What type of business, especially in the medical field does not answer their phones. I had to drive 30 miles just to schedule an appointment. When I arrived there were three receptionists at the front desk. The office was completely empty. I was the only patient in the waiting room. Not one of the 3 absolutely Rude employees acknowledged or greeted me. I first approached a woman who referred me to the male receptionist for Dr. Majzel. He was expectedly as rude. I explained that I walked into the office to schedule my appointment because the phones go unanswered. I was completely ignored. His response prompted me to immediately find another doctor. All 3 receptionists can immediately be replaced with kiosks to set patient appointments and a service that answers calls and sets appointments. Because of the unprofessional manner of the front office staff I would Never recommend this office to Anyone!

When the doctor came in, he was so pompous that he didn't even examine me - once I told him I didn't appreciate having to wait an hour. Now I am back again and have been waiting 30 minutes. They say they are "running behind" again. It's interesting to notice that they have a sign in the waiting room that they can reschedule u if u r more than 15 minutes late. I guess that rule only applies one way. Very frustrating place to deal with. I wish I could find another office but this is a worker's comp case so I am stuck.

I have a torn rotator cuff and probably frozen shoulder. The surgery recommended is absurd -…read moreoutpatient but eight months of oppressive recovery. Pass. PT was my only hope. When I started at Nova, I couldn't even put a shirt on without crying and swearing, and sleep was poor. My headspace was bad. So I needed both effective physical care and supportive emotional care. I got both at Nova. Dr. Kev, Izzy, and Autumn were my main care team. I adore these people. Kev constantly assessed and amended my routine to aid recovery, and encouraged me to keep working at home. But when I got wonky, he also provided gentle but authoritative nudges to get me back on track. Additionally, he's a real good guy and a hoot to talk with. Izzy and Autumn keep the busy practice running smoothly, pay good attention to everyone, and are absolutely delightful people. While the other team members weren't as involved with my care specifically, it was obvious every time I was there that it's a wise, collaborative, happy crew. Today was my last session. I can cough without crying, get dressed without screaming, put on a seat belt normally, and am getting back into working out. The extent to which Nova helped me can't be exaggerated; it is substantial. And I am extremely grateful. Less important but good to know: parking is good in the lot and on the street, and there's a Randy's Donuts right there (blueberry glazed is a good post-sesh reward). If you're in pain, you'll be in great hands at Nova Physical Therapy.

They're working on my shoulder and they have encouraged my recovery enough that I'm already feeling better. Definitely, a place I would use again. They do have a NoShiw penalty that increases with times however because they do run out of appointment they must utilize their right to do that. But quality care for sure. Their front office is not very fancy and their receptionist is not a ball of sunshine but it works because everyone is very casual and caring.

It was a bad fracture that had been set as well as possible by an emergency doctor, but without surgery, it wasn't going to heal to be the same as before. Dr. Moses took the time to explain what was going on with the bones and what my options were. He said even though the bones are a bit out of alignment my wrist would probably function ok if we left it alone, but I chose surgery because I'm still very active and and want to maintain my full strength and range of motion. The other advantage of surgery is that you can get the wrist moving again much sooner than it if was in a cast. I was so glad that he was able to schedule me for two days later, just 5 days after the accident. The surgery went very well, and I only had to take one painkiller pill once the nerve block wore off, so not much pain. Now, three months later, the wrist is almost back to normal and getting better every day. I can do push ups and lift weights. The scar is remarkably thin and hardly noticeable, less than 2" long. Dr. Moses gave me his e-mail so I can reach him if I have any more questions or concerns. I think he really cares about his patients and makes sure his work is done perfectly, because we deserve the best! I am so happy I opted for surgery, and that I chose such an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Moses.

My first doctor tried pain injections that provided relief for about 6 weeks. He recommended I see an orthopaedic surgeon. I will say that Dr. Moses has excellent support staff and the practice seems to run smoothly. I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. That's pretty much where the good ended. before even seeing the doctor, I was taken in for wrist x-rays. Nothing was explained to me. When I saw Dr. Moses, I felt he didn't listen to my description of the several years of treatment I have undergone, instead he ordered MRIs that my insurance carrier would not approve due to the lack of medical reasoning that Dr. Moses provided. After my first set of MRIs were denied by my insurance I went for a second visit with Dr. Moses -- again, I was switched away for x-rays before seeing the doctor. Again, nothing was explained to me. And once Dr. Moses came in the room, he simply put through another order for MRIs. Not surprisingly these were also denied. At both appointments I suggested he include information of my past years of treatment to assist insurance in understanding the necessity for the MRIs. He did not. The second set of MRIs were denied by my insurance for the same reason. All in all I feel that this was an enormous waste of my time and money. I'm now going back to my doctor at Cedar Sinai, in hopes of finding an alternative solution.

Clearly that was an old recording. It's very frustrating to be on hold for over one hour a d not be able to get a hold of anyone. Very disappointing and unacceptable. This last Monday I saw the doctor as my left knee is hurting, the doctor prescribes an ointment to apply a couple times a day and I am to follow up in 30!days. My issue here and reason for a negative review is with the doctors staff, some of them cannot or are not able to do their job. Since Monday afternoon I've been waiting for my prescription.... I called Wednesday, two days after my appointment and after 38 minutes on the phone I was told it'll be sent to my pharmacy by end of day. Today is Thursday and four days since I saw the doctor and I still don't have my prescription. No one there at oss can seem to send over my prescription to Walgreens. How hard is this task I ask? Apparently some of the doctors new staff are incapable of performing simple duties such as sending over a prescription in a timely manner. No other doctors office takes this long.... Normally any prescription is sent electronically by the end of that day or even within hours of you leaving their office. Why are the doctors staff at oss unable to complete a simple task? We have called the office now twice since my Monday appointment. It should not require even a call to ask him um did you send in my prescription? Each phone call it was a game of not my fault and we are busy and have lots of patients.... None of these excuses hold any weight! It's your job to follow through and make sure simple tasks as this are completed. Clearly some of the newer staff are in over their heads. The staff used to be so efficient, polite and professional, yet now today that has sadly changed. Again, the doctor is one of the best in his field yet some of his newer staff simply are not up for the jobs they now hold and should be replaced by those who are more on top of their game. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed by how such a simple task as sending in a prescription that was written Monday has yet to be sent electronically to my pharmacy. It's almost comical but I am not laughing. Lastly, there are no excuses for incompetence nor for ignorance and unwillingness to just do your job, I'm sure these newer employees could use a Starbucks or Alfred's coffee card to wake up and perform their daily tasks with more proficiency and pride which is lacking at the moment. If that does not solve the issue then maybe let them go and hire those who can and will do the job faithfully. Lastly, and a second complaint if you will. Two months ago I needed to reschedule a procedure. I called and left two messages with dr. Jeters (another incredible doctor there at OSS, like Dr Yacoubian, on top of their game and profession!) scheduler and have yet to get a return call to reschedule. After two months waiting I went elsewhere It must be so busy there that one must call more frequently or simply walk in and ask to speak with the scheduler or whoever in person. Far more labor intensive than it should be in all sincerity. Appreciate and admire the doctors there, love most the staff and all the physical therapists upstairs are dedicated and caring, yet these newer staff members really need a good taking to and just do your job please with no excuses or anything but just do your job do your job!:)
