I got what I wanted, we started chatting, and I ended buying a 'go pro' style camera that was on special, simply because he was so knowledgeable and friendly! Also they can provide advice on electrical information. Prices are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! I'd say 90- 95% of their stuff comes from mainland China but they don't mark it up like crazy. I purchased some flashing LED lights (meant to put on a bicycle) for $1.49 each for my dog's collar. A great place to come for your electrical and some hardware needs. I know: I am such a snob. Parts-wise, if you are looing for rows of capacitors and switches that you can actually pick up and touch, this is a terrific place. They have actually overtaken Addison as the better place to buy electronic components like caps, resistors, and board-level things like Raspberry Pi, Arduino and the like. I wouldn't buy semiconductors there (hello, that's what Digikey is for), but if you remember what electornics stores were like in the late last millenium, then you will have pretty good picture of what Abra looks like. they seem to have a lot of imported Asian components these days, but that is pretty par for the course. They have a good selection of soldering supplies and chemicals, whch are sometimes hard to find. Abra is great for the itmes that you need it now. If they have it online, you can just pop over to the store and pick it up.

They carry the whole line. So if you have $50k burning in your pocket and want a pair of speakers, this is the place. However they also carry everyday brands like Sonos and TV's by Sony and Samsung. So instead of going to the American Big Box store for your next TV and speaking with a college student that could care less, come here and speak to someone who's career is audio / video. If there's a sale elsewhere, they'll match the price. The store is also decorated with old antique radios and have unique pieces. Highly recommend!
