Unfortunately, a security officer appeared to watch one friend, who is about 25, throughout our visit. He eventually pulled her aside to question what was in her water bottle and question her about her age. By then, we all had liquor cards for the pour wall provided inside of the arcade so I guess I'm not really sure why he was so over the top also absolutely no one was drunk as our kids were present. I understand Area 254 has rules about outside drinks and alcohol, and she agreed to put the bottle in her car when asked. What upset us was how the interaction escalated: he questioned her at length, then raised his voice at our table like we are a group of kids. We felt very disrespected , especially since there were several other water bottles on the table that weren't questioned. What could have been a brief, respectful conversation turned into an uncomfortable interruption to our birthday celebration. Area 254 is a place where families and adults come to have fun. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled so guests are treated with respect while the rules are enforced. We watched him proceed to harass other grown adults that were enjoying themselves. There was a couple drinking at a table and he had a manager pulled over and was yelling at them too ultimately, he just needs to learn his place. You are the equivalent to mall security, you are not top-flight security of the world. Relax.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. They had something going on that was just wrapping up. This would have been fine, but you could only bowl paying by the hour...so everyone being on top of each other slowed the games down. We were barely able to finish one game in an hour following proper etiquette. Guy at the counter was probably tired after whatever was going on that day, but he was a little impatient. They enter the bowlers names for you at the counter--would def be better id u could do it yourself at the lane on the screen. Working the counter at a bowling alley shouldn't be so stressful. Lanes were good. Didn't have any problems with screens, didn't have to reset any pins which was nice. Service at the deli and bar were both slow. Often times they both looked closed. Need more/better house balls. Over all...not a horrible place, but not a great one. Would check out another option next time for comparison.

The Maxson family that owns the alley are some of the friendliest people you will meet in town and can provide you some great laughs if you get to know them. They have add one such as goody bags and food/drink options for adults. We added a couple food platters for adults and the goody bags. Pros: - Affordable and convenient - low stress - kids had an absolute blast Cons: - Overall service was very average and slow. Inexperienced party host staff. - Room wasn't set up / ready until bowling was nearly done. - Upon arriving at the venue we learned that they didn't have goody bags available that day. This was disappointing because I would've expected a heads up at least one day in advance so that we can make other arrangements. They did provide an extra $10 on each child's game card to make up for it, which was nice.

They had the nerve to give us a 1 hour of bowling for free gift card (to make it up ) while they gave us a $475 bill and wanted a tip. As if we are ever going back. This is after hearing "we have other people besides you to attend to what do you expect us to do we can't fix everything". Like I'm supposed to pay for a party package and not expect to get everything I paid for because they have more than one party . Just lazy !!! They have ZERO accountability, not one person really gave a damn. It was more like a burden to have to work. The whole place is going down hill and the restrooms are beyond filthy. The food is atrocious and even when we had to wait came out cold. Never had such a trashy worthless waste of money experience in my life as I did at this place. This isn't an opinion it's what happened.
