I should have trusted my Gas Buddy App. I noticed there was a sign that said Under new management, so maybe that is why the prices were better then anyone around the area. New owners need to get old customers back and having the lowest prices is one of the best ways to achieve that. I liked the Mobil because they were honest with the price on the sign out front and on my next trip to the burbs, which doesn't happen often, I will keep this place in mind to fill up. Then I told someone I was with where I stopped and they instantly told me to check my bank account. $64.99 For 24 cans of pop and 8 Tylenol pills. I was stunned. Reading the reviews, it doesn't seem like it would be worth my time to try and get a refund or anything. But I'm absolutely amazed this place is still in business. They're taking advantage of people that aren't used to an establishment charging whatever they want without disclosing the prices. BP is only a few blocks away from Woodfield Mall and had a free air pump. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who needed to add air to my tires as I had to wait for two cars for my turn, and when I left there was another car using the pump. BP has a small store with a variety of items for purchase. Both the friendly, cheerful employees directed me to the tire pressure gauges. Thank God they had one on their shelves! It came with two tire valve caps which I ended up needing one when my frozen hands dropped my car's cap somewhere in the slushy inches of snow.

This location is not my "home" location, but it is close to my office and other bi-weekly activities so I fill up when I am in the area. This location usually has long lines and the flow of traffic is less patient than what I am used to--I am used to cars that will fill in and empty all 3 stations at a time instead of driving around pedestrians one at a time. The gas station is usually functional, clean, and cleared in inclement weather. It's pretty self service, but I do see the attendants in case of emergency.

It isn't the most convenient location for us, so we don't always go there. The problem with them is how busy they are. There are generally very long lines to get to the pumps. I suppose that goes with the discounted price for gas they offer. The price difference isn't great enough to wait ten or 15 minutes to get to the pump so when we go there and see long lines, we'll go elsewhere. There are several other gas stations withing a mile or so of Costco. Costco Gasoline also offers no other services than gas pumps. If you need anything else done, this either would not be the station for you, or you'll have to finish pumping then go to another service station.

I live down the street and used to go to this place daily. They've always had outdated technology…read morein there taking your payments from a debit/credit card but it was rare. Now there's an issue there every time Ive been there the last four times. From their card readers not being able to read cards, sometimes taking up to ten minutes to get it to work.. they blow in it like they're getting dust out and tell you to wash your chip like it's your fault. Other times it seems like they started skimping on gas.. I had 76 miles left in my tank so I decided to fill up just a bit to get me over to bensenville to get much better prices so I only put $10 in but after I filled up and left it now said I had 88miles left.. how do you only get 12miles for $10? And before I made assumptions I thought it might be the sensor so I took it in to the dealership to get checked out since it's still under the "bumper to bumper".. nothing wrong with the sensor and it's been working fine elsewhere. This last time I had to resort to going there because they're the only ones open at that time and I had a customer to pick up in 15min.. well there's an issue with the pumps.. he had me go to a different pump twice and at that pump as soon as I lifted the pump it automatically picked 93.. I asked him how to get it to 87? He told me to put the pump back and try again.. but.. What he meant was when I put the pump back I'd have to repay again and wait for that money to comeback into my account. Well the problem was I only had like $3 left on that account and fir some reason lately when I move money from different accounts it's been taking a while to go thru. So I was essentially screwed, I couldn't wait to transfer money, that money that was supposed go back on my card still hasn't been refunded.. I had a customer to pick up to take to ohare very soon and not only did he waste my time but then in the end screwed me over in the process.. if I transferred money it sometimes takes up to an hour to get to that account and I had to pick up a passenger in within a couple minutes at this point. I got lucky and found $20 cash I was able to use to pay for more gas but not only did they almost ruin my entire day of earning but I STILL HAVENT received my refund!! If there is another option you can go to besides here.. DO IT!
