Conveniently located near Pats and Geno's, we went here when we saw the Rim Cafe was closed, which is right across the street. We immediately noticed the similarities between the cannoli King and the rim Café. Many of the same products, and they even sell rim café merchandise in the store!
We ordered the hot chocolate, which is our goat to at the rim café. It was an incredible letdown at $10 a cup, compared to what you get at rim. At rim, the hot chocolate is an experience as you watch them make it for you. At the cannoli King it was a hot and milky drink with very little chocolate flavor. It was a severe disappointment, compared to the hot chocolate at rim, despite the similarities in the stores.
I'd assume the cannolis are just as good, in fact, I'm assuming they are exactly the same. But if you want a hot drink, I definitely recommend getting to the rim café before they close before coming to the cannoli king.
We lucked out with parking and got one of the hour parking spots by Geno's. A lot of options in this area, you come here hungry and you'll find something you like. read more
