    Chicken sub with fries! Deliciousness
    Donyiel C.

Hands down, one of my favorite food trucks in the city! Although it was 105 degrees out today, I patiently waited for this truck (they're that good). The customer service is awesome. The food is great. Definitely check these guys out!

Pretty solid food truck. I appreciated the use of cheesewiz and the seasoning on the fries. I actually really loved the fries. I have to mention that my food was nice and hot from the time I received my order, walked back to my training class and decided to eat about 10 minutes later. That let me know my food was freshly made! Even the fries. For $10 bucks you get a good portion. I stuffed my face until I couldn't anymore and still had about half left. Next time I would forgo the lettuce on my sub being the food was so hot my lettuce did become a little wilted. The sub was nice and juicy and the bun did a good job of holding it all together. My only criticism for this place would be the lack of seasoning of the meat. This was something that almost could not go overlooked. I didn't get hot peppers, not sure if they have them or not, but this probably would've gave it the kick I was looking for hence the lack of seasoning. Still a great sub!!!

I tried Philly Mike's Steak on one of my recent Food Truck adventures. I am surprised there are not more cheesesteak or steak and cheese whichever you want to call it food trucks out there, I feel like it is a product people want and lends itself to be served out of the back of a truck. Philly's Mike is a welcome addition to the steak and cheese food truck industry and while their product isn't great, it is still good. The prices are good, for 7 dollars you get a decent sized sandwich. I ordered the Mike's Special which is an extra dollar. Sandwich was good, steak was quality and plentiful. Flavor was okay but not especially good, bread was fresh as was the produce. Sandwich was a bit too greasy for my taste but that is expected. Decent food truck option and I could see myself returning if their in my area, special trips aren't a must but I'd at least cross a street to give them another shot.

Do not eat from this food truck. First they got my order wrong. They didn't put mushrooms. I went back and the guy remade my cheesesteak. Before walking away I checked my order and he forgot lettuce and tomatoes so he added them. I begin to eat my cheesesteak and discover plastic is in it. I assume it's from the cheese wrapper because I asked for American cheese. Additionally it's too much pepper on the meat. Awful experience. I hope I don't get sick.

So I read the reviews and I was not sure I would try it but I didn't see any food trucks that excited me o I decided to give it a go. I must have caught them on a good day or ordered the right Sandwich as I was pleasantly surprised. I order the Pizza Steak and it was fine. I saw the "beef" and it wasn't dry (could be the marinara) :) The fries were well seasoned with old bay and even after a 7-8 minute walk to my office the fries were not soggy. So they have stepped up their game or I caught them on a good day. Either way for $10 with drink and fries I was plenty satisfied. I would definitely try it again but to be safe I'll eat the pizza steak again. Not feeling "frisky" and not desiring an experience like some of the others. Definitely try it and judge for yourself

Really legit cheesesteaks. They even make a fantastic vegetarian option that I highly recommend.

This is my first Philly cheesesteak sandwich ever!

The steak was full of meat, and it had lots of really good fries seasoned with old bay.

I was still a little hesitant until this nice woman came along and vouched for the food. I had no idea about what to order, but as soon as I saw her food come out I was sold. I told the guys to give me exactly what she had, which included a quarter chicken, corn, and potatoes. I got back up to my office and enjoyed all of it. The chicken was well done and well seasoned, the corn was tasty, and the potatoes were better than what I was expecting. Can't really explain it but they were like roasted and mashed at the same time.. whatever it was it was great! Oh and that sweet orange sauce that they gave me took the chicken to another level. Insert fire emojis Lastly, the guys working the truck were some of the coolest food truck people that I've ever interacted with. Combine that with good food and you can def count on my coming back again.

Both times I've ordered the same thing - a quarter dark meat with one side. It comes with basmati rice (which you can sub out for a different side) and a choice of a salad, coleslaw, and corn. I've chosen the coleslaw both times - I find it so unique, with its cabbage and basil-like dressing. Definitely NOT your usual slaw. I will try the corn one of these days, though. On to the chicken - They give you a good amount of chicken and it is very, very juicy. I can't comment about the skin (I don't eat the skin, I take it off...I know to some of you that's a sin!) but my co-workers have previously commented that it is nicely seasoned. They also provide you with a mild barbeque sauce, and today they gave me a new sauce, which was curry-based. It's slightly thicker than the barbeque sauce, which while it has good flavor, is a bit thinner (it complements, not overpowers, the chicken). I alternated between both sauces today. I have to also complement the owner/manager - I had exactly $8 in cash (keep forgetting about the taxes for food trucks!) so he let me go without paying the $.80, that was really nice of him. I'll be sure to give it back to him next time! Overall, a solid, filling meal, and I would return!

There it was. Big, green and ugly. The Halal Grill food truck. We got in line and all of a sudden this older gent with glasses comes up to me as he was passing by and says "Hi sir, how are you?" "Fine, except for this tarzan heat". He says "you like Pakistani food?" , I reply "sure, like I like my Pakistani women, scrumptuous and SPICY!" Then I realized he was the owner or something when he offered to let me taste the food before I chose wisely. They offered chicken and lamb chunks on flavorful basmatti rice or a pita. Side salad included, and everything topped with a yogurt and or spicy red sauce. I decided to go with the chicken bites and both sauces. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be, but it was good. It actually had a nice even flavor. The people in the truck were really friendly too. So for the overall experience I'm giving them 4 stars. Be sure to check them out yourself.
