I live in Ohio but had been searching for a specific-option Mercedes GL SUV for a couple months…read more VIP Auto had an ad on eBay and I called with a number of questions. Hamid sent me all details on the vehicle then went out of his way to meet me early one morning in Northern Virginia to show me the truck before I hopped on a flight out of DCA. The SUV was exactly what I was looking for and exactly as it was described. Hamid then spent a week taking it to a local Mercedes dealer for me and having some maintenance and other items taken care of before my family and I flew back two weeks later to pick it up, have it for vacation driving, and then drive back to Ohio. Paying almost $50k for a luxury SUV from out of state was concerning, but VIP Auto was excellent with communication, paperwork, and scheduling. Hamid is very professional and came through on everything, far exceeding our expectations. I would most certainly buy another car from VIP Auto again or recommend them to friends. Even for buying out of state, the description and pics of the vehicle were fully accurate and Hamid answered all questions I had (and I had a lot!).

I don't know where to start. Reached out to VIP Auto and was greeted by Mallie. He's not a bad guy;…read morehowever, the vehicle I received was in horrible condition. I purchased a vehicle sight unseen and had a mobile pre-inspection done. I'll get to that later. If I had flown to VA, I would have saved myself the headache and the tens of thousands in negative equity. There were many scratches, dents, and touch-up paint all over the vehicle ($2,000). Cheap aftermarket AMG replica rims with snow tires ($3,500). Lower center chrome trim damaged ($250), driver headlight cracked. The interior was also in terrible shape. Cigarette burn in the headliner, missing rear console door ($185), overly discolored leather seats, rips in the leather, and if there is a clip to hold something together, it was either broken or missing. Two main clips that were broken and missing held the chrome strips on the door handles ($740), a car that is supposed to be quiet was filled with rattling noise when driving. After 3 months with the vehicle, the check engine light came on. Hooked it up to the computer; 3 cylinders are misfiring ($1,000 in parts, work done myself). The dealer wanted to charge $4,000. Rear window stopped working ($385). The mobile mechanic stated that the brakes were in excellent condition; however, they were as thin as a sheet of paper and squealed even when the transporter was backing the vehicle from the truck ($1,500). After five months, a significant leak occurred from one of the coolant reservoirs. I didn't know how much that cost because I had to sell the vehicle after having it for 6 months and driving less than 2k miles. My total was $46,560, and I sold it for $27,500 because it was in such poor condition. Almost $20k in negative equity makes me want to vomit! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

I was originally driving by the dealer, when I saw a vehicle that I have been on the hunt for!…read more It was a very random stop, but once I walked into the office Ron was very helpful with getting the vehicle pulled up- and ready for a test drive.. In September 2026, we had a terrible experience. The dealership presented a 2019 Kia Forte at a…read morevery good price on their website. The pictures showed the car was in good shape, including a working dash display, that is approximately 10 inches across. When we test drove the car, the computer display did not WORK. It was 100% black, no images trying to show through, truly a not working display. They sales rep said this is not a problem, they've ordered a new computer display for the car. The rep wanted us to buy the car, and then the would fix it, when we brought the car back for the repair. We asked, what if there is a problem in the wiring, that the display is not the issue? Would they fix that if the new display change-out didn't work? The dealership would not commit to guaranteeing they would fix the display issue, only that they would install a new display. (Very shady) TWO days before we made the 3-hour drive to look at the car, we talked with the sales rep. We asked, why is this car so cheap? He said they have many Forte's and they want to get rid of them. When there, the sales rep also told us they get 100 new cars every week, which was another lie. I find it very hard to believe this dealership has the capacity to prep 100 used purchases every week. And there were only a couple couple Forte's on the lot. On their website in the car description, it read that the car comes with a remote. When getting ready for the test drive, the sales rep provided us with one metal key, and said that's all they have. He said to unlock the car, you have to pop-off part of the door handle, and then unlock the car manually. We had to ask them to provide a remote, as they did not offer to provide one. Seriously, they wanted us to unlock the car manually forever... I'm guessing the piece of the door handle that you have to pop-off to get to the manual key hole, will likely become loose and fall off after a few weeks of being popped off regularly... ALSO, when they brought the car up for us to test drive, it was covered in thick dust. The sales rep told us they have a detail shop, and they didn't do a good job on it. They knew at least 1.5 days in advance we were coming. They could have washed the car. (It looked like the dealership has a drive through car-wash beside their garage in the back) During our negotiations, we asked if we could speak with the manager because of the display not working and not having a remote? The rep said he is in a meeting. But the rep kept going into the manager's office to talk with them about our situation. The manager NEVER came out to talk with us. He obviously didn't care if we felt like we were not having a good experience at their dealership. They tried to push us into another couple cars, but we quickly saw damage on the other cars from accidents that were not properly repaired. For example, in the front passenger wheel-well of an Altima, there was foil tape trying to seal the busted plastic wheel-well guard. On a Honda accord, the hood had a spotty / poor paint job, definitely not a manufacturer or professional paint job. Everything about this used car dealership was shady. They need new management that will push quality service and honesty. Be careful here. Maybe they have some good cars, but we had a terrible, untruthful, and non-customer friendly experience with them. *** I'm anxious to read the dealership's reply to this message. I'm sure they will spin it, and try to make it seem that we were unreasonable. All we expected was for the car to be what we were verbally told before visiting the dealership and of course for the car to be 100% as indicated on their website.
