Sam, who is the morning attendant, can usually be found sleeping behind the counter anytime before 8:00 with the entry door locked. I recall an instance where myself and three other people were outside attempting to get gas to no avai because he wasn't authorizing the pumps.. too busy snoozing away. This has happened on several occasions. One day I got fed up and called Mobil's 800 number and complained, They called me back 2 weeks later and told me the situation had been rectified. Doubtful, I went back to see for myself. I laughed as I walked up to the counter to find him with his eyes closed and his chin in his hand. Well, at least the door wasn't locked this time. On the days when he had enough sleep the night before, he is usually reading the newspaper and that is far more important then taking care of the customer. It's a five minute process just going inside and getting a pack of cigarettes. He's sloooooooow. And he can never seem to figure out where my cigarettes are even though you'd think he'd have memorized it by now. I go back due to convenience. It's right on the corner and pretty much the only gas station I pass before I get on 53 to go to work (there is Speedway, but that place is a freaking madhouse in the morning). I only give an extra star because the attendant at night is nice, although strange. The other night he was sniffing me. Yes, I said SNIFFING me. Although creepy, it made me laugh a little bit.

I know that the stores have a quota to meet with the rewards cards. I have gone to the store several times with this guy working there and he always scans a new card. I tell him I have a card and then he says he cant scan my card since he already scanned one. Now I can't get my points . He stated I can use the new card . I don't want a new card I want my points on my card. That's stealing in my eyes. He's a thief. Not only that !!! The store always stinks. Smells like a dirty mop and urine . He doesn't have rugs on the floors and the floors are always dirty. He's mopping the floors with old water and a rotten mop. I have personally and others have seen the mop water and it's always dirty. This person talks bad to women. He should be removed from this location or even better fired. This store shouldn't even get one star.

I'm a fan of these types of setups of gas stations with food, coffee, and more. The only true restaurant operated within is Scooter's though there are stations for hot food from other restaurants inside. The decor is well above average, reminding me of options like Wally's and Loves, with above average options of different goods to buy inside - particularly Grab and Go food. This reminds me a bit more of a Walgreens / CVS. I liked the filling stations as well, well spaced and look like they support new technologies. While large touch screens seem to be more and more common, I do appreciate the extra large buttons on the interface.

I decided on a slice of cheese pizza and a hotdog. My friend also got the latter , and a brat too. Second Misstep : Stale buns. When we opened the pull out tray, all the poppyseed buns were STALE , and hard as rocks. Thus, we had to use the single wrapped regular buns instead. We paid and went out to the car to eat. The hotdogs were bland, and not that good. My friend thought his brat was decent, but it didn't agree with his stomach. I then went for the slice of pie. Third Misstep: Old pizza. It's unfortunate because its supposed to be Rosati's , which is great pizza. Sadly, this one had clearly been sitting out awhile, as the crust was very tough and the cheese was like cardboard. All of this culminated with multiple bathroom trips for each of us through the rest of the day. Very disappointing. The restrooms were clean and they had a decent snack selection inside, but that couldn't save this escapade. Gonna stick to the Scooters drive thru for now.

For me, it's the convenience of the location as it is down the road from my gym, the high school, etc. The pump area is usually clean and working well and I do not fret too much about the security of my information at Costco: gas. I like having a garbage can so I can empty out my daughter's stuff while I fill up. The staff is attentive and I see them help others with the gas, receipts, etc. time and time again. Sometimes patrons drive crazily around the pumps, but that is not to any fault of the facility. I appreciate having affordable gas so close!

A plethora of snack choices and drink choices. Lottery tickets a few automotive accessories newspapers magazines and of course, coffee. The location does get busy as it is conveniently located on a corner of two busy streets, as many gas stations are. There is even an offsite carwash who offers a discount with a gas purchase. Or is it a discount on gas with a car wash purchase? Maybe it's a discount on gas and a car wash? I just don't know. Maybe there isn't a discount? I still don't know. What I do know is that you have gas, I can use a card at the pump and even get a receipt to prove that I paid for the gas. This Shell location is clean on the outside and inside and I'm always greeted with a friendly smile inside. You don't have the most expensive gas prices but you also don't have the lowest, but, you do have gas, therefore I'll be seeing you again.

The ease of using the mat cleaning supplies here is okay, but what feels like a more dangerous layout compared to the newer, closer location. The last few times I used this location, the vacuums were not working too well. My daughter also appreciates the fancy lights at the location closer to our house, haha. I am happy this location is here in a pinch and I appreciate the value of being able to use whatever location is closest to me!
