Came here on a Saturday afternoon. They had something going on that was just wrapping up. Being that it wasn't cleared on that side yet--all the people that were bowling were on one side of the bowling alley. This would have been fine, but you could only bowl paying by the hour...so everyone being on top of each other slowed the games down. We were barely able to finish one game in an hour following proper etiquette. Guy at the counter was probably tired after whatever was going on that day, but he was a little impatient. They enter the bowlers names for you at the counter--would def be better id u could do it yourself at the lane on the screen. Working the counter at a bowling alley shouldn't be so stressful. Lanes were good. Didn't have any problems with screens, didn't have to reset any pins which was nice. Service at the deli and bar were both slow. Often times they both looked closed. Need more/better house balls. Over all...not a horrible place, but not a great one. Would check out another option next time for comparison. read more

Came in to bowl a quick 3 games at 12:00. All lanes were open. Was told they couldn't change the screens due to league starting at 1:00. Might as well close for that hour then. No one is aloud to bowl. Stupid to miss out on money. read more

This experience was so... First of all, the cashier was so rude it was crazy. Then, we asked for bumpers and apparently the rule is you can't have bumpers if you're not 8 and under? What type of rule is that? The music selection in this place is awful too. It's not fun here at all, there's barely any customization or anything else to do but hit some pins. It's also very expensive. So if you're looking to practice your bowing skills or whatever, this place is great. But if you're looking to have fun, go somewhere else. read more

5 stars for pro shop. Gentlemen there take great care in drilling a ball to perfection, and you get two complimentary games. End of good review. Front desk is undermanned, with counterperson often nowhere in sight for 5-10 minutes at a time while you wait for a lane. Many bowlers are ghetto without a clue about lane etiquette. You'll step up to the line to bowl and the butt heads next to you jump right alongside of you and rush their throw, killing your concentration and routine. Often during our games 5 or 6 people in the group next to us would get up onto the lane AT THE SAME TIME and get in the way of our space. Then they would fling their balls in the air as far as they could throw them, TWICE landing in our lane, with them laughing their fool asses off. How management didn't see this happening and eject these fools was beyond me. Food takes forever. We waited 45 minutes for a lousy hotdog. Another couple of jerks were playing air hockey next to the snack area, but they weren't using the handheld strikers. They picked up the puck-disks, stepped back, and FLUNG them at each other. The disks more often than not flew off the table. All this about 15 feet from the front counter. Management just turns a blind eye to this hoodlum riffraff. BOWL HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. read more

Food is ok. Lady with red hair refused to make pizza cause it takes to "long". Beer was amazing had a wonderful time with family though. Just wish they would make the pizza instead of being lazy also they need to invest in smaller shoes for kids with smaller feet that wanna bowl. The lanes are kinda weird. You can tell it's old. Balls are all scuffed. But it's close to our house and they have good Tuesday special. Only $2.50/game. We like the bowling in Temple best, but Becausr Hallmark is much closer, we went here. read more

Lady with the red hair needs to be fired. She was not only drunk while working, but extremely rude to my friends and I. She completely messed up our games and it cut off early. Couldn't even finish the game we paid for because they were closing. Not someone I recommend putting at the front desk if you want people to come back in. Not a friendly face AT ALL. read more

So so Horrible. Had nothing ready or organized. Ordered food at 12:48 p.m., got told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Here comes 2pm and still asking where food and drinks are. Asked several times about 8 or 10 for drinks for the table. Pizza finally came and wasn't cut all they way and was burnt. asked about pizza several times, too. Gave nothing to service the pizza with. So, we had to run and get our own things. Was supposed to have a bowling pin with balloons at the start of the party, but I didn't get until 2 pm. The party started at 12:30. Ended at 2:30pm. We were there 12pm to help set up. We did most of the setting up even though we paid them to do so. Workers were not helpful to the party. They over booked them self. Had to wait 30 minutes for someone to put rail guards up so kids lost bowling time. Cut the game in mid bowl because of it. We asked 10 times for drinks for the kids, and they didn't listen. At 2:15, I got told we needed to start cleaning up even though we paid for the service of them setting and cleaning up. So we cleaned everything, and she told me when i said something that i misunderstood. No, her son came over and said hows it going?" yall will have to start cleaning up." 6 parents did not misunderstand anything. We all heard him. my kid didn't get to have happy birthday sang to her or get to open her gifts because they rushed us to clean up 15 minutes before the party was even over. Also a party that came after us got everything before us. When I said something when I went to pay. She said that how their food is and how their party's are and wanted me to give a 20% tip on 175.00 to her kids, the ones that were supposed to help our party but didn't. She was pissed that I did not tip. And nothing was done for all the issues we had. Workers were rude, and the front desk lady was the rudest of them all. Will never go again. Also, kids were supposed to get free bowling coupons. Did not happen. I said something 10 times to them about it because I paid for them with the party. They came to us after almost everyone left and gave us 6 out of 10 because the party was over. Pros: Great prices Food is pretty good Staff is friendly Cons: Hours Leagues The problem is getting in to use the Kids Bowl Free program or even outside of the summer months. They don't open until 12pm and you have until 8pm to use the program. They schedule leagues and other events so it prevents you from being able to bowl. This has happened more than once and it's very frustrating.... Best bet is to call prior to going so you can schedule your bowling accordingly. read more

Great place to take your kids or even hangout with good friends. The bar was amazing, the guy new how to make anything and everything. The bar prices were fair and the food was great. The customer service was great. Our lanes had some issues and they fixed it within amount of 5 minutes (while it was really busy). The only downfall would be where the bowling balls are displayed it's in the way where people are sitting. They didn't have a good selection of balls that would fit my fingers. read more

Didn't know this place was here.. Very clean and looked like fun. Well stocked pro shop and lounge area. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Lots of leagues there so if you want to go call to be sure there are lanes open. Parking is also good and there is food. Also look for deals. read more

Worst costumer service I have ever got from a place. Had reservations at 830pm didn't get lame till close too 1030pm. when I was tell Datoys duncm my problems he laughed at me and was very very rude and I felt discriminated against and like my Business didn't matter to him, I had a party of 11 that was bowling. He made sure to turn one of my lanes of first and didn't turn others off till I questioned him. Balls kept getting stuck and the lady who was working the lanes made it seem like it was a bother to her, she would bring the ball back up for one lane but if my kids ball got stuck she would just throw it down the gutter, both were on their cell phones behind the counter very rude and discriminating will never ever go back and will warn all I know to go somewhere else for being the most expensive bowling ally in town they are also the worst. read more

The worst place to have a child's party! The website stated that the party has one price but at the end, you owe a balance. The manager is rude. My grandma got called a n****r for asking why the hostess was being so rude to the kids and not being professional. If you wanna take your kids bowling choose post or rancier! Worst experience ever! I came here to see if the reviews were true....as far as the bowling goes, it's pretty decently priced and the lanes are we kept. There is a lack of ball variety, though. My gripe is not with the bowling lanes so much as everything else. I went to their "bar" and asked for two white russians. Let me go out and say this was the laziest bar i have ever been to. The bar tender didn't even know what white Russian was. Come on. .. that is beginner level stuff. So I walked him through the ingredients....and he only gave me only one, though I asked for two. And even though I told him how to make the drink it still cost $15+ for sub par cocktails. Next I went to the snack bar and ordered their 4 item "platter"...I use that term loosely. For a $10 platter I was expecting. ..oh i don't know...a platter? You can see in the picture the "platter" and two white russians I received in the pictures section. Several other places in Killeen, though older, blow this place out of the water. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The bowling is over priced and there is no customer service. I got torn shoes and was unable to play my game so my husband played on my turns so the game would continue. I turned my shoes in and informed the clerk that I wouldn't be finishing my game. She never mentioned that I needed to remove my name from the game. When we went to check out we were charged for my game as well, I asked why I was being charged when I didn't play and her response was "well you should have removed your name" I spoke with the manager who then returned my money for the one game. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the manager did correct the problem but I will be going on post from now on. read more

I've tried calling this place over and over again. It's 1:14 and the machine answers and says it's open from noon till close. Why can't I get an answer? One ring and then answer machine right away. From that impression alone I wouldn't recommend bowling here at all. read more

More TV's and big enough you can see everything from your table, bowling ball pod are divide great. The alley may need replacing due to bowlers messing around and throwing the ball almost 1/4 or 1/2 into the alley other than that great bowling alley lanes polished and food is acceptional but the speakers calling the order are somewhat quite. read more

Good bowling alley not great, kind of stuck in the old times. Staff is excellent from the front desk to bartenders and kitchen. It's 2015 and u still have to request music b nice if they had an online jukebox system. The midnight bowling just got upgraded but it's still like eh they tried I guess. Food is digiorno pizza an the chili and cheese comes from a machine nothing is homemade. Leagues are about the best thing they offer. Owners r kinda rude, ask for something like shiner bock n their draft beer said no rudely it's not one of the top selling beers n texas for a reason. But I do go a lot cause it's close to home. It is not located in the "good" part of town but it has the lanes and during the summer they offer the Kids Bowl Free program, which is nice. It's an older bowling alley but most of the time, the lanes work. I did not try the food. read more

Just moved to the area and I'm an avid bowler so with that said Hallmark is simply OK as a bowling center. Staff is fairly nice, and the center is fairly clean. However despite many renovations, this center still fills stuck somewhere between the 80s and modern times, and the center is also fairly small causing it to get quickly over crowded. The wooden lanes and pit area have been improved within the last few months with new seating, synthetic lanes, and resurfacing of the approach, which is a huge plus! However the pin setters are still old, and show that they need work (pins consistently offset, slow reset times, missing pins, etc.). The bar and food center is rather basic and expensive for some offerings. Game room will be enough to keep kids amused for a few minutes, however not much variety so they will get bored quickly. The AC is also vastly under powered as this center gets very hot in the late afternoon which makes competitive bowling fairly difficult when you're covered in sweat and sitting under a fan in the pit, which seems to be the coolest spot. For open bowling the prices are right in line with most centers. League prices are also fair, however this past summer has been a wild ride. Week in and week out the shot changes, one week it'll be flooded, next week bone dry, next week somewhere in between. When asking personal about what pattern is ran, I never get an honest answer as they simply respond "it's the house shot." Sorry I've bowled on many patterns, and I generally average 220-230 on standard house patterns, and 180-220 on sport shots (depending on the shot/difficulty) and these shots are anything but a house shot as they require pin point accuracy that, in my opinion, is often more challenging than some PBA patterns. Please get a mechanic in place that will run a consistent pattern! I'm not asking for an easy house shot, however consistency week in and week out would be nice, and if you're gonna run challenging patterns, register the league as a sport league so that when a bowler does shoot an honor award it's accurately documented. Pro shop has a decent selection, however the prices are beyond outrageous. $210 for a bowling ball with "free drilling" plus tax and no inserts/slug is beyond insane for a ball that can be purchased online for $140, and $150 with inserts and slug with free shipping and no tax. I would have bought a ball on the spot, as I need the one that just so happened to be in stock, however due to these prices I will go through a friend back home and just wait on him to drill it and ship it for a fraction of this price. I was bowling a league last night, they wanted to move some bowlers because the lane broke down. Which is a common occurrence at this bowling alley. A customer spoke up about not moving because they had open bowlers on the break down pair. Yes, they put open bowlers on the break down pair because they are so cheap. Anyways, the head mechanic, who happened to be bowling, came up to the customer and said " If you dont like having to move lanes, just Fin dont bowl here anymore." Thats how the customer service is at this place. It is absolutely horrible. I would not waste my money here. Bowlerama is 10x better when it comes to customer service. If I was the head manager of the Hallmark, the head mechanic would be fired! read more
