I used to come here a lot but because money has been tight I haven't been able to make my way back here. And after my experience here I should've just stayed away. And here is why... Monday April 8, 2024 I went in knowing I was going to buy something because I had saved enough money to finally purchase a pair of boots. After a few days had passed by and I had Re-tried the boots on, I decided to go back in and exchange them on Friday April 12, 2024 for a size up so I'd have a more comfortable fit. Come Saturday I wore them out for the first time. After wearing them just a few hours the leather started to crack and these boots felt and looked like I have worn them for a year!!! So today Monday 15,2024 I went in the store to return the boots. I told the women at the register that after 1 day, just a few hours of wearing them they look and feel like these boots have been worn for a year. Her response was "oh no I've worn boots for a year and mine had holes on the bottom" so immediately I was dismissed and she proceeded to tell me that they aren't that bad. But I'm sorry you've had holes in your boots after a year of wearing them. If you purchased them from your work I can see why that was the case but if you've ever purchased high quality boots they should last you more than just one year of wear. After that comment she didn't try to refund me or see what she could do for me. she out the gate said " I can only give you store credit or an exchange of the same boot". So if you would like boots that are high quality and will last you more than just a few hours and you would like to be a customer by a company that will give you a better service than a response I received. A company that won't just take your money and say whelp it is what it is. Than this Boot Barn is not the place for you. This isn't just $40 jeans or $20 necklaces this is $230 boots. This kind of service after spending a chunk of money like this is distasteful. After I use my store credit I will not be returning. read more

Crazy that this boot barn doesn't carry the boxes the boots came in. Never have I ever spent $200 on a pair of shoes/boots and not gotten a box for them. Absolutely ridiculous. They were unprofessional. Even complained to my work about me because I brought in a voucher from my work. They didn't want to help me find the boots my voucher would cover. And their complaint was lies saying I was disrespectful. When all I asked is I needed boots my size and extra wide and I didn't want to go over. Store and staff were top notch. Clean friendly atmosphere. They have a ton of nice looking boots but we were in need of some reinforced toe work/western women's boots. There were at least 10 styles in this category and we went home with the perfect pair. They have a rewards program which saved 10% which helped. Good boots aren't cheap so any % off is nice. Multiple boots on boot barn site that the employees at this location say they don't carry. Make sense of that? Had to get some new boots before 2015 ended! They were pretty busy for New Year's Eve and nobody was able to personally help me today but normally they do. All of the employees here are so sweet and nice. They are friendly to my kids when they come in with me. I know it's annoying to help find boots for kids but they never rush me or my boys. My kids are picky and they are so helpful. They will order any size or width that you need and they always come in pretty pretty quick. When it comes to finding boots you can't rush it. You need to make sure they are the right fit and that they are adorable. I have been here for an hour before and walked out without boots because I just couldn't decide which ones to get. We came in looking to purchase boots. A staff member named Tori was working in the back section I over heard a woman ask if Tori could find the matching boot for the one she was wanting to try on. Tori appeared reluctant as she told the woman, oh it's on display if your 100% sure you want it I'll get it for you, but only if your sure you want them. Then a member of my party asked if Tori would measure her for the correct boot size Tori says boots would be the same as their shoe size but if she wasn't sure of her shoe size than she would messure her. When I asked if someone could temporarily remove the security tag staff said sure, just walk to the front and ask. I needed some work boots, so I decided to choose Boot Barn. My wife, and I entered the store, and were immediately followed around by store by employees. I noticed no one else was approached, and asked if they needed help, but we were asked numerous times. i found a boot I wanted, and my wife left with an employee to look at something she wanted. I went to the aisle after trying on my boots, and my wife was speaking with the employee. About two seconds later another employee shows up at the other end of the aisle, and asked me if I need help. I did not respond, so she blocks off the aisle, and starts arranging boots on her end moving towards me. I had to back up, and leave the aisle so i would not get completely blocked in. I will not be going back to purchase anything else, i would suggest some form of customer courtesy training for their staff if they plan to stay in business. read more

We usually go into this store often to make purchases. Lately when we have been going in there's usually a group of girls talking at the cash registers not paying attention to customers. Jeanine greeted us and helped us pick out boots that were perfect for us and treated us like she has known us for years and made us feel welcomed. Once we got to the register, their "manager", Tessa, helped us. Firstly, she was very rude, gave my fiance dirty looks because we asked if we could use our points that we earned from a previous purchase. Tessa did not want anything to do with us and never brought up lay away which is what we wanted to do. The items that we were buying are for our wedding. I've been going to Boot Barn pretty steady for a couple of years and I've always like the greeting I get when I walk in. Every employee has an interest in working there. They make sure I get exactly what I need. I bought work boots from there and was in the process of breaking them in and I noticed that in the middle of the day they felt really tight because my feet swell. I was referred to this business today by some friends. I'm having a special event and from what I was told, Boot Barn would have been the perfect place. My husband and I arrived there and there were 4-5 employees all at the front of the store talking. I was so excited and amazed looking around the store because it looked like the place would have everything I needed. Once the employees saw my husband and I they immediately disbursed. One went into the back and the others went as far away from us as possible. They all disbursed without saying a word to us. My husband immediately noticed that our money was no good in this store. Let me mention that our friends that referred us are White and we are Native American and African American. It was obvious that this business has no room for people like us. We've been shopping here for years and have referred dozens of people to this store. It's very rare to have someone take the time to truly care about their customers but Amanda truly takes the time to help us through our selections and match us with the right gear for both work and leisure time. Our friends also have had the same awesome customer service from Amanda and the sales team here and some drive over a hundred miles just to shop with them because they truly take their time to help find the right gear for them too. Last week I went in to buy some boots for the first time & a employee named Shelby was absolutely amazing! I wish more stores had employees like her. She made my shopping experience so much easier. I have been having a very hard time finding boots and she had such patience with me and answered all my questions and the store was pretty busy and she multi task very well with helping others and returning to check on me. I ended up buying the boots and love them. I came in today and this is what got me to write my review, Shelby was their and instantly greeted me and remembered me. Asked how I was doing & how the boots were fitting. I came in to pick up an online order and asked her if she could help style an outfit for me because I didn't really know how to put it together, she once again went above and beyond bringing me different sizes that I needed and suggestions. Employees truly make or break shopping experiences for me. I haven't shopped at boot barn in a long time because years ago I wouldn't receive help & now i get amazing service and will definitely continue to shop here. Majority of stores now the employees seem to not want to work or even get ready for work and this is far from the case. I went into Boot Barn about 3 weeks ago my husband needed boots for work he only buys them at Boot Barn steel toe size 10 and a half wide, 115 per pair. Anyway I wanted to buy two pair like we always do. And they only had one pair and ordered the other pair telling me it would be about 5 to 7 business days before the second pair came in. They said they would call me. 7 days went by and I called on that Monday. I spoke to whoever answered the phone and told her the scenario, she told me they should have never told me 5 to 7 days sometimes they don't know how long it takes. I said okay well will you just check maybe they're there. she put me on hold for about 5 minutes came back and said no they're not here I said okay will you guys still call me or do I need to keep calling back to check she said we will call you when they come in. Another week went by I called on that following Monday. another girl answered the phone I told her the scenario she said oh they should be here will be on hold for 5 minutes, came back on the line and said no they're not here my husband was next to me and said just cancel I'll go and pick up my money tomorrow. I told the girl she said okay no problem, she said sorry and we hung up. My husband went into the store. Tuesday to get his money back. Just for the heck of it he looked over by the shoes where we usually get these and they were in a box on the floor. He took them up front and said are these my shoes? The girl looked it up and checked it I said what yes I'm not sure what happened there? Anyway needless to say it was a big pain in the ass, we live 45 minutes away and the girls were not very friendly to me on the phone or to him when he came in, we will not be shopping there anymore we'll just order them online from now on. that's a shame too because I really like that store I've spent a lot of money in the store there's never a time I go and spend $300-500 Oh well you don't care we don't care! Staff is nice but I find it troubling that a place that "specializes" in boots seems to carry very few wides in my size (13). My first visit was for hiking boots, which they don't carry.
