They claimed they only learned about it that day, with no prior warning whatsoever. This left me without critical daily medications, forcing me to scramble for a new pharmacy and have my doctor resend everything during the hectic new year period. The total lack of advance notice, communication, or any contingency plan showed a complete disregard for patient health and caused tremendous stress and danger. While regulations are important, better preparation and care for long-time patients could have prevented this. This experience has destroyed my trust--I'll be switching permanently and suggest others relying on daily essential prescriptions seek more reliable options.

Because of my past horrific experiences with Walgreens ( who I frequented for the last 6 years) I was scared to go to a new pharmacy where no one knew me. I was anxious when I walked in the door but as soon as I got to the counter I was greeted kindly & immediately felt relieved. Rich saw me as a human being who needed help. In all my 6 years of living in Florida my old pharmacist NEVER EVER made me feel that way and that is just plain sad. Unfortunately I have several medical issues and dealing with them and covid is hard enough, then I'd have to deal with pharmacists who had no people skills, unprofessional, and hardly ever had my medications in stock and caused me grief every time I went there. Now that Tamarack Pharmacy are my new pharmacists its a huge relief that I don't have to get agitated whenever I need to get a prescription filled. I am more than happy to give & transfer all of my business to Tamarack Pharmacy (and that is a lot of business)! After waiting at the pickup counter for several minutes with no assistance, I walked over to the register for help. The employee, who identified herself as Rose, immediately accused me of going behind the counter to look through the packages. I never did any such thing. I simply told her I believed I could see my package from the customer side of the counter. Rather than apologizing or asking a simple question, she chose to accuse me. When I told her she shouldn't make accusations without knowing the facts, she argued with me instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally. She then retrieved my package and demanded my ID in a rude, dismissive tone, without even the basic courtesy of saying "please." When I asked her to be more polite, her response was, "Do you want your package?" That is completely unacceptable from anyone in customer service, especially someone who claims to be the store manager. I asked to speak with the manager, and she informed me that she was the manager. As I left the store, I asked another Walgreens employee if Rose was indeed the manager. She confirmed that she was. When I explained what had happened, the employee told me that multiple customers had complained about Rose before. If Walgreens values customer service, someone in upper management should seriously look into how customers are being treated at this location. A store manager sets the standard for the entire team. Rose's behavior was rude, confrontational, disrespectful, and completely inconsistent with the level of professionalism customers should expect. I will not return to this location as long as this type of behavior is considered acceptable.

While I waited, I looked around and aw they have a big selection of pharmacy items and DME. The store was also very neat and clean.
