Honestly I was super bummed that my car got towed, but the employees were super friendly and explained the price to me. I would ask them to tow my car if it needed it. read more

It doesn't make sense to tow vehicles from a gated lot when the gates are left open and there was no indication the lot was closed or restricted. This experience felt unfair and poorly handled. I hope the company reevaluates how they enforce towing in situations like this. read more

BDS was called for a scheduled equipment pickup. They called 45 minutes after they were supposed to have already been there to let us know they would be late, as if we couldn't already tell by their absence. They finally did show up almost an hour and fifteen minutes late. They did however bring the proper equipment for the tow and got it loaded up and delivered in a timely manner once they did arrive. The main problem is their punctuality. Don't expect them to show up on time, or anywhere close to it. read more

$382 To illegally move our car from Kyle Field to Bryan with NO AUDIT TRAIL OF LEGAL REQUEST TO REMOVE THE VEHICLE (we are DEMANDING your documentation from the "code enforcement" to remove our car which they COULDN'T produce)... and then ILLEGALLY LOCKED THEIR DOOR during business hours... Tell me how $382 came to be you effin scammers. The tatted bitch in the front needs to do better. "Code enforcement pointed to your car so we towed it"... ummm I'm gonna need DOCUMENTATION this occurred to prove you didn't just circle Kyle Field to your usual spots to scoop cars you had NO AUTHORITY to tow, you cockroaches. read more

The customer service here is absolutely terrible. While I understand that no one is happy about having their vehicle towed, that does not excuse how poorly this place is run. The process for registering vehicles is intentionally unclear and poorly communicated, which is predatory. On top of that, the employee who assisted us was rude, dismissive, and showed interest in being helpful. Instead of explaining anything or trying to resolve the situation, they acted annoyed and condescending. This business relies on confusion and disrespectful treatment, and it shows. read more

The "lady" boy on the phone sounded disgusting and also acted like it as well. I asked for a tow and she tried to scare me into not doing it by saying I might get in "legal" trouble. Do your job. horrible place and scammers too. run. read more

Girl at the front desk with purple hair is not only ugly on the inside, but even uglier on the outside. Holy hell, if I'm gonna pay someone that much money, at least hire staff that has something more than their GED. Old man got on a crazy power trip and I was actually surprised that for his age he was able to speak so fluently. Younger lady looks like she may have been slept terribly last night or possibly not at all. Concerned for her children's safety. That's girls got some anger . This was all because I was wondering how the discount was applied since they wrongfully towed me, and exponentially got worse when I tried to take a photo of the receipt. Strange things are happening here for sure. read more

They do not follow Texas law. If you return to your car and IT IS FULLY HOOKED UP, READY FOR TOWING, BUT HAS NOT LEFT THE PARKING LOT, you may keep your car but YOU MUST PAY A DROP FEE. You do not need to prove ownership of the car in this instance either. Also, state law is The TOW CHARGE: The maximum charge for a private property tow is: $272 for a vehicle weighing up to 10,000 lbs $380 for a vehicle weighing more than 10,000 but less than 25,000 lbs $459 per unit for unit for vehicles weighing more than 25,000 lbs with a $978 total maximum These are the maximum rates statewide. Lower rates may be set by local municipal or county rule. They will overcharge you and they will also not follow law and tow even if your at your car. read more

BDS Towing and Recovery was hands down a great choice this evening we needed a wrecker with a wench to pull a Big Truck with a trailer out of the ditch. BDS towing were cooperative, knowledgeable, reliable. They may have charged a little less, but we did not have a option. The police officer arrived promptly which was comforting, he was very polite and has a great attitude. Overall everybody did there job. And most importantly everyone is safe. read more

I've received your first notice that states I have 45 days to retrieve my 2006 Chevy Tahoe, and that the amount of $$$ to get it out accrues on a daily basis. Last week that I spoke with you, it was already at $495.00!!!!!!!!!!!, for a broken down vehicle. This is the point that I'm trying to get across, I'm begging, one more time, to reconsider, because I believe if you look at all of the facts, that the vehicle has been register at the Eastmark Apts. office since 08/03/2023, for over a year, and both, the registration and my drivers license have the current address of such apartment complex, cannot understand why you can't give me, or anyone else in my situation a break, but instead, insult me by saying; "I've heard that sad story before...". Please advise, sincerely, Jerry S. read more

I realize these people have a job to do, but the complete lack of empathy or kindness was unnecessary. They charged for storage which never happened - they used my keys to drive my car off the tow truck because I beat them to their lot. I wouldn't use them for a need-based tow ever! read more

They are making money towing cars at Park West, averaging about 10 cars a day times $317 per car equals $3,170 per day. Wow! Not enough parking for residents and visitor. If Park West is worried about non resident non visitor parking, they should install gates and allow actual residents and visitors to park hassle free. Looks like BDS towing and Park West are running a racket. read more

BDS Towing took our car to their lot after it was involved in a wreck. We tried numerous times over 5 days to be allowed access to get our stuff out of our car. They gave excuse after excuse on why they wouldn't allow us access. I finally called AAA to have them tow it to our house. AAA calls and says BDS Towing released our car to an auction lot in Houston without our permission 4 days prior. BDS Towing is rude and shady!! Avoid them like the plague!!!!!! read more

The BDS team do an excellent job executing contracted requirements with locations needing towing and relocation services. They are prompt, knowledgeable and reasonable. They exercise care and caution when handling someone's valuable property...a vehicle. They do not gauge nor otherwise charge excessive rates and they respond. Ty, Kendall and Brian work intentionally to support the community in maintaining the integrity of their parking programs on contracted property. Always available and always listen with respect and courtesy and truthfulness. They give back to the community and are good neighbors to everyone they encounter. read more

BDS Towing attempted to tow my truck from my own driveway this week while I was home. The tow truck driver told me that he had driven by my house and decided my truck was illegally parked, and that he had authority to tow it at his discretion. My vehicle was parked entirely within my driveway with the exception of one front tire which was just over the edge of the paved driveway and on a strip of grass that separates my driveway from my neighbor's. The other three tires and the majority (over 95%) of my vehicle were in my driveway. He charged me a drop fee of $135 to unhook my vehicle. When I called BDS to complain, I was told by Kendall that it was "too late" because I had already paid their fee. My truck was not parked illegally based on the City of College Station parking codes, nor would it have been considered parked "in the yard" by any reasonable person. The City of College Station code enforcement website explicitly states, "Parking one tire in the grass is not a violation. The rule of thumb is that if more than half of the vehicle is parked on the grass, it is a violation." The fact that a tow driver can hook my car to his truck in my own driveway without justifiable cause or my consent and then demand a "drop fee" cannot be legal. I will be filing a police report and a complaint against this company with TDLR to hopefully eliminate this type of predatory practice. read more

This towing company is ridiculous. I parked my car at an apartment complex called Park West in College Station for a concert and came back hours later to it gone. There were no towing signs on the outside of the apartment complex, there were no gates to enter the complex, and there were plenty of parking spots available for people who lived inside the complex. However, my car was towed because I did not have a parking permit for the complex. This is a complete scam because there are no towing signs in the area which means BDS Towing company simply drove around that complex looking for something because they knew there was a concert that night. It is too late for me to get a refund for that night, but they are definitely running a racket with Park West. read more

They definitely don't treat you like family. They give you the run around and when you call to check on the you're own car that has been towed they are so rude on the phone. And tell you that they are closed when you call after 4pm . they suppose to be open 24/7 . If they ever tell y'all they are closed and give you a run around about releasing you're own "CAR" Follow a complaint with TDLR That's their phone number 512-463-6599. And give them the storage lot TDLR# read more

After a terrible situation with a blown tire, AAA could not find a wrecker service that could tow our car. We called over 10 tow companies and because there was an Aggie football game that night, no one would tow our car. Then I called BDS. They listened to my situation and got a tow scheduled. Their employees were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. I hope I never need towing again in this area, but if I do I will be calling them again. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs towing services around Bryan/College Station and the surrounding area. read more

The worst towing company I have ever seen. Towed my girl friends car. The only one in this parking lot of a church and left the rest of the hundreds of cars there that didn't pay or know to pay. My son parked in the wrong place and was towed. I'm not upset about that but BDS towing damaged the vehicle when they towed it. It was in 4 wheel drive with the parking brake set and it did $2,000 in damage to the front wheel bearings. There were numerous warning indicators that came on when we got the truck back. When I contacted them they denied responsibility. Disreputable company that will not take responsibility for damaging your vehicle. read more

The company's website says that they will "treat you like family" since they are a family owned company. That was not my experience when my son's car was towed from an off campus apartment complex in College Station. He is in his first semester at Texas A&M so he is still learning "the ropes." His car was towed after midnight yell and he arrived to pick up the car from the tow company's lot around 9:30 Saturday morning. I called to find out how much the charge would be and was told that it would be $293! Now, I don't have a problem with them doing their job and towing my car since it was parked in a "park at your own risk" spot as this was a learning experience for my son. I don't even have a problem with them covering their costs and making money but $293 is ridiculous. They literally had the car for less than 8 hours! I asked the person on the phone if there was any way they would reduce the charge based on the limited amount of time that they had the car and she was very adamant that she would not. I asked her to put herself in my position and treat me the way she would want to be treated and she continued to say that their was nothing she could do...that it wouldn't be fair...and if she did it for me then she would have to do it for everybody. Then they proceeded to give my son the run-around when he was there picking up the car. No one was in the office so he called the number and the same woman said that he just needed to walk around until he could find someone. So not only did I pay an exorbitant fee but my son got treated rudely, like his car had been repossessed. We definitely did not feel we were treated like family. In fact, quite the opposite. We felt like we were taken advantage of and treated disrespectfully. Based on our experience, this company is out to make money at any cost. read more

Well this is when it gets even worse they want $317!!! For a college kid that's a lot of money. They are criminals and deserve to be shut down not reasonable at all.
