#SupportUkraine - A printed gas station receipt displaying purchase date, time, fuel gallons, price, and total sale amount.

JFC This place has gone to H E double hockey sticks. I had a horrid tepid chewy stale hotdogs and watery melted mocha last week and after today's fiasco with some lemonade ice replacement of the one delicious strawberry smoothieIm over thos place. FOOD COURT The membership goes up and the menús go to cheaper non-tasty substitutions like this lemonade strawberry smoothie which is mainly ice and some orange slush with chunks of non-drinkable old berries to justify the use of the strawberry description. 2/5 PRICES Toilet paper goes up $5? Tariffs hit Charmin? The Kirkland is still $20ish bucksit used to just be a $5 difference not $10. FOOD Quality of Produce is so poor now. Most everything is no longer a bargain, there is a limit to how much rotisserie chicken you want. GAS Walmart and Meier are comparable. PRODUCE and MEAT Better prices on produce at local franchise places like Aldi and Brookhaven. I am not renewing this Executive Membership... there is no ROI. You can join Amazon Prime in the dumpster.

No wait. - A rainy day scene at a Costco Gasoline station with multiple cars refueling, viewed from inside a vehicle through a rain-speckled windshield.

Smaller gas station in Chicagoland, next to a Costco, but no wait, which is not what I expect from a Costco Gas Station. It has 3 islands, with each island having two pumps (with each having one nozzle on each side): so total of 6 lanes and 12 nozzles total. I've been wanting to use my costco digital cash card(s) (rebates for using costco travel) at the gas station. Since I had time and wasn't rushed, tried to figure out the different ways to pay. 1. easiest is to just tap your costco citi credit card (if you have one). It will automatically verify your membership and use your credit card for payment (Costco recently increased their cash back to 5% for Costco gas purchases using their citi CC....though you do NOT get the 2% additional for Executive membership). Have done this a lot of times. 2. If you want to use your physical membership card instead, you insert that first. Then you do a separate transaction for payment. 3. You can scan the membership number QR code from the Costco App on the scanner at the pump. Once verified, you can then use an accepted pay method (including costco cash card) to pay. I don't think you can use a digital cash card yet at the station. So instead, you would use digital cash card to buy a costco physical cash card at any register inside. I have also not tried #2 above using my Costco Citi CC, thinking that would be similar to #1 (membership and payment in one swipe).

Gas alleys at Costco not busy today as gas prices increased up $3.32 for regular at Costco on 7/19/2025. Still better than most other places.

I love costco but recently I have seen a trend of employees acting in a rude manner and to a extent I understand that people push them to their limits but these employees and businesses need to understand that this whole buy from internet crap started with people being tired of having rude employees. So please let do a little better day by day on both side. For employees this is your bread and butter so respect it and take care of it and customers please have some sympathy for other human being and stop being a D-bag

If I could give them a thousand stars, I would. They are not in business anymore, but, I'm going…read moreto give them a review anyhow just to say thank you for everything they did for me, and my family, based on my father's recommendations...for so many years It breaks my heart to see this and it hurts so much there's not enough words to describe the feeling. I could not in good conscience allow this beloved business to depart without acknowledging my gratitude. I moved here at age seven back in 1984. My father learned about Larry & Dan's from customers soon after we moved. Since then, until his untimely passing two years ago, he has only taken his vehicle to Larry & Dan's, and refused to go anywhere else. The quality of the work, the dependability, the honesty, and kindness from the mechanics were all the reasons we kept going. I cannot begin to express how many difficult situations over the years I've had with vehicles that Larry & Dan's mechanics not only went out of their way to take care of me, but at times did so free of cost. A simple eyeball inspection at times, to a recent occasion where I hit a curb and screwed up the front passenger's side bumper, that a mechanic put zip ties on it to secure it - for free. The cashier ladies over the years knew more about cars sometimes than the mechanics. They'd take down descriptions and pass it through the window like a chef reading off a recipe. They made good conversation in the always stressful experience it is going to have a car fixed. They put you at ease. Over the years the mechanics went out of their way, too, to find affordable solutions for customers going through difficult financial times. Their mechanics would pick up parts. They would research and find good quality used parts and devise a strategy to go and pick it up, then reduce labor cost on the bill. Recent experiences of mine involving a battery alternator, and four brakes that went out at the same time, resulted this way. Thank you for all your years of service. Even if no one reads this, God will read it, and the universe will come around and reward those who did so much, for so long, for Schaumburg. I'm sure I'm not the only one who passes by this location, sees it empty, and experiences that hit to the chest that's comparable to losing a family member. I lost my dad. This is almost like losing him all over again. His name was Robert and EVERYONE at the shop loved him. He taught three mechanics how to play guitar. They drove him home one time on their own accord. Years ago when I worked the overnight shift at Dominick's on Schaumburg and Roselle, I would forget to turn off my lights and in the morning find it dead. I can't tell you how many times the mechanics would come to my aid and they always jumped me free of cost. They installed the best quality tires. They took on hundred-fifty-dollar jobs that chain auto shops would try and manipulate a customer into thousand-fifty dollar jobs. They'd do jobs under a hundred dollars, knowing that the big job when we need it would come their way. The picture in the middle was always mounted on the bulletin board behind where the cashier sits. It told the story of how the business was put together. It emphasized their business strategy, their devotion to customers, and to making an auto repair shop more a place of ease, a place to be relied on, a place people always knew had their best interests at heart. They put the customer first every day of their existence. With a tear in my eye, and a pounding in my heart, I'm writing this with utmost sincerity to say thank-you and best wishes, good spirits, and blessings from above...to this amazing business.

They are no longer in business. The place is closed and no longer even have a sign up. Hopefully…read morea new station will open.
