converted it nicely into a store with a walk-up window. Bonus: This location also serves hand-dipped ice cream, which is a kind of genius. Everyone knows that pretzels dipped in vanilla ice cream makes for a heavenly treat. Also I love ice cream. I remembered at the last moment though that I was there for something 'reasonably healthy', so I with some effort ignored the lovely ice cream waiting for me. I ordered a large box of 'rivets' which came with two dipping sauces. I chose the most popular - spicy mustard and cinnamon dip. I also got a pretzel dog because, well, they were there and I was resisting the ice cream and had to have something. Both items were delivered promptly and packaged for easy carry. They were friendly and efficient. With one last longing glance at the ice cream, I left. The rivets were a huge hit, they were fresh, with just the right amount of salt, and the dips were well received too. The hot dog was fine, not something I'd order every day but a nice treat. I'll definitely be back.

Been here twice so far and based on the other most recent reviews I'm not surprised about the customer service. As soon as you walk in, the cashier don't even give you a damn chance to even say "How you doing?" He yells out "Can I help you"? Smh The first time I came to this location I told him "Yeah, you got to give me a second" like damn give me a chance to walk through the door first dude. They need to take him off the register for a little while, seriously. Other than that, my pretzels were hot and fresh taste delicious when I got home. They were so good I returned I think a couple days later. It's a deal in my eyes if you can get 5 pretzels for $3.00. Can't beat that plus they have more deals than that. They have the different pretzel dips like cinnamon, salted caramel, chocolate, and different mustards too. Ice cream, pizza pretzels, and pretzel dogs. Don't have no complaints really from me but Mr. Impatient up front. Going there later on actually but if this keep up with him, my 3rd and final...Here

[441] I've visited this location a ton of the last decade and I've always received high quality product at a more then reasonable price. We've ordered a ton of pretzel trays for various occasions. Today I stopped in to see that they renovated a month or so ago and it looks great. The customer area is bigger and brighter. They have sandwiches and tons of pretzel choices (salted .. no salt.. smaller ones and mini ones).. Tons of purchasing choices. My son doesn't like the salt and this was the first place I found where it's sold without salt so no more scrapping for him. The kitchen area is open and VERY clean. The staff was really friendly. Plenty of offstreet parking. They have a walkup window and a bench for seating. Favorite pretzel spot! We will definitely be back..

Don't go here!!!Went there to get a few pretzels, I said hello when I walked in the door and the cashier said "how can u help you." I ordered pretzels and got home as you can see they are burned. I called and spoke to the manager, Emily, she was disinterested and dismissive and said "okay" Horrible customer service. Save your money and time and go to another Pretzel Factory where they don't sell burnt pretzels

I left here excited for my next trip and already picked out what I will be trying next! I can't believe I waited this long to walk in to this restaurant and now sit a spell! The greeting into the restaurant comes first, as a first time customer we were really shocked when we were given red carpet treatment. When we let them know that we had never been there before, they immediately served us with a sample tray of their different sauces, and relishes. The soup was amazing, a lasagna soup, the milkshakes were INCREDIBLE!! we had their classic chili hot dog, cheese fries and patty melt. It was an insanely delicious!! Off the charts! Their menu has soooo many things to choose from. The staff was just the best ever. Engaging, friendly, fast and efficient. Smiling and welcoming. And the atmosphere?? Walking in 1950's with the amazing decorations, music, and party condiments. They even had candy caramels at the bar countertop!! Can't wait to go back again!

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, what most people don't even realize is a paramount feature here is that Relish has freaking outstanding relish! So many different kinds. All made in-house and to different flavor types and to meet the interest and palates of every kind of person there is. I have been here a handful of times and each time has been a good experience. Everything is always fresh, the people are always nice, and it is never lacking on the neighborhood place kind of feeling. The most recent foray with Relish was during a game day at a nearby friend's house. We ordered for pick up and everything was ready to go. Despite a hiccup in the order with one item being incorrect, it was all perfect. This was when I got the chicken fingers, which were outstanding. Not the absolute best in the area, but definitely up there in the lofty top three spots for sure. I normally do not like places that have a huge hype surrounding them, but considering that everything that I have had here has been outstanding and that it is a neighborhood spot it has led me to cut through that feeling and really lean into how much I really like this place. Although I don't get to come here that often, it is a great place I like to stop at on a whim. My favorite thing on the menu is the hot sausages which I get with sauerkraut each time, and usually pepper it with whatever specialty relish I happen. To be feeling at the time. If you love a good hot dog, a quick bite that is beyond just something basic and boring, or love the feel of a traditional Delco lunch spot, Relish is for you. Definitely stop here when you can, and more than once. They even have soup when it gets colder out, which as you know for me is a mega highlight!

The person at the counter who took our order was actually not very nice. We had questions about the menu but she sat there and stared at us instead of answering. That's fine. My husband and I enjoy awkward and slightly rude interactions. Not everyone is having a good day. My husband ordered the number 3 which was the double steak burger California with cheese fries. He pulled off most of the onions but thought the burger was actually pretty good. He said he'd return. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich with French fries. I really liked the shape of the fries. They were like shoe string fries but softer. Unfortunately both my fries and my sandwich was overly salty. I tried knocking off the salt on the fries and adding ketchup on the sandwich but couldn't overcome all the salt. We shared a turtle concrete. It was just okay. It got soupy very quick. I think because it's custard...maybe. overall, we both agreed on a 2 for this place given the setbacks but we'd come back for something quick if we're in the mood.

It feeds with equal care the souls who never left, the faithful and the wanderers who departed yet return whenever the heart grows heavy. I ordered the Satchmo, a buffalo chicken, Italian hoagie, ham hoagie, 4 chicken tenders and fries which came to a grand total of $85. Phew. This was my first time here, but I've heard the food and cheese steaks were great so I was ok with things at this point. I placed my order for pickup and was told it would be 20 minutes. I came in around the 20ish minute mark and waited for 25 more minutes. There was only 1 other person waiting with me. I did see 3-4 other people come in pickup and leave while I waited, but it wasn't busy by standards. While waiting is when I when I observed how unorganized and dis shoveled the staff were. The lady upfront was kind, attentive, and seemed to be running the show putting orders together. But, when she asked for help she didn't get any. She asked another staff member to help bag a specific sandwich for an order, several times, and it went in the guys ear and right out the other. I could also hear them scrambling in the back working on my order, and complaining about how many Italian hoagie orders came in right at the same time. Maybe they were behind, maybe they accidentally let mine go with a different order? This is all speculation but they were definitely overwhelmed and it shouldn't have taken that long for my order. The cheese steaks were good, and the Italian hoagie was very hearty! They do not skimp on meat, but the hoagie bread was so hard most of it was thrown away. I don't care for shredded gums. Overall, not a good first time experience. Minus a star for the price, minus a star for the delayed pickup time, and minus 1/2 for the rock hard Italian hoagie bread. The steaks were good but everything else outweighed the food quality.

You could definitely call and order ahead, but I didn't have a long wait since the lunch rush was likely over. They were still busy and I probably waited 15 minutes for my sandwich. I went with a large cheesesteak which was insanely large. This could easily be split between two grown men. Lucky for me, I had leftovers the next day. I also snagged a bag of chips from the giant selection and a soda for the road. There are no tables inside and it was winter so I took it to go. Even though I hadn't eaten all day, I held off until I got to my hotel about 30 minutes away where I proceeded to devour half of this overstuffed cheesy monstrosity of a sandwich in the front seat of my car (had to wait to check in). I was in shaved steak heaven for the rest of the day. The Korean burger and sandwich were nice new flavors, both very flavorful and unique! I hope they're not too strong or different for some folks though and really hope they're here to stay. I've had some amazing American style burgers and sandwiches in Korea, better than most chains in the US, but this is the first time I've seen Korean burgers here haha. I will say they aren't my most favoritest shake shack burgers, but are pretty freaking close like if they could somehow mash them up with a good ol shroom burger, that would be the absolute ultimate mind bending burger I'd have ever had in my life xD My only slightest of concerns would be if you're ordering to go, please order 20-30 min prior to arrival via the Shake Shack website or app. The friendly staff were kind enough to inform me that the order had only been received on their screen about 15 after my arrival since they saw me waiting for a while. After that it took about 10-15 min to complete. I had placed the order on my phone just as I'd arrived at the location to see how long it takes. Upon a quick search, it looks like they send your mobile order to the kitchen 15 minutes before the pickup time shown to you in the app/website, which is to give you time to get there and to ensure the order is freshly made. Makes sense! Though I wish it was made clear online since most fast food places send the order right away or when you arrive. Note to future self: place order before leaving the house!
