Dr. Moses had zero interest in my issues. I went in after seeing another doctor at Cedars for carpel and cubital tunnel syndrome. My first doctor tried pain injections that provided relief for about 6 weeks. He recommended I see an orthopaedic surgeon. I will say that Dr. Moses has excellent support staff and the practice seems to run smoothly. I didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. That's pretty much where the good ended. before even seeing the doctor, I was taken in for wrist x-rays. Nothing was explained to me. When I saw Dr. Moses, I felt he didn't listen to my description of the several years of treatment I have undergone, instead he ordered MRIs that my insurance carrier would not approve due to the lack of medical reasoning that Dr. Moses provided. After my first set of MRIs were denied by my insurance I went for a second visit with Dr. Moses -- again, I was switched away for x-rays before seeing the doctor. Again, nothing was explained to me. And once Dr. Moses came in the room, he simply put through another order for MRIs. Not surprisingly these were also denied. At both appointments I suggested he include information of my past years of treatment to assist insurance in understanding the necessity for the MRIs. He did not. The second set of MRIs were denied by my insurance for the same reason. All in all I feel that this was an enormous waste of my time and money. I'm now going back to my doctor at Cedar Sinai, in hopes of finding an alternative solution. read more

When I broke my wrist three months ago I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Moses on the day I called. It was a bad fracture that had been set as well as possible by an emergency doctor, but without surgery, it wasn't going to heal to be the same as before. Dr. Moses took the time to explain what was going on with the bones and what my options were. He said even though the bones are a bit out of alignment my wrist would probably function ok if we left it alone, but I chose surgery because I'm still very active and and want to maintain my full strength and range of motion. The other advantage of surgery is that you can get the wrist moving again much sooner than it if was in a cast. I was so glad that he was able to schedule me for two days later, just 5 days after the accident. The surgery went very well, and I only had to take one painkiller pill once the nerve block wore off, so not much pain. Now, three months later, the wrist is almost back to normal and getting better every day. I can do push ups and lift weights. The scar is remarkably thin and hardly noticeable, less than 2" long. Dr. Moses gave me his e-mail so I can reach him if I have any more questions or concerns. I think he really cares about his patients and makes sure his work is done perfectly, because we deserve the best! I am so happy I opted for surgery, and that I chose such an excellent surgeon. My mom had CMC surgery with Dr. Michael Moses about 3.5 months ago, and we couldn't be more grateful for the outstanding care she received. Dr. Moses is kind, patient, and genuinely caring toward his patients. Before the surgery, he took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done, walking us through the risks and benefits thoroughly so my mom felt informed and at ease. What stood out to us the most was the way he went above and beyond--he personally came to check on my mom at a post-op visit that was actually scheduled with the nurse practitioner. He also made sure we got an appointment for post-op physical therapy when we were having trouble scheduling one, which shows just how much he cares about his patients' recovery. Thanks to Dr. Moses, my mom is recovering wonderfully and is extremely happy with both the results of the surgery and the way she was treated throughout the entire process. I broke my scaphoid in a motorcycle accident and went to Dr. Moses for surgery. He did a clean job. You can barely see the scars after it healed and I was able to get 100% range of motion after PT. I had a speedy recovery without complications and would definitely see him again. read more

When I asked a question about why this surgery was done in a surgical center vs the office, Dr Moses explained the physiology of the thumb vs fingers and helped me understand that it was mostly about the comfort of the patient. Diagnosis and treatment plan for torn ligament in wrist from a fall that happened about a year ago. X-rayed both wrists to see if both showed same amount of space between the same type of bones. As suspected, they didn't. He prescribed hand therapy and gel to help alleviate pain for torn ligament. All staff treated me professionally and answered my questions in ways I could understand. And, Dr. Moses did the same by showing me on the X-ray and by manipulating my wrist where the tear is as well as by explaining how the prescribed treatment could help. read more

I initially went to Dr Moses for a second opinion for a wrist/hand injury. I'm happy to tell you fine people on Yelp that I'm glad I did! The staff was nice and EFFICIENT! As soon as I was done with signing in, I was escorted in to an an exam room where the real waiting usually happens, but it didn't Dr Moses waisted no time and throughly examined my hand and asked really great questions about my pain and mobility ( something the previous Dr did not do). That same day I was sent to meet with a physical therapist equally as great! They gave me some exercises to do at home to prepare me for my future therapy appointments! My second appointment: was no different no wait, excellent attention to my injury and so very kind. If you sustain an injury to your hand or wrist, do not hesitate! Call Dr Moses! OSS is extremely well run and is very efficient. It's a 1 stop shop. They get you in for x-rays within 10 minutes of completing your forms, and then you see the Dr. within 10 minutes after that. In this case I was there for my elbow. Dr. Moses was personable, thorough, knowledgeable, and very clear both in his diagnosis and the treatment plan he provided . I felt like I was in excellent hands (which he is also the go-to Dr. for) and would go see Dr. Moses again I n a heartbeat (though I would go to a cardiologist if I needed to get that checked). read more

We saw Dr Moses for my Moms hand issues. She has carpal tunnel and trigger finger symptoms after having surgery with another surgeon (Not related to Dr Moses) Dr Moses has great bedside manner and is compassionate about helping to get to the core of the issues that my Mom has. He is also detailed in his explanations about treatment plans and answered all of our questions thoroughly . He gave my Mom a cortisone injection and we will follow up with him soon to see what's next. Also, I appreciate that this clinic is clean and well-organized. Unlike another orthopedic group we used to go to, you don't have to wait a long time to see your Doctor, which is one of the reasons we stopped going there. When I first met Dr Moses and Alexia I felt relieved! They were the real deal! Authentic and empathetic to the results of my MRi which showed a Radius Fracture! They gently explained what was going on with my wrist and what was going to happen. Dr Moses walked me thru the process and showed me where the break was and then told me I was very lucky as it would not require surgery!!! He explained the next step was going to be a cast for 6 weeks followed by PT. He is not like other doctors. He sincerely cares about his patients! He is extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions and I had a lot of them! I never have to wait to see him like other doctors I have seen ! Waiting and waiting and waiting!! He explained what vitamins to take to help w the healing process. He explained how the bone finds the other bone and talks to each other and that's how it fuses back together in time! He told me I will be able to play pickle ball again which made me so happy ! I trust this guy! He has a great personality and so does his assistant Alexa! Alexa put my cast on and decorated it with cool colors! Who knew there would be a color chart for casts?! What do I know... this is my first cast!! They are so professional and also caring and have humor and humanity in them!! I appreciate both of them so much! I would highly recommend them! Doctors and assistants today seem to be burnt out, no space to really care about what your going thru, the shock and pain that goes thru your nervous system when you suddenly fall like I did. Not knowing the damage that was caused and suddenly the dominant hand is no longer in use! Just like that! Everything changed! Having Doctor Moses and Alexa was such a wonderful blessing for me! I will never forget them! You will feel the same way! They are hidden gems in our little but powerful Burbank community! I am positive they will continue to touch their patients lives leaving memorable experiences for decades to come! Thank you again for turning such a horrible experience into a memorable one!
