I should have trusted my Gas Buddy App. I noticed there was a sign that said Under new management, so maybe that is why the prices were better then anyone around the area. New owners need to get old customers back and having the lowest prices is one of the best ways to achieve that. I liked the Mobil because they were honest with the price on the sign out front and on my next trip to the burbs, which doesn't happen often, I will keep this place in mind to fill up. The pop tased off. Not sure if it was expired or what, but it didn't taste good. The Tylenol was fine. Then I told someone I was with where I stopped and they instantly told me to check my bank account. $64.99 For 24 cans of pop and 8 Tylenol pills. I was stunned. Reading the reviews, it doesn't seem like it would be worth my time to try and get a refund or anything. But I'm absolutely amazed this place is still in business. They're taking advantage of people that aren't used to an establishment charging whatever they want without disclosing the prices. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who needed to add air to my tires as I had to wait for two cars for my turn, and when I left there was another car using the pump. BP has a small store with a variety of items for purchase. Both the friendly, cheerful employees directed me to the tire pressure gauges. Thank God they had one on their shelves! It came with two tire valve caps which I ended up needing one when my frozen hands dropped my car's cap somewhere in the slushy inches of snow.

This location is not my "home" location, but it is close to my office and other bi-weekly activities so I fill up when I am in the area. This location usually has long lines and the flow of traffic is less patient than what I am used to--I am used to cars that will fill in and empty all 3 stations at a time instead of driving around pedestrians one at a time. The gas station is usually functional, clean, and cleared in inclement weather. It's pretty self service, but I do see the attendants in case of emergency.

It isn't the most convenient location for us, so we don't always go there. The problem with them is how busy they are. There are generally very long lines to get to the pumps. I suppose that goes with the discounted price for gas they offer. The price difference isn't great enough to wait ten or 15 minutes to get to the pump so when we go there and see long lines, we'll go elsewhere. There are several other gas stations withing a mile or so of Costco. Costco Gasoline also offers no other services than gas pumps. If you need anything else done, this either would not be the station for you, or you'll have to finish pumping then go to another service station.

They tend to have lower pricing than other gas stations in the area, too. Their convenience store has ample and varied stock. Their liquor tends to be good quality at reasonable prices. They still have their restaurant but we haven't eaten there in several years so I can't speak to that. The only issue is if you have to make a left turn out of their parking lot. Turning left across three lanes of cross traffic on Algonquin and Roselle Roads can be treacherous. You're better off making a right, then making a u-turn.
