Don't stop here unless you like to pay to use the restroom. Sign should just say if your not local we don't want to see you!

Ewwwww. The bathroom was beyond disgusting. Don't stop here if you're with kids & need to do any diaper changes.

I was slightly greeted when I walked in but you could tell you were At Quick Trip or Kum and Go where they go out of their way to say hello. Oh well thats Shell

This "Truck Stop" also has a restaurant on premises (Red Bird Diner) which looked pretty busy when I stopped in yesterday for gas. I guess this place is a hit with the rural locals. Shell has more modern stations out there and judging by the number of pumps, there sure were a lot of diesel nozzles available. On the gasoline side, I was one of 2 or 3 other cars. One was from Iowa with a cute Lab in the back, while another was from Wisconsin and decked out in Packer's gear. I had to go inside for a receipt, which I found to be a bit dark and tchotchke homey. Anyway, the bottom line for me was that I filled up the tank, topped it off, and was able to return the rental car at the Kansas City Airport while it still read full. I'd like to say that this was good planning on my part......
