It's not often you'll find me giving towing services 5 stars, but I feel compelled to do just that…read morebecause they arrived on time, cost exactly what they quoted, and had a helpful driver. Garcia Towing's service was especially refreshing when compared to one of their competitors, whom I had arranged to help me because their cost was marginally less but who never showed up AND ignored my follow-up calls while I roasted in 98 degree heat on the side of Hwy 6. Btw, that competitor was A-1, who I also reviewed.

The reviews for that business was 4.5 stars. Well needless to say this supposedly reputable business turned out to be nothing more than the usual auto repair hustlers. They wanted to charge more than a dealership to repair the car. When I called them out on it, of course the hustlers came up with we have to take the motor out to replace a starter. I even offered to pay them what the dealership had quoted me. They declined the offer. I then contacted Pickups Plus and spoke to Blake. I told him the situation with the car, told him I was out of state and needed a quote to replace the starter. Blake's quote came back $100 under the dealership and $155 under the hustlers. I had the car picked up from Sevcik's Service Center 2200 Longmire Drive College Station, TX 77845 and towed to Pickups Plus. Blake had my daughters car up and running a few hours later. Thanks Blake for your honesty and professional service. By the way the hustlers at Sevcik's called back and said the quote contained an error and they would do the work for the same price as the dealership. Yea right

Instead, the Kia dealership wanted to charge for unnecessary repairs and way above retail for Kia original parts. The warranty manager at the dealership told me if I couldn't afford their repairs to take the car somewhere else. I'm so glad he said that because it lead us to Franks. I worked with John and he was willing to look for a solution that worked within our budget and made sense for the age of the car. We just picked the car up and it's running perfectly and the cost was less than half what we would have paid at the dealership. Thank you so much! I cannot recommend them enough.

As for the body work done on my car, it looks better than before the accident. Overall, a great "Semi-family" owned body shop that I will come back to if I needed any more work done on my car.
