Wish I had a similar experience, The ones we started were god awful, wish I could say that its because I couldn't sit still however, I couldn't.... We up and bounced outta there and went to Lefty's.... That's where we got ours done. They include more detail and the people are chill, same with sids tattoo but the artists are insanely talented way more so than Pharaoh's however the artists at sids can seem like they arent always friendly but at least you will have nice work done and not leave crying like my cousin Vanessa and it was so sad because people have their own opinions, its understandable...mine was finished at Lefty's as well and it was flawless.... If you bring your friends along that are males just don't rattle the beast and by that i mean dont let your friends go next door and hopefully they dont start hitting on the tattoo artists girl, otherwise she will nut up on you first and foremost or on your friends and just dont let her see em while shes working on yours from the tinted window while she is watching from it with the black curtain pulled back.....not only did she keep looking over but she could not concentrate if she wanted to it was uncalled for especially when you pay good money for quality work... There is no excuse for my cousins as well, she just wanted to get a cover up and likely paid the price for an eyesore which she paid for but we went to Leftys and all the tattoo people were understanding.... I guess its no secret or surprise according to talks amongst artists at other shops that they do crap work.... People are aware of it and do not feel highly of what kind of customer service and work they do, theres no way pharoas funds their building rent from the income they collect, unless they stay after normal non operating business hours or perhaps function under some rather obscure and unethical side hustle, which is no secret, business as usual lookin busy, lay low for a bit and then right back to the same ol same ol..... Apparently its uncommon practice over there, there's a lotta haters but dont hate on a good review or honesty if it happens the next time around, dont say they didnt warn you. I hope you thoroughly enjoy your next tattoo. Even if it comes from there. read more

The worst experience they offer you a cancellation and than decide take the current client not bothering to give you the heads up to not come in. Left work early to be on time was sitting in the car for 1 and 44 minutes to be exact. She still had the audacity to say why you didn't come in. When she has a bunch of people in the entrance eating pizza with very loud music i waited my gas my time and hours of work. When you add someone have courtesy to at least give them the heads up that your cancellation is coming in because yes you are your own boss but clientele keep your business going and id they polite that dont mean they cant be rude and answer back like a smart ass like you do it means they appreciate your time but they aren't asking for a favor they are paying for your service and you have the worst personality when it comes to customer service, if you gonna book with Jessica be careful worst customer service, very bad attitude pay for the connection with your artist make this moment memorable dont feel like shes doing you a favor because if shes on that chair is for you your business is keeping her going. read more

Yo, pull up to Pharos Ink in Santa Ana and you'll peep real quick--it ain't just a tattoo shop, it's a full-blown vibe. The second you walk in, the crew's energy is on point. Ain't nobody actin' all uptight or Hollywood--these are real ones, choppin' it up with you, keepin' it light while still locked in on their craft. You'll see the artists hypin' each other up, crackin' jokes, playin' good music--makes the whole space feel hella welcoming and down-to-earth, like you're just kickin' it with fam. Whether it's your first tat or you tatted head to toe, they treat you like one of their own. But don't get it twisted--they're laid back, not lazy. The quality of the work is fire. read more

Went in for a 4 hour leg piece done by one of the best artist around Justin . During the session, Mr. Chubbs (great artist) saw me in my time of pain and he willingly offered me his Ipad and headphones to keep my mind distracted. I was also given a nice cold beverage and a blanket by a gentleman who was hanging out in the shop. I mean c'mon I can go on and on about how great they are. Weird vibes all around and highly don't recommend working with someone who will screw you over Now he's texting me calling me a lair bc I called him out on Instagram because he BLOCKED me instead of sending my deposit back. He did send the deposit back hours after all of this. He canceled my appointment in Los Angeles and asked me to drive an hour and a half one way to his other shop where he was already tattooing someone else and is now calling me disrespectful for asking for a discount to drive to his other shop. 3 hours round trip with gas prices over $6/gallon? After he canceled my appointment? Why wouldn't I ask for a discount. Also he tried to charge $400/hr for all this. I've been getting tattooed for 12 years and I've never had to deal with such arrogant behavior. 0/10 recommend.

Came for the tattoo, stayed because my artist, Dan, is offensively hot…read more First of all, this tattoo?? Unreal. The line work is so clean, the colors are soft but vibrant, and the whole thing somehow looks delicate and badass at the same time. It healed beautifully and still looks like a literal piece of art. I get compliments constantly. Dan is also chill, talented, and makes the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. If you're looking for a tattoo artist who actually listens, absolutely nails the execution, and also happens to look like he could ruin your life in the best way... congrats, you found him. Would 100% go back (for the art... obviously).

I searched forever to find someone who could create what I had in mind to life. Everyone is so friendly and the place is very modern and clean! I love the vibes here! They have a little seating area with a mini fridge with water and seltzer waters in case you get thirsty. Mars creates her designs when you arrive. I love that she really hears me out and is patient with me and her work. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for a first timer getting a tattoo. She answered all my questions prior and had clear Instructions for booking and what to expect before and after your appointment. I'm currently back with her to add more to my tattoo piece. Thank you Parlos SIX8 and Mars!

Process is super easy to follow and makes it a comfortable first timer experience before starting the tattoo. My tattoo artist was very thorough and a pleasure to spend 7.5 hours with. The detail in the tattoo was mesmerizing and it is now my favorite of all time! I will be back for more !! Also the owner of the shop is very friendly. Overall, the most comfortable place to get a tattoo especially with the majority of female tattoo artists.

I told him what I was looking for, sent him photos and an explanation of why I wanted the tattoo. When I showed up for my appointment, I knew I had chosen the right artist. He did an amazing job of capturing the image of my 18 year old cat who had died a few months before. George Washington, the cat, was a beloved family member and I wanted to always keep him close to me. The tattoo turned out perfect. Everything was exactly as Jake and I had discussed and it exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Jake to anyone.
