Really good!!! I was a bit hesitant on coming bc a lot of places like to use powder for their fruit teas. Not here! It's fresh and not too sweet. I got myself the Thai milk tea. Lightly sweet, smooth and refreshing! Charisu bao was pretty decent. Meat was flavorful. I would definitely get it again! Service is fast and extremely nice! They were very helpful with our questions and really go the extra mile to make our experience great. So glad I don't have to drive 30 min to get Boba now. Go check them out!

Today was my second visit Yum Cha and this time, unlike the first time, the owner was not present, but everything was just as wonderful, and the service and people were just as upbeat, quick to serve, and helpful with questions. I have to say upfront, that I am not a fan of boba, I do NOT UNDERSTAND the obsession, despite having had the individually crafted beverage many times, made different each time in the hopes of finding something that I enjoy. However, there is something disquieting to me about sucking up chunks of tapioca or little cellulose balls filled with flavored liquids inside of my drink that turn a beverage into a meal that is off-putting to me. However, my daughters, these younger generations, and seemingly everyone else loves it, and can't get enough. Maybe I'm just a curmudgeon. Despite not being a fan of a general beverage/food type, I can tell when care and love is put into a craft, and that is exactly what is happening at Yum Cha. They also have something that I DO enjoy and have been searching for all over Delco for with no avail for, for some time... Vietnamese coffee. I have not been able to find it anywhere until now. Not only do they make it and have it prominently displayed on their menu, but it is made with perfection, traditionally, or modifiable with all the goofy accoutrement you would normally add to any wacky boba order. The ratios are perfect and the silky smooth, sweet experience they mix and pour is just as good as the very first places I experienced this drink on Washington Ave in Philly many moons ago at the lauded OG spots so many people know. Did I mention that they also offer an array of buns? You don't have to only come in for coffee or boba. You can also enjoy a finely made bun of several varieties that I was told are made by some of the best bao shops in NYC and brought in fresh several times a week. I had a chance to try the dai bao today that has all sorts of interesting things inside of it, and was blown away by the melding of many flavors, yet still being able to maintain the perfect softness, moistness, and consistency of the bun, all while providing a perfectly cooked and piping hot interior. It also is the most massive bun I think I've ever encountered. Easily enough for a full sized meal in one palm. Yum Cha is relatively new and is small but it is amazing. Its location is a little bit hard to find, but in the warm months it has a great spot right on Lincoln Ave in Prospect Park that is super accessible especially for walk up traffic on a summer night. This is a hidden gem right here in the community that everyone should not pass up. If you are a boba fan or are in the mood to try something delicious and quick that you may have never had before, this is definitely a place that you should be checking out. The prices are reasonable, the staff is excited about their craft, and it is set up for a quick in-and-out. What is not to love? I will be coming here many more times in the future I am sure, not simply because my girls will somehow con me into getting them boba, but for the Vietnamese coffee alone for sure!

Taro milk tea with tapioca pearls (boba)

Tried Bao for the first time ever here at it was AMAZING!!! My partner tried the char sui and loved it. I tried the chicken and then, the red bean. The texture of the bao and the flavor of the ingredients for each one - chef's kiss. I also tried taro milk tea with tapioca pearls (boba) for the first time here. I've had boba before, just not taro. The taro was a pleasant surprise. Very good! My partner tasted mine and immediately made me turn around and drive back to the cafe to buy her one! Lol Our kid was with us and got the strawberry tea with strawberry popping bubbles. They loved it and, absolutely wanna go back! I think this is the only local place to get boba in Ridley now and, I definitely wanna support them so they can stick around. The owners are great! They're super welcoming and very helpful if you're not sure what you wanna try. It's a chill spot to pop into on a hot day or for a quick meet with a friend or first date. We've been back a couple times already. These are some photos from times we visited.

Taro Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls and Coffee Jelly. Perfect blend of sweet and creamy, must try!

When I first stopped in here it was in a whim, and although they do have a selection of whimsical, sweet, dare I say, ridiculous and sweet coffee beverages, they were able to make me a traditional Italian macchiato. I had been unable to find a good, even passable REAL macchiato anywhere, and they delivered in spectacular fashion. Not only was the drink silky, strong, and small, it was made with outstanding Italian roasted espresso that has a different character than the standard, heavier-roasted American palate has come to be used to. This alone would have been enough for me to return time and time again when I was in the area, but after getting breakfast sandwich on a whim, this instantly became a weekly stop; more than that, a destination. Fast forward a few years and the initial attraction of coffee, sandwich, and friendly staff has transformed into a beautiful relationship where I can easily walk in, everyone knows me before I am all the way through the door, and even knowing my idiosyncrasies, are still excited to see me and listen to me prattle on about whatever might be the story of the day. The time spent here has given me the opportunity to try nearly everything on the menu and try every drink available. Including all the dry goods, pasta for sale, frozen trays of delicious Italian staples, and more. I am not one to just stick to the things I know I enjoy as I am always on a journey for something interesting and exciting, so whenever something shows up I am getting that rather than something in my "comfort zone". This has led to me traditionally losing interest or finding that the quality of a place declines for myself over time, especially multiple years. Not the case here at Napoletano, it has only done the exact opposite and gotten much more rewarding and somehow even more delicious and embracing of people and everyone who comes through the door. This brings me to my most recent food adventures into the menu here, the newest additions for the most part, the added amazing hoagie list. I have had two. The first I tried was the Gondolier, which I was enamored with for weeks. I had been there too early to order lunch time and time again, and then FINALLY, one day it was about time for lunch to be available and Michelle, the wonderful woman running the front of house and so much more, was able to get me this sandwich just a bit early. It had it all....outstanding bread, roasted red peppers, seriously premium meats, both standard deli and cured. However, something just missed the mark for me. I couldn't believe it. I don't know what and I don't know why. I was immediately disappointed, likely because I had hyped this up in my head for so long and I have come to expect so much from Napoletano, I simply couldn't believe that this wasn't the best hoagie I had ever enjoyed. That fact has eaten at me for at least a month now, but today that all changed, and is possibly why I finally found my voice to put all my thoughts together an write this after so many years. During my visit to say hello today, I realized it was once again right around the time where I could order sandwiches. I toyed with the thought of the cutlet sandwiches or even the Cuban which is amazing, but after going around and around and around talking to everyone working about this and that, I finally decided on another hoagie; the Sicilian. Kris, another of my favorite people along with Fanny (who was on vacation) helped me inch toward this one based on my description of my whole previous experience, and tbh is sandwich is so interestingly unique. Topped with lemon and orange zest, it doesn't sound like it would work, but once you take your first bite, you begin to examine your entire existence. Why have you never had a specialty Italian hoagie topped with citrus zest??? The question has been running through my head all day since lunch, and I still cannot understand why I haven't been enjoying something like this my entire life. So many years lost of amazing sandwich experiences.....this sandwich was so divine, despite looking slightly barren and strange, that it blew apart my entire disappointment I had been holding since the gondolier. I will absolutely try the other four in the list. I would have anyway, but this definitely took that mission off of life support and put it front and center. There are so many reasons to go to Napoletano. I could spend another thirty paragraphs writing about what is great about this place, the people, the drinks, the space, all of it. But instead of doing that, you should just go here. Even if you're not close, and enjoy!

The guy working behind the register was nice and not afraid to talk about their menu. The menu has various: milk teas, sparkling fruity drinks, Vietnamese coffee, fruit tea, healthy juices, smoothies, signature milk drinks and milk foams. They have several toppings for an extra charge. On my first visit he made a tasty Vietnamese iced coffee. Medium $5.75 and Large $6.75. He balanced the condensed milk and coffee just right for my liking - not too sugary with a good mostly bold earthy roasted coffee flavor. On my second visit I wanted to try one of their "healthy juices". The same guy recommended either the Tropical Twist (pineapple + apple + orange + kale) or the Miami Vice (pineapple + apple + celery + beetroot). I went with the Tropical Twist $9.50 for a medium. The flavors were fresh and not overly sweet. I tasted mostly orange and pineapple. It was refreshing on a warmer spring day. I also ordered a hot Vietnamese coffee.... I wanted it black, but it came with condensed milk. The milk was a little on the heavy side, but it was tasty. I'll have to report on their black coffee when I stop back and post a picture. I'm new to the juice game, but $9.50 seemed high and $5.75 for a cup of black coffee is ridiculous. I'd say I've had two good experiences visiting Bunny Bubble Tea. Thanks guys!

Parking was easy, if there's none in front, the residential streets just around the corner are pretty open.
