Called AAA, they sent Gary from here. He crossthreaded my lugnuts when changing my tires and now I have to pay $125 to get them broken off.

This place deserves 0 stars. Called them to change a tire through AAA and waited multiple hours for them to show up. Not only did they never show up but they also don't answer their phone- it goes straight to voicemail after someone manually hangs it up. At least have the decency to update your customer and let them know that you're not going to show. After seeing reviews with people having similar experiences, I can safely say that I would never recommend this place to anybody. What a waste of time. read more

Requested a tow from AAA, they never showed. Requested help with a flat, they said they had the tools to help, they did not. Requested another tow, they closed and did not let anyone know (they say they are 24 hrs but they close at 2pm on weekends). We requested a tow at noon and they did not let AAA or I know they won't do the service until the next day, almost 24 hrs later. Unprofessional, rude, and unreliable. read more

This company was dispatched by AAA for a flat tire on our travel trailer and instead of declining the service, they sent a service tech 45 minutes later in an HHR (that's right...a car) to tell us they did not service RV's. The vehicle was correctly noted by AAA as a travel trailer and we have coverage for that as part of our plan. The next available provider was 2 hours away and we had to handle on our own as we could not wait. Thweatt claimed to AAA that they sent a flat bed wrecker (lie!) and told me they were required to send someone even though they had no intention of providing the service. In speaking with another AAA provider, we fully believe this is yet another lie and was only a means to to get paid by AAA for the call without providing the service. Beware! The only means the tech had to air up a tire was with an air compressor connected to a cigarette lighter. What a JOKE! That guy couldn't have aired up our truck tire with that! The 16" tire simply needed air and my husband resolved in 10 minutes with an electric powered air compressor. This operation appears to have subpar equipment and questionable ethics. I got a flat tire, well more so my tire was shredded off, on the side of Highway 6. I called Triple AAA and they sent Billy Harrod from Phil Thweatt Wrecker Service. I have to rave about Billy. This man is kind, funny, and so understanding. Mr. Thweatt, if you read this review, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. He talked so kindly about you and treated me so well! My conversation with him in the car going to College Station was so great. Billy has a kind heart. Not to mention he also got my car towed up and got me to Firestone within an hour! read more

I wish I can give 0 star if the yelp allows to. This tow company is terrible that they firstly sent a wrong tow truck (I need a flat bed but they sent wrongly). I have waited for two hours for the flat bed and this is not the worst scenario. They scratched my car and keep denying with very bad attitude. My husband and oldest son went to the A&M game in College Station on Thanksgiving Day. Just as they got to their parking place near Reed Arena on the A&M campus, the water pump on the truck gave out and dumped the engine coolant. Husband was very concerned about possible difficulties getting help on a Thanksgiving night, but contacted AAA, who put him in touch with Thweatt wrecker service. Randy, with Thweatt, called within minutes to say he was on the way. He made it to the parking lot within a half hour, after working his way through the football game traffic, found hubby's truck and had it loaded in minutes. Randy hauled husband, son and truck 100 miles to our local mechanics shop. Husband said that Randy was fast, courteous and professional throughout. Randy bailed them out of a tough situation on a Thanksgiving holiday night, and the great service was greatly appreciated. read more

They were great! When I called, I was told it'd be $67 to go from my apartment to pretty much anywhere in town, so I agreed. A guy named Randy showed up less than 30 minutes later and he couldn't have been more helpful, it was raining out but he didn't care. The way my car was parked, he couldn't get to it at the best angle until another car moved out of the way. I also couldn't turn the wheel of my car without doing more damage to it. So he told me to keep an eye on the car in the way, block the space when someone moved it, and call him to let him know. I was able to do so and he got it all taken care of in one day. He even suggested a few of the best auto repair shops in town that had the best prices. Definitely recommend, thanks to Randy! read more

Absolutely horrible. My husband's rental car broke down about 30 miles outside of College Station. This wrecker service was called by Enterprise Rental and my husband was told that they would tow the car, but he would have to unload his personal belongings and find his own way to town. Needless to say, he told them "no thank you". Absolutely no way to run a business and I certainly hope Enterprise never uses them again. read more
