On the other hand, my visits are usually on a whim, but it's been years since I've found anything I must have. Regardless, I hope this is the survivor of all the skate/snow shops in the desert. Many continue to go out of business, and Powder & Sun has become a staple in the desert for years and years now. My suggestion? More product, more brands, more sizes, better prices.

Real name is Marwuan Haddadin), tells me no refunds, only exchanges. Since there is nothing in that store I am interested in (it's a board shop and I'm a senior citizen), I was screwed. I told the guy I'm really unhappy, and the coat is defective, and he says "you're an assh%le and get the f#@k out of my store", and calls security. If you buy something from this guy, beware. He's totally disingenuous and a low handed cutthroat thief. Jose G, the reviewer below, said "It sucks that only one person has reviewed this spot because one unhappy customer can really affect someone's business". I agree. Perhaps Marwuan, the rude, insulting, disingenuous thief that he is, should have thought about that before he decided to stick me with a defective coat, and then act like the assh%le he is instead of treating me with the modicum of respect that most customers expect from a merchant. I had a great experience with the people at Pharmacy Boardshop. I came in once not really knowing…read morewhat I was looking for while getting back into skateboarding as a 40 something. I looked at various boards and they made some recommendations while being very honest and not putting pressure on me to buy which I really appreciated. I didn't make a purchase then and went back home to do more research. When I went back to the shop, I knew what I wanted and they didn't have it in stock. They happily ordered it all for me and I had everything I wanted in less than a weeks time. They also put it all together at no additional cost. Altogether my setup wasn't cheap but that's because I wanted premium materials. I came back for a skate tool and some pads and will likely be back for some shoes more suitable for skating. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone in the area!
