We left extremely happy with our experience, and every single thing we ordered was TOP TIER. The service was cheerful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The prices were reasonable to us so no complaints there. We ordered a grilled chicken salad, a cheesesteak sub, sweet chili lemon pepper wings, and funnel fries. Everything was delicious, but my personal favorites were the grilled chicken salad and the wings. Even after driving home, the food held up perfectly. The salad, despite having hot grilled chicken on top, stayed fresh and crisp--no wilting whatsoever! That level of quality and care truly stood out. I'm honestly shocked that the reviews don't reflect how amazing this place is. There's no way I'd even consider American Deli next door--but that's just me! Always our go to spot! Ownership has changed but still get quality food and cheesesteaks. Owner is always in there when we go and he always makes sure we have what we need and attended to. Not really much to say here other than there has to be better customer service and better management of products stock. Sadly, I have had issues each time I've ordered from this location. Either they run out of product, don't answer their phone lines, or the last incident I encountered a week ago, was they gave my delivery order to the wrong delivery driver. Imagine starving waiting almost an hour on a guaranteed 35 minute delivery time to get a call that your order was placed into wrong hands. I WAS LIVID!!!!!!! I will admit, the manager on duty that particular day did make an effort to make it right. Although I was appreciative, at that point I was completely over it! I am surprised this place is still in business. I ordered 2 orders of Hot lemon pepper wings and let me tell you they were disgusting. I have been to multiple places and it is hard to mess up chicken wings. Both orders were burned and the wings were dark as if they were cooked in dirty oil. Our Philliy Cheesesteaks were very good. You definitely get a lot of meat on them to the point it's falling off. The price does not include the fries and drink but for $3.35 you can add them on. It can be pricey if your getting more than one sandwich. The menu is very easy to read and simple to follow. The seating is limited but I noticed most come in and order take out. Hot sauce and ketchup can be found on each table. The staff was very nice and even brought us out some funnel cake fries to try. We were craving cheesesteak, should have kept going to our original destination for hamburgers. We came in just before noon, the tables were already/still filthy, the staff very underwhelming, and the place is just really rundown and generally gross. The food doesn't smell good when it's being cooked, it seriously reminded me of the Purina plant down south of Atlanta. The food had zero flavor at all. The only decent thing were the fries...and the fountain drinks...and my daughter's bag of chips. Definitely a miss. Big miss. We spent the same amount of money at La Parilla for dinner the other night and had much more food with massively higher quality than this. Don't waste your time. Horrible customer service. After paying $26 for a 10inch and a 5inch philly combos, they tried to charge me additional money for asking for honey mustard. I've been eating philly connection since I 5 years old. We've never been charged for sauce. Their phillys are also $1 more than all the other locations! Owner is extremely rude and loud as well. OMG! My family and I use to enjoy coming here. BUT TODAY was horrible. There's new management and it shows. My son and I ordered two of the combo lunches that included a sandwich and 6 wings. My daughters went in here last night to try some wings. A 15pc and 10 piece hot with lemon pepper that were some of the nastiest wings ever! Like how do you mess up the most popular type of wings. They were breaded and they had a grease taste. My daughter called back last night and was told to return by the lady working the front today for a refund (we still have the nasty wings and was returning them as well). I told my daughter to call and make sure there is no problems returning as we have plans and can only swing by for refund except today the "owner" answered the phone and stated he was not going to refund us. When you walk in you're immediately hit with a thick smell of grease in the air. Even the staff look sweaty and dirty! This paired with the angry guy behind the counter rapidly asking "do you want fries?" 100 times and oddly offering funnel cake fries too; I'm looking for the exit. I walked into the restaurant and it smelled of old grease. The three employees, the only ones there, were enjoying a meal at a front table. They promptly got up when I arrived. One put on gloves and took my order and money. Another proceeded to make my cheese steak without gloves. I asked her if it's policy to wear gloves while preparing food, she said yes, and THEN put some on. The third employee didn't even drop the onion rings until the sandwich was already made. So the money handler wore gloves and the food preparer handled the food with naked hands, knowing what policy was. No one said thank you when transaction was complete.
