The wait time for prescription pick-up can reach up to 25-30 minutes, but this is mostly at busy times and only due to administrative requirements so it doesn't reflect the staff's work at all. My tip is to set yourself up online so you can order your prescriptions in advance and have a speedy pickup. I've had my prescriptions set up at both this Pharmaprix and the Uniprix further down south on St-Charles. The service is without a doubt better at this location.

My review is strictly based on my experience at the prescription counter/pharmacy section. The wait to get a prescription filled is oddly long regardless of what time or day you visit, having waited a half hour on more than 1 occasion with barely any customers present. They used to have great staff at the counter who were professional, and kind but now the staff has completely changed and they are rude and very unpleasant to deal with. Every single time I go I witness an unpleasant exchange of words between a staff member and a client, not acceptable. They have also made errors in entering my insurance information making me have to pay upfront and return for a refund after my insurance company confirms that my coverage is active, but staff incorrectly entered my birth date or coverage info, and then of course returning for the refund I got attitude from the staff member and no apology for their error. Tired of dreading going to pick up a prescription I finally switched pharmacies and what a difference. I've even called and left a message for the pharmacist when switching my families file to another pharmacy to speak to him about my concerns and as expected, never got a call back. Funny thing, when I called the nearby Uniprix to switch my file they automatically guessed which pharmacy I was transferring my file from, guess I am not the only one!

I would have expected to have been treated at least a little better by the pharmacy team- given that they see me at least twice a week, but no. Their service is horrible and they are not personable at all. I am changing to a Uniprix which has already given me better service in 5 minutes than pharmaprix did in the last 10 years. Faouzzi Fassatoui is also very rude and ungrateful to his clientele. If you can, go somewhere else.

Off to Pharmaprix (no Dollarama nearby), they sell the 237ml glass bottles, a pure delight for the taste buds and only a buck. I grabbed a couple and asked if they can open them. Nope, no bottle opener for the bottles they sell, but you will sell plastic bottle openers for $6 or $7? I started panicking, my food is getting cold and my drink is getting warm. I ransacked the car for anything that can help, destroying an umbrella in the process. Finally I saw the gas station across the street, the one that sells lots of beer. I asked if they carried bottle openers and they did. I asked if I can have two, and they obliged. They were Corona branded, all metal and painted yellow, for only a buck I keep one in the car at all times for emergencies. It took 15 minutes for them to call my name and then it was still the generic! I asked if they even had the brand name, when they said yes I said I would wait agin until they filled it properly. When the clerk finally calls me again, the little basket not only has the proper prescription, but also the two bottles of generic which were prepared in error - she was going to give all 3 bottles to me!
